He slowly moved his arm, which Ha Eun used as a pillow, away from her, making sure not to disturb her sleep. He noticed how his arm had become a light red and how it hurt very badly. He looked back at Ha Eun, then looked forward "The pain was worth it," he whispered.
He started to get dressed and then headed to the bathroom to wash up.
Once out, he decided to wake up Ha Eun. They shouldn't be here much longer; he doesn't want to be a bother to Ha Eun's family. After all, they were just supposed to stay for a few hours, not stay overnight.
He woke up Ha Eun, but she got startled and quickly sat up, then asked, "What happened?" in a half-asleep tone of voice. Since she was in her bathrobe all night, and one tends to twist and turn at night, it was no surprise for the knot on her robe to be undone, but for Chang Wook, it was quite a shock.
She was not wearing a bra, and he got a full view of what he didn't, last night.
"Why is your nose bleeding?" she asked him. She looked down and realized she didn't have her bra on, and she was fully exposed. She yelled and said, "Close your eyes! Look away!"
"I didn't see anything!" he said, closing his eyes.
"Liar!" she yelled.
"Alright, I saw," he said.
"Shut up!" Ha Eun yelled.
"I'll forget them. I promise I'll forget seeing them!"
There was a knock on the door. Ha Eun quickly rolled to the other side of the bed, falling on the ground. Ji Seok came in, "Are you guys decent?"
Chang Wook noticed the bra on the ground, which he quickly kicked under the bed. Ha Eun grabbed it.

"Where's my sister?" Ji Seok asked.
"Bathroom," Chang Wook said.
Ji Seok smiled because he could see Ha Eun's shadow by the bed. He walked closer to Chang Wook and placed his arm over Chang Wook's shoulders, and he whispered in his ear "Next time you want to do the dirty with my sister, try to do it with the door locked."
Ji Seok pats his brother-in-law on the back, then headed outside. Before closing the door, he said: "Breakfast is ready."
Ha Eun got up from the floor and asked for her dress. Chang Wook went to the bathroom and got her dress, which he hung in the shower to dry. Once she put it back on, the two of them went downstairs.
Ji Seok was waiting for them in the dining room. When the two of them sat down, Ji Seok got up and brought three plastic bags. Inside each of them were a bottle of juice and one triangle gimbap for each of them.
"Sorry for the convenience store food, there's nothing to cook here," Ji Seok said.
Chang Wook was surprised by this. How can they have nothing to cook here?
"The Oh family hardly ever uses this house, that's why the only food here is made specifically for guests, when the guests are gone, what's left of the food is thrown out," Ha Eun told him.
"Either than or Ji Seok didn't know how to turn on a stove," Ha Eun said. Chang Wook chuckled.
Ji Seok gasped dramatically "How could you say such a thing about your brother?" Ha Eun stuck her tongue out, and Chang Wook laughed.
As they ate Ji Seok asked Chang Wook a question that the couple was surprised to hear, "Brother-in-law, what's Hong Joo like?"
Ha Eun wondered who Hong Joo was and Chang Wook wondered why Ji Seok was so interested.
"Who's Hong Joo?" Ha Eun asked.
"Brother-in-law's secretary" Ji Seok answered.
"Why the sudden interest in Hong Joo?" Chang Wook asked.
"How long has she been your secretary?" Ha Eun asked Chang Wook, "Why didn't you tell me you had a secretary?"
Chang Wook shrugged. She looked at Ji Seok, and he shrugged as well.
"She's a good girl. She's a bit clumsy and gets nervous easily, but she takes any job given to her seriously," Chang Wook said. He didn't know much about Hong Joo, so all he could tell Ji Seok about her was what she was like during work hours.
"Is she pretty?" Ha Eun asked. Ji Seok and Chang Wook looked at her, surprised. Ji Seok then turned to look at Chang Wook. How will he answer this question?
"No, not at all," Chang Wook said. Ji Seok widened his eyes.
"You liar!" Ji Seok hit the table and stood up "She is beautiful. I mean, she is drop-dead gorgeous, she could be a model. She can literally outs.h.i.+ne models. And when she smiles…wow. From a scale of 1 to 10, she is an 11. That's how beautiful she is!" Ji Seok yelled.
