Chapter 2249 - D'Tabas Roasting Technique II

"Its finished!"

The being said, as layers of fires, have dissapeared one after another, and I stopped the urge to clap back, what he is shown me could be considered a great performance of the highest degree.

It took three hours and seven minutes to spit roast this rabbit, and every second of it was amazing. I have learned many things and even bigger challenges.

Mastering this roasting technique would not be an easy thing, but I am up for the challenge. As once I had mastered this method, my control would reach a completely different level, which would directly increase my strength.

"It was amazing, my lord; I had never thought one could roast such way," I said with my eyes s.h.i.+ning.

"Culinary art is full of possibility little human, and what you have just seen is just the most basic part of it," It said, and knives appeared in its hand.

He cut several pieces of meat from the roasted rabbit and placed a plate in front of me. I did not waste any time and cut the meat, which cut smoothly and ate the piece.

"Mmmm!"

Unconscious sound couldn't help but escape from my mouth; what I am eating is anything I have eaten before. It is the most delicious thing I have ever eaten and had just melted in my mouth.

I don't know when I chewed it and gulped it down as I had only come to myself when I was about to eat the second piece of it.

I closed my eyes and evaluated all the layers of flavors it contained before I took another bite of the meat. The hundreds of fiery layers of temperature have given a unique texture and flavor to the meat.

It is very soft to chew and delicious to eat that; before I know it, I have finished up the whole plate and looked at the huge rabbit longingly.

"Do you want the second? You can have it," Said the being, completely shocking me, as before I only get to eat one time. If I wanted to eat again, I would have to cook it for myself.

"Yes, please," I said as I forwarded the plate. Soon, I have another plate filled with roasted meat which I begin to eat in gusto while taking the notes in my mind with each bite. If I want to master this roasting technique, I would have to get familiar with every aspect of it.

"You can third, but it will be the last one," The being said the moment I finished and second later, it filled my plate with the meat again, which I have begun to eat.

This time, I was much slower in eating as my cravings were a little satisfied, and I took my sweet time a.n.a.lyzing every little aspect of it and even spent minutes on the single bite, so I could not miss anything.

Finally, after more than half an hour, I finished up my plate, and when I looked up. I saw the cooked rabbit had disappeared, and an uncooked one had appeared back on the table with all the tools and ingredients.

It is clear that now, it is my time to practice.

I took a deep breath, got up from my place, and walked toward the table where the skinned rabbit and other things were placed.

The first few steps were quite easy, including the application of oil and other spices; I do not think I have made mistakes in that. The real challenge begins at the most important part, the fire control.

Fire streaked across my hand and began to form layers of fire, each bearing a different temperature.

It took me a few to create the ten layers, a minute to create a hundred layers, and seven six minutes to create three hundred and forty-two layers.

I already made a mistake; the forming of the layer should not take more than forty-five seconds, and I would have to begin roasting the rabbit in the nine seconds after applying the oil and spices.

I did just that, but my lateness in the forming of the fiery layers had already destroyed the delicate balance I should follow in roasting the rabbit.

The rabbit had not burned or anything, but I had already lost the delicate chemical and magical structure I should mold in the rabbit. My attempt to salvage it would be useless now, but despite that, I continued.

I have created the layers of fire but changing their temperature to create a specific chemical and magical structure inside is still an extremly hard thing for me.

Maintaining so many layers and changing each of their temperatures every second as they hit is a very hard thing, far more than maintaining control over hundreds of strings, but still, I am trying.

As once I master it, I will be able to manipulate my strings to a much higher degree than I could right now.

Soon three and half hours pa.s.sed by before I had finally stopped.

The rabbit is completely cooked with glistering spicy juices dripping from it. These spices have reached very deep inside it, making it extremly delicious despite going very wrong from the beginning.

The smell coming from it is salivating, and I know its going to taste delicious but far from being the match of the real thing.

"You have made hundreds of mistakes, starting from applying the oil and spices. As for manipulation of fire, you were disastrous," The being sat, not mincing its words from the beginning.

"The first mistake"

It began to note down all my serious mistakes, while mentioning small mistakes now and them while also giving me tips on some of those mistakes and left to figure out myself on few another.

"You should give your grand mess a taste before you try again," The being said after it had finished stating all my mistakes.

Hearing that, I walked toward the rabbit; I roared and cut a few slices of it and took a bite.

It is bad, only when compared to what the being had cooked, but if one had not tasted the original thing, then it is extremly delicious, to the level of my fire thunder shrimp rice which I had cooked earlier with all my efforts.

I am sure people would go mad for it if I cooked it outside.
