Frozen Island was about 100km away from the City of Coldland.

It was inhabited by dangerous Mutated Beasts, and each one of them can cause a lot of havoc among civilians.

Fury Beasts are about Martial Captain and Peak Martial Commander level in strength that alone is terrifying existence, and there are hundreds of them on that island!

But gladly, there is Martial General guarding the island.

And if some of the Beasts escape. People from Coldland will get that news very quickly, and since it's 100km away, the Beasts will take some time before they arrive there, and Coldland would have already gathered their fighters to exterminate the Beasts.

The Frozen Island itself is quite large, around 100km in diameter, filled with snow forests, snowy mountains, and cold weather.

It is a place where ordinary fellows can't go, and no ordinary fellow even wants to go there!

But it's the perfect place for training for Martial Arts Practitioners.

About 12 hours later.

Ichiro reached Frozen Island.

He ran most of the journey, and that's why he was one of the first ones to arrive.

There is always a certain time when you can enter Frozen Island. You can't always enter because the Martial General needs to be present if someone wants to enter.

It's, of course own fault if you die there, but the Mutated Beasts get very angry if humans enter the island, that's why they need Martial General because the Mutated Beasts most likely will attack.

There was a tall electronic fence surrounding Frozen Island, and a large fortress was on the south side of the Island it was the army base.

The reason why the army base is only on the south side of the island is because the Mutated Beasts can't leave the island from anywhere else. There are large mountains covering the north and east sides, but there is nothing on the west side.

But... The ice on the west side is very fragile, and the heavy Beasts will fall to the water and die.

Ichiro walked towards the guard post, where a man with heavy winter clothing was already waiting.

The man had handsome facial features with a well-defined jaw, straight nose, and sharp eyebrows. He had auburn-colored hair with heavy winter clothing, which had the logo of an army on the jacket.

The handsome man looked very stoic and serious while doing his job.

He narrowed his eyes as a young man was walking towards the guard post.

Ichiro was wearing heavy winter clothing, a scarf, and a hoodie was covering his face, which made his facial features hidden.

That's why no one in the harbor noticed who he was.

Only his age was clearly visible.

The handsome man could determine that Ichiro was less than 20 years old, which made him curious who the young man is.

Or is the young man simply suicidal?

Ichiro stopped in front of the guard post, and behind the guard post were the gates to the fortress.

Massive steel walls covered the interior of the fortress, at least 50 meters in height.

Ichiro put his hand on the pocket and tried to find the paper Abyss gave.

The handsome man became serious. It isn't the first time someone attacked him during guard duty.

But his worries were to no avail because Ichiro took a paper from the pocket and gave it to him.

The handsome man took the paper and looked at it.

His serious face became pale until it became shocked!

His hands were trembling, and sweatdrops trickled down his well-defined face.

He took quick glance towards the young man and gulped.

*Beep*

The handsome man pressed the blue button next to him, and the gates behind him were opened.

''You may enter.'' The handsome man said with a shaky tone.

Ichiro nodded and entered the Fortress.

Instantly after he left, the handsome man dialed a number.

He called the Martial General that Abyss sent someone!

Ichiro looked around the fortress and saw soldiers exercising, talking with others, or simply doing their duties.

There were also people who looked completely different from soldiers.

They wore heavy winter clothing but also looked like they were injured...

They were sitting around the small table next to the small building, and they looked pale as a sheet.

Ichiro could tell that one of the injured men was Martial Commander! And yet, he was injured badly.

He had bandages covering his left eye and a cast on his right arm.

Ichiro grabbed his bag tighter and entered a small building not far from him.

The Fortress has about 50 buildings.

They are mostly cafeterias, armories, living quarters, and places for Army Officers.

Ichiro entered the registration building.

A sweet-looking young woman was sitting at a desk, while four soldiers were sitting in the spacious room.

Ichiro walked towards the sweet-looking young woman, who noticed his arrival.

She had brunette hair with auburn highlights. Her face was very innocent, with baby fat still visible on her cheeks, and she could be mistaken as 16 or 17s years old, but since she was working here, it means she is at least 18. Her body was quite petite and short.

She was sitting on the chair, and her feet could barely touch the ground.

Ichiro took off his hoodie, and finally, his facial features were revealed.

''Hey, I am here to get my living quarters,'' Ichiro said.

He looked towards the adorable young woman, who wasn't moving.

Her brown eyes were fixated on Ichiro's face.

''Hello..?'' Ichiro tilted his head, and finally, the young woman woke from her stupor.

''I-I-I s-see... Umm... Living quarters, yes!'' The sweet young woman started going through the cabinets clumsily and grabbed a key with number 1.

''Here!'' The young woman said in a hurry and offered him the key.

Ichiro grabbed the key and nodded.

He turned around and left the building, not noticing the hostile gazes from nearby soldiers.

Ichiro went straight towards his living quarters and arrived at a large house with the letter 1 on it.

He entered the house and was surprised.

It was much larger than he anticipated.

There was a kitchen, large living room, one bedroom, bathroom, and backyard.

It was a one-floor building, but it was much better than Ichiro expected.

Ichiro put his bag on the ground and went to take a shower.

He wasn't aware how big of a turmoil his arrival caused for the Officers of the Army.

First, the news of him was sent by Abyss.

And second, his identity was revealed in the registration building.

They now know...

That they can't let this young man die!

Otherwise, all hell will break loose!
