A burning building. A tower had fallen not so long ago, now a man's face was all that was left. Beneath the rubble, only a crippled body.
"Who would have thought? I, Tane Vermillion, Emperor of the Phoenix Empire, would die from a failed ascension attempt." With a single tear laying static, unaffected by the movement of the lashes appended to his eyelids, his vision began to blur.
So what if you won countless wars. In the end, you are a blank slate; filled with nothing but words. There is no content. Just countless achievements. An endless list of comrades lost, and man who saw it all.
"So let it be."

One of the most feared people in history died that day. But can fate allow for such a waste of potential? What if fate if there is no plan? Blind chance.
A flash of light could very well appear before you in your time of demise. Like a voice of deceit, telling you to follow it to the depths of the abyss; or a pitying supreme that sees an opportunity for greatness.
In the paramount terms of mortality, you are but an ant. But by making use of the little resources you have, a path to ascension lies in wait.
Love? War? Riches? Power? Everything is within your grasp.
You just need to wait...
"Child of mine. Know my name. I am Virtua, your Mother Supreme. I take pity on you so I bestow on you one more chance to ascend past mortality. What you were before is now irrelevant, you are now my banner. Raise your head high and bring glory to my name, Tanya Sera Vermillion."
Until a voice comes down upon you.
And tells you to continue.
"Where am I?" From the depths of an infinite abyss, the silhouette of a human floated aimlessly, dodging the debris of the void.
"So this is death? Now I have nothing left to fear."
"I have witnessed everything I need to."
FLASH
A blinding light flashed once, igniting the void.
"Come."
FLASH
Nothing else could be seen. Pure light to destroy the endless darkness.
And now…
'Where is this place?'
You just…
"It's a girl!!!"
have to…
"Her name will be Tanya!"
Open your eyes.
"WAAAAAHHHH!!!"
"Lady Seraphina, you have done an amazing job!" A woman dressed in a maid's dress jumped up and down in excitement.
"Please keep the noise down…" A vermillion hair woman of the fairest skin and most beautiful features let out a sigh of contentment. After an hour, she had finally brought her child into the world.
The maid glanced at the baby and smiled warmly. Something about seeing such a cute child made her feel warm inside.
'Am I a child?' A whisper in Tanya's head echoed and echoed, prompting her to once again cry.
'Why am I in so much pain?'

'What happened to my status?! I worked so hard and now it's like this?!'
"WAAAH!"
'I'M NOT EVEN A MAN NOW!!!'
'I knew I should have just waited a little longer… maybe I could have just avoided that disaster if I was more careful…'
"Oh little Tanya, please don't cry. Mama is here to feed you whenever you want. Please don't cry."
"Emm!"
'I'm choking! I'm choking! Stop trying to kill me!'
"WAAAAAAHHHH!"
"Aaaawww… such a beautiful girl. Truly destined to be the crown prince's wife." A handsome middle aged man wearing n.o.ble clothes and a single monocle approached Tanya with a warm smile.
"Tanya, this is papa." Seraphina directed Tanya's gaze to the man.
"Wonderful. The wait was more than worth it. Little Benjamin will be excited to see his little sister! When can she leave?" The father talked faster than bullets, speeding away in his own excitement. Fatherhood wasn't anything new to him, but the prospect of having a daughter brightened his day.
'Do I not get a say in any of this? Why should I have to just watch as my life is planned out for me? I am an emperor!!!'
Tanya continued crying despite trying to voice out her argument as hard as she could possibly try.
"A healthy child."
"A healthy child indeed."
"A beautiful little girl."
'You mean a handsome young gentleman.'
