Chapter 1933 - War Begins II

"Micheal, Elina, come to the council chambers immediately!" Teacher said before cutting the call; we both looked at each other and, without talking, moved toward the teleportation formation in my house.

Soon, we reached the teleportation formation, and I adjusted its coordinates to the council chambers. A second later, it had lit up, and we have disappeared from my house and appeared in the teleportation circle of the council building.

We walked out of teleportation formation; I saw a couple of important Tyrants of the Academy are moving toward the main conference room.

"Micheal and Elina, do you know what the headmistress summoned us urgently?" Asked a middle-aged man with green hair. "I don't know Prof. Kravig, but I am sure you have guessed the reason already," I said, and he nodded grimly.

Soon, we reached the conference rooms, which filled with an aura of Tyrants; twenty-somethings Tyrants had already gathered here, including all seven councilmembers and headmistress, the only person who seemed missing Prof. Josephine.

In the center of conference rooms, there is a head table which has eighteen seats, other than councilmembers and headmistress, other important people also sitting there with two s.p.a.ces empty, with my and professors Josephines names on it..

"Successor, take your seat." Councilwoman Marla said; I nodded and took a teacher besides Teacher with my name on it.

"Headmistress, you can begin," Old women Marla said. Teacher nodded and stood up from her spot. "Most of you have already guessed, the dreadful news we have been dreading for the months have arrived," the Teacher said in and clear, loud voice.

"The Human Race has declared war on the Grimm invaders, and by evening, all the contested minor continent will be engulfed in war," Teacher said.

There was no surprise on anyone's face; they all had guessed it already when the council had summoned them in a hurry.

"The Pyramid Council and all its members have affirmed and voted for the war and granted the t.i.tle of Lord Commander to Lady Hera; she had been given access to use any forces possessed by every human organization as well as the forces of Pyramid itself," Teacher said.

Grand Commander t.i.tle is a big thing; even during the wars, it is rarely given the t.i.tle, most of the time lower t.i.tle were given. The pyramid council and its members giving lady Hera the second-biggest military t.i.tle with sweeping powers means things are very serious.

As everyone silently thinking, Councilwomen Marla had stood up. "As academy const.i.tution, we, the council have enacted the warring powers handed to us and bestowed the headmistress access to deploy all the personal of the academy including secrete forces at her pleasure," She informed and looked at all Tyrants for objection, and n.o.body objected.

"With the powers granted to me by the council, I am issue the summon order calling the hidden and unhidden forces, as well as all the members of Academy venturing outside," Teacher declared, and multiple screens popped out in front of her, and she placed her palm on them.

"The grand commander will issue her first address in fourteen minutes. If anyone of you have any questions, you can ask," Councilwomen marla said to all the Tyrants.

These thirty-some Tyrants are not the only Tyrants we have, but they are the most important ones; they could say to be most core forces of the academy, leaving some hidden Tyrants and experts who are outside, like Prof. Jenkins, who had returned to Orcoz city after she finished with the business of Mystique Garden.

"How bad is that war is going to be? They have given Lady Hera power of Grand Commander, in the last war century ago, they have only given the head of Pyramid, the Lord Commander t.i.tle, and they had not upgraded it, even when the war had become intense," Ask a thin man in early forties.

"I don't know how bad the war is going to be, Harkens, but one this is sure, it is going to be far more intense than the one we had fought centuries ago, it might even eclipse the Grand War we had fought four hundred years ago," Teacher replied.

Hearing the atmosphere of the conference room had become heavy, some Tyrants even shook visibly; even I am using all my willpower to stop myself from shaking.

People are scared, h.e.l.l I am scared; war is destructive, and a huge amount of people die in it. In the last big war century ago, nearly four hundred million people had died, in the last grand war four hundred years ago, nine hundred million died and last in the last ear war three thousand years ago, the number had reached over four billion.

Forget armies, whole continents full of people get slaughtered; these people understood reality, and some like councilman Theron here had fought in it their younger days. People do not wish it to happen, but they understand it is a reality and a necessity.

"The deployment orders will begin soon, right?" Another Tyrant asked, "Yes, within few hours, some members of the academy will start getting their deployments orders," Teacher said with the Grimm tone.

Most people who will get deployment orders will not be sent to the minor continents; the war on minor continents is handled by Pyramid's forces. The deployment would be for the central continents; all the outposts, forts, military bases will be filled with people within days.

The moment the war on the Minor continent reached midway, the war on the central continent would begin; it would be far more intense and destructive than one could imagine.

The war on minor continents was fought by knights, while the hidden battles between dukes and kings occurred regularly. The Tyrants also fight, but on a much rarer scale, while in central continents, Tyrants are the main force.

Here lower-level warriors only as much good as Tyrants that are supporting them from behind; once the Tyrant died or ran away, the opposing Tyrant will slaughter the whole army, and with their power, it is not a hard thing to do.
