Arcana struggled to lift the heavy firewood with both hands, wobbling as she made her way to the fireplace.

Anos glared at the men with his Magic Eyes.

The men opened their mouths, revealing their sharp fangs.

They spat out scorching hot flames from the depths of their throats, burning Anos.

spells now offered no defense. Consumed by the jet-black suns, the men were reduced to cinders in an instant.

Anos wrapped his arm around the trembling Arcana, pulling her close.
