When the spirit beasts who had rushed in got a whiff of the human scent, they immediately charged towards the array. However, because they were blocked, they started to attack the protective array non stop.

"Eldest Sis, is this reliable?"

"That's right. He's so young, will he be able to set up a teleportation array?"

The requirements for one to become a teleportation array master were relatively high. It required one to be able to tear a hole through s.p.a.ce, so many array masters were not able to set up teleportation arrays.

"What else can we do aside from believing in him?" Guo Pei Pei asked.

It was not a problem for her to bash out on her own. However, it would definitely be difficult for her to bring her clan out with her.

"Crash-"

The Divine Beasts attacked the protective array incessantly, and they were surrounded by enraged spirit beasts.

There were a few times where the protective array looked as if it was going to collapse. The Guo clan members looked at the crazed spirit beasts and were so terrified that their hearts were pounding.

However, they took one look at Sima You Yue and saw that this guy was still setting up the teleportation array in such a carefree and leisurely manner!

"If I knew earlier on that there would be so many Divine beasts, I would have set up the Sima Clan's great protective array. Then I wouldn't have to make something so troublesome like a teleportation array." Sima You Yue grumbled while setting it up.

"You Yue, it's not going to hold on much longer." Wei Zi Qi said.

Sima You Yue placed the last array stone into its respective place and said, "Alright everyone, come over."

Everyone stood beside her as she quickly activated the array because she saw that the array had started to shake.

The moment the light of the teleportation array enveloped everyone, the protective array crumbled.

The Divine beasts charged over. However, the merely managed to roar once before everyone disappeared right in front of them.

"Roar-" A single divine beast was faster that the rest, and, with its claw, caught on to the teleportation array and disappeared along with it.

In an area far away from the valley, the group of them fell from the sky in a heap.

"Screech-"

Before anyone had time to react, they heard the sound of a sword slicing through a body.

Everyone looked to where the sound had come from, and realised Guo Pei Pei had stabbed a divine beast right in the heart.

Her spirit powered sword pierced right into the divine beast's body, shattering its heart.

"Eldest Sis?" Guo Liang shouted.

"I sensed this divine beast follow us when we were teleported away." Guo Pei Pei explained.

That was why she had managed to react instantaneously and meet its attack head on once they exited the teleportation array.

"I'm only able to set up a teleportation array that moves us a short distance away. We're not too far from the valley earlier so we should leave quickly. If they discover us again and chase after us, it will be too troublesome." Sima You Yue said.

Asa result, the group of them flew towards the direction opposite of that valley. They ran for an entire night and only stopped when they knew the sun of the second day was up in the sky.

"Everyone should rest here." Sima You Yue said when she felt that the dangers had already pa.s.sed.

"Hu-"

"My inner qi is almost spent after running for an entire night." Fatty Qu said while taking out and eating a pill.

Everyone else took out a pill to eat, and sat down to recover their spiritual qi as well. Sima You Yue sat down at the side, called out Little Roar and Little Roc, asking, "How do you both feel right now?"

"Yue Yue, I'm fine now." Little Roar rolled around in Sima You Yue's embrace and said coquettishly.

"It's fine that you're well." Sima You Yue petted his long ears, turned to Little Roc and asked, "What about you, Little Roc?"

"Master, we had begun recovering the moment we entered the Spirit PaG.o.da. We have already calmed down." Little Roc said.

"Then, are you still able to sense the activity of that Devil's crystal rock here?" Sima You Yue asked.

"Not any more." Little Roc and Little Roar both shook their heads.

"Looks like Mo Sha was right about it not being active in the day time." Sima You Yue said, "Then, we're going to go back to look for the Devil's crystal stone."

"Master, what are we finding that Devil's crystal stone for?" Little Roc didn't understand.

This item was harmful to spirit beasts, so why were they going to look for it?

"Mo Sha said that it's useful. I don't know what he wants it for either." Sima You Yue said.

She told everyone to wait here for her while she went back to the valley to look around. After that, she sat on Little Roc and flew back to the valley.

"Is that a fifth ranked divine four winged flying Roc?"

Yesterday, Little Roc was in disguise, so they couldn't tell what his original body or rank was. Now that they had seen it, they were given a shock.

"A divine beast with the strength on par with a spirit paragon, and is an array master as well. Looks like the people form the Yi Lin continent aren't that bad!" The Guo clan members were are secretly musing.

Little Roc was fast, and the distance they took an entire night to traverse took him little over an hour.

Sima You Yue returned to the valley and looked at the barren rocks, saying, "Looks like we overlooked it when we pitched camp yesterday. At that time, we should have known that something was off since it was completely barren of life, but we overlooked this point."

Every night, the spirit beasts would come here and go crazy. It was no wonder that no living thing could grow.

She walked around the valley but did not see any special roc. She knocked on her bracelet, saying, "Hey, we don't recognise the devil's crystal stone. Do you want to come out and take a look?"

She initially thought that Mo Sha wouldn't reply her, but he actually came out from the devil's snare bracelet after she spoke.

"You're sure that you want this item?" Sima You Yue asked.

Mo Sha closed his eyes and scanned his surroundings, saying, "That's right. It is a devil's crystal stone."

After speaking, he floated over to the centre of the valley.

Every time Sima You Yue saw him this way, it reminded her of a ghost. She couldn't help but curse-

Actually, this d.a.m.ned guy was just a ghost!

However, a curse was just a curse. She still had to follow after him.

Man and ghost came to the centre of the valley and Mo Sha waved his hand, sending a huge boulder flying.

Sima You Yue could feel the amount of power in this one wave of his hand and was speechless. This guy really recovered a fair amount!

When she saw Mo Sha blank out in front of that stone, she asked, "This is the devil's crystal stone?"

"Nope." Mo Sha said.

"Then what are you blanking out in front of it for?"

"Feel like it." Mo Sha replied indifferently.

Eh-

Sima You Yue glared at him and grit her teeth. She really wanted to go up and give him a punch.

What was he messing around for!

Mo Sha really acted as if he had nothing to do, turning around and facing the place where the boulder was.

"Dig here." Mo Sha said.

"Aren't you powerful? Do it yourself!" Sima You Yue sat her b.u.t.t down on the boulder that Mo Sha had sent flying and said with a smile, as she used both hands to support her chin.

"I can only move things. I can't dig." Mo Sha said.

"Benefit." Sima You Yue stretched forth her hand.

"What benefit?" Mo Sha was puzzled.

"Look how much stronger your soul has gotten. You've even gotten stronger. Isn't it because of my efforts? If you said that you were my people, I wouldn't be petty. However, you're going to leave me one day right? So it's a given that I can't lose out. I've given you so many good things and now you want me to work hard for you. Shouldn't you give me some form of benefit?"
