Chapter 1274 - A Shocking Writ Of Challenge! I

As a Reader of the unfolding fantasy within this Reality, Noah thought and moved differently now due to this!

Because of what he knew, he had the privilege of moving forward with confidence without worries of the future it will bring.

Thus, the moment the battle ended in the Cosmic Battlefield...he drew up a Writ of Challenge as the one he targeted this time wasn't a Forefather or Daolord that was given the reins of 100 or even 200 Cosmos!

On the unique Writ of Challenge, he had glanced up the pyramidal structure of power within the House of Stormdust that showed all of the beings one could challenge, Noah going to the very top of this pyramid as he selected the being who stood at the top of this house.

He challenged Stormdust himself! After the initial stupor of such an action causing everyone to be utterly dumbfounded, it felt like space was constantly shattering as existences erupted out in discussion and anger!

"Preposterous! How dare he blemish the name of Family Head and challenge him?! Did the few victories he had go over his head?!"

From the House of Stormdust, an overabundance of anger erupted as the Forefathers and Daolords watching nearly rose to battle Noah right then and there, but they could only stare daggers his way as they waited for orders on what they should do.

The other two Factions were shocked as in the verdant Realm where Halcyon watched everything with Springforge, there was utter silence!

Halcyon's mouth was constantly opening and closing as she seemed to want to say something, but she didn't have the words for it.

"Crazy" Springforge scrutinized the unfurled Writ of Challenge as she spoke while shaking her head, and it was only then that Halcyon came out of her stupor.

"This...it wasn't supposed to go this way" Her golden eyes were hazy as she reviewed everything she knew, where Daolord Osmont should have thrown a challenge against Forefathers that ruled a range of 100-200 Cosmos as he gradually took bites from Stormdust and Havenbreaker.

He shouldn't have jumped across all these Forefathers to challenge the family Head of this House as it meant a challenge that put 1000 Cosmos on the line...and he would have to face the forces of an entire House if this challenge was accepted!

"It is suicide" Springforge said the words that many others were feeling at this moment.

Many thought it to be unwise and even disrespectful to the majesty of the Family Head of Stormdust, but the Writ had been issued regardless.

The person that had done such a shocking action had sat back down with his legs crossed, his eyes nonchalantly reading over a book as if what was happening now didn't concern him!

The Writ of Challenge larger than a Galaxy floated before him as all eyes honed in it.

Stormdust truly did not need to accept this challenge. From just his authority as a Family Head, he didn't have to put in line his 1000 Cosmos for Noah's mere 12 that he oversaw in the Primordial Empire.

If a being blatantly skipped over to challenge those much more powerful, there was no rule in the Primordial Empire preventing this, but they could just be ignored!

The question was...would Daolord Osmont be ignored? Would the disrespect and disregard he showed be let go?! Or would he be made an example of to remind any hot-headed powerhouses in the future that the might of a Family Head was not to be trampled on?

Every single being turned breathless as they locked their gaze on the Writ of Challenge and waited.

Would...such a challenge really be accepted?!

---

Stormdust.

Just how could Noah describe this man?

He was a rather unfortunate being as not only was he born in a Reality that had someone like Aegon, he also happened to be this being's close friend before he was ordained as a Champion!

To watch the man you thought of as your equal be elevated to higher and higher degrees constantly while you groveled for the scraps was truly a repugnant feeling...and it was what pushed Stormdust to do many of the things he did.

Jealousy and envy for what his closest friend had...and it was something he could never achieve.

Not unless he thought outside the box and did something outlandish!

'But to turn to and be influenced by Primordial Beasts? By Hyperion's machinations? Hah!'

Noah's eyes flashed sharply as he recalled the many things he read when he focused on the character of Stormdust for the days to come.

Listening in on the thoughts of others was extremely terrifying when they didn't suspect anything, and reading the events unfolding around these existences akin to a novel gave Noah a unique feeling he couldn't even describe!

As if he had gotten his hands on something he shouldn't have!

"Now, what will you do?"

Against such a challenge, what would this powerful existence that had enacted his own Edict do? The answer was surprisingly simple as Noah activated <Reader's Foresight> and chose the present...with the target being Stormdust.

What he had just done to challenge him was one of the many paths that could play out, and the details Noah could obtain from this path only opened themselves more to him when the nexus actions that caused them unfolded!

Noah's challenge to the Family Head of a faction was considered a nexus event for this particular path, and he could now read just what changes it could bring!

His Primordial Ruination Clone showed nothing as it was his Universal Body that was glowing good as he read from the actual golden book of <Reader's Foresight>.

<...Within a Cosmos filled with trillions of burning suns surrounding a crimson palace in a circular formation.

It was the abode of a great personage- an existence that fearfully stood and influenced one third of the Primordial Empire with his plans and abilities- the one and only Stormdust!

In the vast crimson palace that was larger than most Galaxies, this being sat on a throne as a smiling expression was wiped away from his face, his eyes locking on the glimmering Writ of Challenge that awaited his decision!>
