Just how rich was Lamir? Ren thought.
He guessed being a member of the main family that controlled half of the World's oil, and mineral resources wouldn't bat an eyelid about buying twenty slots.
Ren was thinking of asking for his help with Evie but decided against the idea. He was Evie's fianc, and even if Lamir and Evie didn't like each other in a romantic way, he got his pride to uphold.
If he could do it with his own powers, why ask for help? It would only make him feel that he wasn't worthy of Evie's hands.
However, if push comes to shove, then maybe he would. Ren would never choose his pride over Evie. But until he could do it, he would do it with his own strength.
Ren then refocused on the other players on his list. Upon checking, he was surprised when he saw Roz's name on the list and the annoying group of teenagers that Lily, sister of Scar, was leading.
Lily's group knew his merchant self, but maybe if he didn't summon Pii around them, then all would be good.
After all, by this point in time, everyone got access to rare and legendary equipment by now. Who knows, they might be other cloaks and helmets that could hide appearance now.
Ren wasn't as conceited to say that he knew all of the equipment, just the important and generic ones.
After taking down notes, it was time to prepare for the journey.
The first thing that Ren did when the tickets were sold out was to announce the meeting place and time for the meet-up.
Ren only gave the guild and players a day of in-game time to prepare. At eight in the evening, in real time later, they would set out to the Fey Realm.
Every minute counts, so Ren didn't want to waste time by dilly-dallying about the preparation. He also made sure that he prepared himself because once inside the Fey Realm, he could no longer access the items in his storage bank.
The Fey Realm was going to be a dungeon at this point until he cleared the quest. Until then, it would work as a dungeon.
The quest [Fey Realm] was fairly simple as long as he followed the storyline and clues. Ren was confident he could do it after his successful soloing the quest [Save Eldermill].
So his main concern right now was his limited inventory which he already addressed with Hubert.
Ren logged into the game and went directly to HQ. There was no one in the HQ right now. It must be because everyone was preparing to enter the lands of the Fey while the others were busy with the missions.
Alice was, of course, was loud as usual. She greeted Ren with a bright welcome and barraged of questions about Evie.
Sometimes Ren had wondered if it was better if he sent Alice away. Better yet, exorcise her so she wouldn't be a hindrance to others.
That seemed like a good plan.
"Speak to me, Ren!"
"Are you and Evie still together?!"
"How is she?! Tell me all about the status of your relationship! Just talk to me! I need to know, or I'll die!"
"You're already dead."
"I'm perfectly alive, thank you very much!" Alice's eyes bulged about the size of her face. "So what's the real deal? Is Evie coming back here?"
"Of course she is."
"Ahuh! So you're still together?!"
"We didn't break up."
"But what did I hear that Evie has a fianc? Is that true?"
Ren ignored Alice's rambling and went out of the HQ and went directly to where Hubert's Shop was.
"Ah, Ren. How's it going?" Hubert greeted. "I could hear Alice's loud voice all the way from here."
"Don't mind her, and I'm fine, by the way. Do you have what I requested?"
Hubert's smile dropped. "Unfortunately, that kind of thing is beyond my capabilities. I tried to create this pouch that would at least hold a thousand items, but the darn thing just kept on breaking."
Hubert sighed, and his shoulders slumped. "I'm really not the gnome for this. I can't make other stuff except for duds and mechanical upgrades. I'm sorry, Ren."
Ren was disappointed, but he didn't show it. His face remained neutral as he said with an even voice, "It's fine. I'm not even sure if something like that exists."
With the limited slot of his inventory and the bank features disabled in the lands of the Fey, Ren felt like he could only bring so much. Who knows how many dangers and trials awaited him there, and bringing only x999 items seemed so few to him, especially that it wasn't accumulated.
Not to mention if he had suddenly found or was rewarded with rare equipment during his adventuring and didn't have space in his inventory. He would have to trash other items to make way, just so he could use those items during important fights or events.
Though he didn't have to worry about excess items since they would automatically transfer to his bank, the problem was, he couldn't retrieve them during his time in the Fey Realm. If he wanted to use them, it had to be stored in his inventory.
He was hoping that maybe Hubert could create something like an additional pocket for Storage to keep him at ease.
What to do?
Ren was in a dilemma about this. He was even thinking of buying hundreds of status effects Duds and hundreds more of potions.
But now . . .
"If I may," Hubert chimed in, disrupting Ren's thoughts. "If you know someone who is proficient in space magic, then he might know a way to help you."
"Space magic?"
"It's not like those alien things, don't get me wrong." Hubert snickered. "It's that kind of magic that could control space like tearing a dimensional rift out of thin air. There is such a thing called Dimensional Storage, after all. And I heard you can put anything in there without limit."
"Space Magic?" Ren uttered. "Where would I find . . . Ren trailed off when a certain memory came into his mind.
It was then that he suddenly thought of that time when Princess Elena opened a rift in space to get to the Elven Palace in no time.
Could it be . . .
"Thank you for the tip, Hubert," said Ren, and he immediately went to the Elven Realm to meet with the Princess.
