Chapter 242

(This chapter isn't edited yet)

Looking at the burning corpses in front of him, Noah was pleased. Rank C blesseds actually gave more stats than lesser blesseds.

In just a few minutes Noah had killed 4 blessed Rank C, which earned him several extra points.

s

Nine stat points! A great number. For a moment Noah even considered becoming a mercenary to kill other Blesseds and get more stat points, but on the other hand, burning monster corpses in Rank C strongholds might be faster and easier than killing blessed ones.

Another thing that caught Noah's attention was when he noticed how many experience points he needed to reach level 05.

'Less than 50 points...maybe if I kill all these blessed weaklings here I'll get those points...but our difference is too big, will it work? The blessed Rank E that I killed on the way here have earned me almost no experience points... what do I do?' Noah wondered.

He didn't want to leave with so few experience points missing. Since he was already here, it was better to find a way to get the missing points and level up at once, after all, he was curious about the next skill he would receive.

Perhaps with this ability he could speed up even more the speed of rising in rank and even more quickly rising to Rank B.

As Noah wondered what to do, his Pyakugan immediately noticed a very fast movement coming from his shadow.

Without wondering what was going on, Noah immediately teleported to the other side of the room and looked at the place the attack was leaving.

But in that a crisis situation arose from him, because even if he teleported the attack did not stop, even changing position the dagger that came out of his shadow still moved at high speed before going through the fire armor he was wearing and digging a deep wound in Noah's abdomen.

Noah didn't have time to complain about the pain of the attack, there was only one method of getting rid of the person in his shadow, and that method was his specialty.

"Let there be light!" Noah yelled.

As soon as his voice left, the entire armor began to glow with the flames from Noah's body.

In a split second, that glow grew even more intense to the point of overflowing, and gradually fire began to pour out of Noah's armor.

What started out as tiny sparks coming out of the armor, in a few seconds turned into a representation of a bursting dam, but instead of water it was flames.

Noah didn't even think about what he was doing, he just knew that where there was fire there would be no shadow, so he should just flood this room with fire.

Shadow S, who was in Noah's shadow, was horrified. He never imagined that his target would turn into an erupting volcano.

Without a shadow, he was forced back to reality, leaving himself completely exposed to Noah's flames.

Amidst Shadow S's screams, a notification came to Noah's ears.

[Ding...]

But Noah didn't even pay attention to that notification.

For some reason, what was once just a weird strategy to try and get rid of Shadow S using the large surplus mana he had from burning these blesseds all over the building, now for some reason it had become a weirdly great feeling.

As if Noah had stepped into a comfortable hot spring on a cold winter's day.

All the cold he'd previously felt was gone, giving way to the incredible feeling of a warm, luscious hug.

Noah didn't know how long he had been immersed in this feeling, only when he felt his energy was finally depleting did he stop producing the flames and returned to his normal state.

s

Looking around confused, Noah noticed that everything around him had been burned, the walls were black, the floor was black, the corpses and furniture had turned to ash.

Only one thing remained at Noah's feet, with only slight signs of burn.
