Chapter 9 - She was a Fighter

Light peered in through the window as I open my eyelids, which are still a little heavy. I absentmindedly stared into this unfamiliar room, until my awakened mind finally recalled the events yesterday.

I think I heard a frightening voice echoing from the pits of h.e.l.ls, but I walked out of the room without looking back. A short time later, I heard a shout that sounded like someone had been attacked by a predator, though I dont really know whose voice that is, it was probably just my imagination.
