Huh? Purpose of life? And they said self improvement? What does that even mean? We exist to only improve ourselves? What? If that's what they want it to be, then go ahead. I'm okay with that. More importantly, do we need a reason to exist? We are here, and that's what matters most in the end, right? Why worry about why we're here? What are we going to do with that information, anyway? Hey, have you ever solved the problem of our existence? Is our existence a problem? I don't think it is. I don't think it's necessarily a good thing, either. Like I said earlier, we're just here. So I think it's best to make the most out of it. Live your life to the fullest, because you're the protagonist of your own reality! Even if others may influence you, in the end, you're the only one who can make decisions for yourself. Make sure to have fun responsibly!
Even if you have fun, though, responsibilities are key. I don't think I should be one to talk about this kinda thing, but... responsibilities are the key to fun!
Ugh... even saying that out loud makes me feel terrible inside. Studying is my biggest responsibility at the moment, and I don't think I can take it much longer... but I must press on! I know I can have much more fun later in life if I'm successful here!
The system we have here is great. And yes, I am referring to the Operator as well as the education system. Work hard now, live life to the fullest later. That's how it should be! I feel pretty bad for anyone who has to struggle their whole life simply due to the circ.u.mstances they were dealt at birth. We're really fortunate, aren't we? All of us here. Even though I can't really remember too much of my past, I'm sure our parents put in great effort to send us here. I realize how expensive and prestigious the academy is, and I want to do my best not to waste my family's efforts! It's like an investment, right? They invested in me, and I'll be worth much more in the future! That's the hope, anyway. Even though what I said is true, something's still bugging me... ueh...
Hey, do you want to know a secret? I was aiming to be the top student here. And with my magic affinity, I didn't thing it was going to be too much of a challenge. But that guy! Beat me! Ugh! It's so humiliating, yet so humbling at the same time. I know now that I need to work much, much harder to realize a comfortable life in the future!... Although that may be a bit of an exaggeration... Second place at Akth Academy isn't really too bad, now, is it? Not nearly as pleasing to the eye as first place, but I'm sure I'll be successful in the future.
What? It's not a secret? Ugh... Was it that obvious? Aw, man... Well, as long as he's - no, all of us - are here, we can make our student life more entertaining, right? And live life to the fullest while being responsible, mhm! Let's all succeed at life!

Aya Khan:
Hm... the purpose of life? Well, there could be many things, but if I had to choose something... hm... it'd definitely be... selfless service. I'd say that if there was one thing we had to do in life, it would be to leave the world in a better state than when we entered it. What did those two say? Improving yourself? Well, I guess that could work. I do think those two are a little selfish when it comes to that, but I'm sure they'll come around someday. If you get better at helping others, that would be the ultimate win in life, would it not?
That's a big reason I'm here... Being renowned as a genius is okay. And to be honest... it really is quite flattering... but in the end, I'd like to use my capabilities to give back to those who are less fortunate. Even though it's quite clear that my immediate family is doing quite well for themselves, since I'm attending such a prestigious school and all, the truth is that my ancestry isn't so pretty. Where and how some of my extended family lives at the moment... it really does make me quite sad. And it's even sadder that there are others like them out there in the universe... and then there are those living in even poorer conditions. Even though I'm not familiar with many who would fall under that category, I know for a fact they definitely exist. The expanse is vast, after all.
And I know it's impossible to achieve perfection... it's something we're constantly reminded of. It's impossible to help absolutely everyone due to many different circ.u.mstances... but I still want to try. I want to use my prestigious position... that I'm very fortunate to have, by the way... to pull others out of the darkness. I want others' worlds to have a bit of hope in them. Especially for those who can't see any way out. I want to provide a path to greatness. A path to a brighter tomorrow. Who doesn't want to live in better circ.u.mstances than the ones they currently have?
But... I kind of do see where those two are coming from... in a way. In order to help others, you must first help yourself. If you're not a good person yourself, how are you going to help others become better? My parents are a good example of this. They didn't have much to effort to spare when raising me, and I think they did a good job. They taught me right from wrong, which I think is the most important thing anyone can know. They weren't in a position to be able to serve the community, but they definitely helped me develop to where I am now. And now, once I graduate, I'll be able to do many things that no one in my family could ever dream of. It really is a blessing... It's really satisfying to know that I can achieve what my parents would have loved to do. And I'm sure they are, as well. The prime of their life is over, and I think they've succeeded. They pa.s.sed the torch off to me to create a brighter tomorrow for everyone.

