Chapter 778: Would She Get Beaten Up By The Fans?
**
In the blink of an eye, it was time for the concert.
The concert was held at an open-air soccer stadium which could house more than 10 000 guests. The rehearsals were at 7:30 pm and the official concert commenced at 8:00 pm.
Tong Yu gave Huo Yao a ticket. She arrived at the stadium at 7:00 pm and found the seat she was assigned.
She raised her head to glance around the stadium before she raised her brow slightly.
The zone she was located in had the best seats in the house and was situated right at the center. If she was sitting further up front, the lighting effects would have gotten into her eyes. The seats behind were a little further and she would have trouble seeing the performance clearly.
The stadium was already filled with fans. Everyone was holding banners and lightsticks and took the affair seriously.
Huo Yao looked down at her empty hands. She did not come with a banner, let alone a light stick. She felt very awkward and appeared like a fake fan.
Huo Yao pressed her forehead. She wondered if the fans would beat her up for this.
She was not wearing a mask today. Although her picture was posted online, it was removed later, so very few people knew what she looked like.
Before long, her phone vibrated in her pocket. She took out the phone and saw it was a text message from Tong Yu asking if she had arrived.
She quickly replied and told him she was here.
After Tong Yu heard back from her, he turned to look at Huo Xiang as he did his final rehearsal. He waved the stage manager over. “Is everything ready?”
The stage manager nodded. “It’s all set.”
Tong Yu acknowledged gently and patted the stage manager on his back. “I am counting on you to take care of the show.”
“You are too kind. It’s my job.” The stage manager smiled before looking at his colleagues who were busy adjusting the aerial drones nearby. “Let me go check on the drones one more time.”
“Sure.” Tong Yu waved his hand.
Before long, Huo Xiang wrapped up the rehearsals. He took a towel from the assistant and wiped his sweat as he walked over to Tong Yu.
Tong Yu handed him a bottle of mineral water. “The fans are here already. After you are done with your makeup, the show can start.”
“Uh huh.” Huo Xiang drank some water before he asked. “Here yet?”
Tong Yu raised his brow. “Of course. You can trust me.”
Huo Xiang glanced at him without saying a word before he turned to enter the changing room with his assistant.
Tong Yu shook his head. He received a text notification, so he checked it before calling the assistant over. “Do you have spare banners and lightsticks?”
“Nope.” The assistant shook his head. A thought crossed his mind and he continued. “The fan club leader might have more. Do you want some? I will go ask.”
Tong Yu nodded. “Go ask around. If you manage to find any, send it to section A. Someone is waiting for you there.”
“Okay,” acknowledged the assistant before looking for the fan club leader.
After obtaining the banner and lightstick, he headed over to the area in section A.
Huo Yao was waiting in the corridor. The place was not very crowded at this time. Although the assistant had never spoken to Huo Yao before, he instantly recognised her when he saw her face.
The assistant thought about the concert and composed himself before giving the things to Huo Yao politely.