Ha Eun and Chang Wook looked at his with eyes wide open. Ha Eun stood up and his Ji Seok on the back of the head.
"Ow!" Ji Seok said.
"Show your sister and brother-in-law some respect!" Ha Eun yelled at him. Ji Seok sat back down and bowed his head to the couple.
"Why did you get so defensive?" Ha Eun asked him.
"It's just that she's beautiful, and if brother-in-law thinks something is pretty he shouldn't lie about it," Ji Seok said.
"But I wasn't lying" Chang Wook answered, "Sure, she meets the societal standards of beauty, but she's not my type."
Ji Seok took a deep breath and looked at Chang Wook "Don't you dare say something cheesy like Ha Eun is the prettiest girl in the world and no one can surpa.s.s her" Ji Seok said.
"Well, I was going to say something like Ha Eun is all I ever wanted, so why bother looking at rocks when I have a diamond?" Chang Wook said with a smile.
Ji Seok felt like throwing up "That's way cheesier than I could have ever expected." He looked over at Ha Eun who was red as an apple and holding back a smile.
Ha Eun then started to laugh "That's so cheesy!" she yelled as she covered her face with her hands.
Chang Wook thought he was being romantic, but he ended up making his wife and Ji Seok laugh. Although the two of them aren't related by blood, this was the first time Chang Wook ever saw the two as actual siblings.
Ha Eun was always so detached from her family, it was nice to see her laugh with her brother.
"So, the cheesiness aside. Why the sudden interest in this Hong Joo?" Ha Eun asked Ji Seok.
Ji Seok scratched the back of his head. Ha Eun widened her eyes, and before he said anything, she stopped him from talking, "Shut up. No. No! You always do this. You are banned from sleeping with people that work in the company. Remember last time? Do you want a repeat of last time?"
"What happened last time?" Chang Wook asked but, he was ignored.
"In my defense, I didn't know she was crazy."
"No. You caused a sane person to do crazy s.h.i.+t! I will not allow it. You are free to stick your sausage anywhere except inside my company's female employees!" Ha Eun took a deep breath "Besides, she's a n.o.body. Go for a model, an actress or the daughter of one of the board members. Stay in your lane."
Chang Wook thought that Ha Eun was talking a bit harshly to Ji Seok and calling one of her employees a n.o.body was rude. Ha Eun has always been rude, but if you ask her, she'd say she's blunt and straight forward.
"I'm finished eating. Chang Wook let's go" Ha Eun said in a demanding tone. The tone she always used when he was her secretary. She hasn't used that tone in a while.
Ha Eun walked out first. Chang Wook felt sorry for Ji Seok; he didn't get to explain why he wanted to know more about Hong Joo. What if he indeed wanted to get to know her rather than just flirt with her?
Chang Wook took out his phone from his pocket and with a pen wrote on Ji Seok's hand, Hong Joo's number.
"I don't know about your previous relations.h.i.+ps, but Hong Joo is a good girl. If you are going to do things half-a.s.sed forget about calling her and find someone else, but if you are genuinely interested and decide to call her, I'll support you" Chang Wook placed his hand on Ji Seok's shoulder and smile at him.
Then he walked out.
"Thank you, brother-in-law!" Ji Seok yelled.
…
Ha Eun was waiting for Chang Wook in the car, she left the door open for him. As he walked towards the car, he noticed how she got a phone call. Her expression soured. Chang Wook hurried to her side.
"I don't know any…" Ha Eun didn't finish what she was saying because someone on the other side of the phone cut her off "I give my card to a lot of people…" Ha Eun was cut off once again. Ha Eun's expression changed to one of surprise "I'm on my way," she said and hung up.
She told the driver to head to the police station, which worried Chang Wook. Did someone she know get in trouble?
"What happened? Who called you?" Chang Wook asked her.
"The police. The little urchin got in trouble," Ha Eun said. Chang Wook didn't understand what she meant, so he had to wait to get to the police station to find out.
