Chapter 1920 - Return
"Where were you? Do you know how worried you people have made me?" These are the first words we heard from the Teacher as we came back to the academy.
She had met us at the teleportation formation and brought us to her office silently before exploding in anger now.
"Micheal, I could understand; he is young and bound to make mistakes, but you councilwomen, I had not expected this type of behavior from you, especially in times like this," Teacher said as she ma.s.saged her temple in worry.
"Calm down, little girl; you should ask where we went first," Old women said, hearing that she looked at the councilwomen directly in the eyes that even old women seemed a little scared by it. "And where you went, Councilwomen? The place you were so busy that you could not even send a simple message to tell me about it," the Teacher asked.
"Mystic Garden," The old woman said, and an expression of shock appeared on the face of the teacher; she got so shocked that she was not able to think straight for a couple of seconds.
"M…Mystic Garden, you are not joking, are you?" She asked back, and her expression looked like she could not believe it. "No, its no joke," the old woman said before she turned toward me with a twinkle in her eyes, seeing that, seeing that I did not get a good feeling.
"Your student had found it years ago but only decided to reveal now," She said, and the teacher turned into me..
"I had found it years ago and that time, I did consider it special but did not think it was that special; if you guys have told me about the Mystic Garden, I would have connected the dots and told you all about it," I said, though it is a lie.
I wanted to get a go at it one more time before I revealed it to others; first, I planned to go at it after the champions.h.i.+p was over, but many things came, and that did not happen. It did not happen even when I reached the Emperor stage as things came.
If not for me being in great need of those fruits, I would not have gone to the garden before I reached the Tyrant stage.
"We are not blaming you, Micheal, and as you implied, it is partially our fault. If we had told you about it, you would have told us about it sooner," Teacher said, seeing the guilty expressions that flashed on my face.
"Thank you, teacher," I said while flas.h.i.+ng a look to the old woman.
"Mystic Garden is a big thing, and by law, we would have to report it to the Pyramid within a year, and I ȧssume the Mystic Garden is in your native Silver Continent," the Teacher said, and I nodded.
"It would have been no problem year ago, even half a year ago, but now it is quite tricky," Teacher said with a sigh, "You guys were quite lucky for not getting discovered, but we won't be if we want to go to the lower continent again; Pyramid and Grimm Monsters are filling the continents with huge sensors," she added with regret.
"You don't have to worry about that little girl; you, the little student, have something that could help us fool those sensors, even I am surprised by those artifacts he had made," The old woman said; both of them looked at me.
"Really! Micheal, do you really have a way?" the teacher asked with her eyes s.h.i.+ning in
"There is a way, but I need Artros Pearls or something similar resource to carve the formations," I said with a sigh. The two pearls we had nearly spent, they could not be used further. If someone uses them, there is a huge chance they will get detected as soon as they breach the spatial layer of the lower continent.
"You don't have to worry about Artros Pearls; we have them. Councilmen Rufus had found a ċhėst of them in the ruin he went a decade ago," Teacher said excitedly.
"Yes, I remember. Wasn't it the time when he had poison himself with a strange thing there which had turned his pink," "He really looked an old pig, I can't believe I had forgotten about that," Said the old woman suddenly and started laughing.
"Being poison is not a thing to laugh at Councilwoemn Marla," Teacher said admonis.h.i.+ngly, "Oh come on, Marina, as if you did not think he looked like an old pig when you saw him all pink," old women said while laughing hard.
I could tell the teacher was trying not to laugh, but her expressions were slipping.
"We could only let only extremly trusty people know about it, that left the only council and few other people," the teacher muttered to herself before she turned to old women again, who had stopped laughing.
"Councilwomen Marla, I will give that responsibility to you," Teacher said; the old women nodded. "Such criteria could only fit around twenty people at most, including the members of council and you headmistress," Old women said and projected a list from her holowatch, which she did not let me see.
"We have to send the people there as soon as possible before the war begins, and we should not send more than two people at once for the safety purpose," Old women said, and the teacher nodded.
"We will need at least twenty-four of your little gadgets and two by the end of the day. Will you be able to make them successor?" old women asked.
"Yes, it would not be a problem, but I do not have on thirty orbs; the main material would be finished after that," I said. The main material I am talking about is Rule Bending power, and I don't want to reveal I have something like that, even to the teacher.
"Thirty is more than enough for the Mystic Garden, but it would be amazing if you could make more of those orbs. Those orbs of yours are amazing things, especially in these times," old woman while she typed something on her holowatch.
