Chapter 2330 - The Meeting I

Five days have pa.s.sed since I have been awake, and I have come to find a lot of changes have happened on the battlefield since I had returned.

One of the most important things that happened while I was in a coma was that Jill had joined the war and instantly became an enigma.

From what I have been told by the teacher and few people have visited me, she had gained the strength of peak Grandmaster, the moment she had leveled up the to the Grandmaster cla.s.s.

Grandmaster Charline had even said that she had gained enough strength that she could fight against the council members, and not many people would have a hard time believing that after the abyssal aura they had sensed.

Not to mention her predecessor had defeated the council member the day she had become a Grandmaster.

If I am not wrong, I think Jill might have the problem of defeating the council members or some of them. The aura of the source was very strong, and seeing the grade of resources her organization was searching for her, it is without a doubt she had gained the incredible strength her level up.

It had put a little smile on my frozen face; for quite a while, I had gained an edge over her, but now she had again beat me.

I am only a little sad; since I choose the celestial inheritance, I have accepted that my progress will be slow as I have to create my own inheritance.

It was a miracle that I was able to progress so fast as the majority of people who practice celestial inheritances progress slower compared to people with inheritance and bloodline.

I would not be behind forever; once I healed, I would go to the front, and it won't be long before I matched up to her.

Jill is one of the few bright points of the war in the past months, as more than half of the battles are going in favor of Grimm Monsters. They are capturing territory after territory while we are just retreating.

From what I am able to find out, the Pyramid had not sent out the Grandmasters I have healed yet; not only them but few Grandmasters we were so fortunate to produce have also been kept back.

Though, seeing how the Grimms are pus.h.i.+ng us back, we will have to reveal them. The Grimms have also wanted that, which is why they have been pus.h.i.+ng us back so hard.

It would take a while before I could join the war; in these five days, I have only been able to deal with 5% of the spatial particles inside me, which is a very slow speed, and one might think, it might take me months to deal.

I would not let that happen; there are too many things that depend upon me for me to remain in the hospital for that long.

The process will become faster as the more spatial particle I deal with, not to mention I have nearly finished creating the improved formation after getting data in the past few days; the new formation would definitely increse my rate of healing.

"Grandmaster Micheal, in five minutes, you have an appointment with the council," Clea reminded, bringing me out of my core. "Thank you, Clea," I said a second later as I brought myself out of my core.

Clea had been very helpful in the past few days; teacher and Grandmaster could not stay with me every day. They could, but I have sent them away; each of them is a medical expert, and their skills are required to save lives.

Staying with me would not help me do that.

I not bored as they might think or even in danger; one would need to be a peak Grandmaster if they want to kill me. While Ashlyn and Nero might look like they are always playing around, they are keeping close eyes from my core and would appear instantly if I fell in any danger.

A minute later, Clea had left, leaving me alone in the room.

I submitted the mission report yesterday, and the council decided to meet me. They have decided on the end of this week, but I have asked today. I am fine, aside from being paralyzed and only being able to use my rule-bending power.

Minutes pa.s.sed by, and soon long table with twelve seats materialized in front of me; of the twelve seats, only six were occupied with Grand Commander being absent.

"Micheal, it is nice to see you are fine; when I saw your condition a month ago, I did not think you would survive," Lord Whitmore said. "It is all due to our wonderful healers that I am alive today, lord Whitmore," I replied.

"The council is very happy seeing that. You are invaluable to the war," He said before his face turned serious.

"The destruction of the ruin is a very rare occurrence and a very dangerous one." "Though this one did not cause us any harm, we still like to know about it," He said.

"As I had said in my report, in the subterranean of ruin, there was a very dangerous artifact containing a very dangerous fire, or it might be a real sun; it is very hard to tell," I said.

"When I had reached there, I have found out the Grimms were trying to harness some of its power into an artifact, but while they were doing that, the Grimms triggered the artifact in some way, and a black hole appeared inside the artifact and swallowed it whole."

"It also swallowed it six of Grimm Grandmaster, and only Horseman Asja was able to run away with its life, though I don't know it survived or now seeing the condition of s.p.a.ce there," I half lied.

"The artifact had become one with ruin, and when it suddenly disappeared, it instantly destabilized the ruin, and it begins to break apart," I added.

Most of what I had said is true; the parts which I had manipulated, I had done that for my own safety. They do not need to know that I could now control a Grandmaster; even a Horseman did not know that.

It might have considered it was when Antman attacked it, but it does not have proof, and according to it and most other hearing, it would be the only thing Antman had went bat s.h.i.+t crazy due to its differences with the Horseman.