Milo Orlas:
Ooh, the purpose of life? What kind of mad question is that? The Dark Lord Milo declares!... There is none. Why are we here? h.e.l.l if I know. You want me to come up with some really profound message for you all? Do whatever you want. Like I said, none of it matters, anyway. We are all born. We all die. That includes the universe. It has a beginning, and it will have an end. Only infinity has no beginning or end, and I don't think infinity exists. If it does... I still think there's no purpose to life. How would we discover infinity, anyway? We won't be able to prove it, so I'm going to say it doesn't exist. It's merely a mathematical concept - a ploy created by the universe's overlords to glue us to our glorified desks for as long as possible.
What did those two say again? Self-improvement? Haha. Merely an empty challan. A big nothing! What a waste of time. If only those two knew what their efforts would amount to in the end. Nothing, I say. The void will consume all. Emptiness all around. Even emptier than the heads of my family back home. That's how scary the apocalypse will be. I just hope no one will be around to witness it.
If you want to talk about memories, even those are rendered useless in the scope of the lifespan of the universe. Some say that people live as long as they're remembered. Historical deeds may be done, and whether they were viewed in a positive or negative light, they will all be forgotten eventually. So what if some people are remembered exponentially longer than others? Our entire universe will be rendered null eventually. Nothing lives forever. I bet not even our G.o.d does. Even if we did, what are we to G.o.d, anyway?
Call me sacrilegious, but all that c.r.a.p about G.o.d creating us? Come on, man. Does G.o.d even exist? Is anything holy? Life certainly isn't special. There's so much of it in the universe that the worlds would probably be better off without us. I mean, look how much havoc some peoples have wreaked. Despite the fact that there are those who attempt to do good for the worlds, everything is offset in the end. If you clean up a mess, someone else will make a new one. No matter how much you try to correct our society, there will always be rogues running around trying to screw everything up.
As for success or failure in life, don't even think about it. After all, success and failure are concepts that we as humans have created to feel good about ourselves. At the most basic level, if you've survived long enough to procreate and reach an old age, you've succeeded. And even then, that's not really the case. Like I said in the beginning. Everything is due to die. Even how long you've lived is a useless statistic in the overall scope of things.
This is a waste of time. I'm out of here. Goodbye.

Zoltan Ebrahim:
Ha ha ha, the purpose of life, eh? Don't we all have a legacy? What's left behind after we die? Don't tell me it's a big pile of nothing! I can already see who would say that. That guy needs to lighten up a little! Not everything in life is as dark as he makes it out to be. Maybe his affinity is getting to him? Ha ha ha!
That aside, those two said life is for yourself to live?
The gents need to realize... 'tis not enough just to live *your* life! You have to give something back as well! Give back as much as you were given, if not more! You know, nothing's free in this world, so you can't just run off with stuff people give you! That is what I believe.
And in order to achieve this, one must become strong - strong enough to bear the responsibilities of the world, both mentally and physically. One must be strong enough to protect those who are dear! To leave a legacy, there are ideas and people you must protect! Only then can you pa.s.s on peacefully. Only then have you truly succeeded at life.
Of course, we all have a long way to go before we achieve this. But that's what makes life so fun, is it not? You can't succeed at life at the mere age of a tertiary school student! That's when life is just beginning! There's a whole universe out there for us to explore! A whole universe of different beings and ideas. Use them to your advantage. Strengthen your own point of view! Strengthen your combat ability! And with those, defend the ideologies you believe to be righteous.
Let's all try to get everyone on the same moral compa.s.s! Proselytize your beliefs! s.h.i.+ne truth upon the world! Once everyone knows right from wrong, we can have a platform for discussion. But until then, might makes right!
That girl... she's truly a beacon for the future. A potential light for those who struggle in the depths of despair. Who can say no to someone like that? I'm truly glad there's someone so close to me worth protecting. Her parents truly did a great job calibrating her moral compa.s.s - knowing right from wrong is one of the most important things in life.
Of course, a legacy shan't last but a few generations! Oh, no no no! Those who are successful last for many lifetimes through the spread of their ideas and a strong backing! Even if I say their ideas aren't worth fighting for, they're just doing what they believe is right! And there's no shame in that! I daresay it's even praiseworthy! Alas, there are many out there who do not know the truth, and I pray that everyone can know what's best in the future.
