"Ahhh!" Rika yelled out as she gritted her teeth and pushed down on her stomach with all her might. This world had nothing that could reduce this kind of pain. It made me realize what I will be going through in the next few years when I finally give birth to the little one in my belly. All I can do is stay by her side and give her support during the whole process.

Almost eight hours later the first cry was heard as Tai pulled out the first beautiful baby girl. She had long white ears and a furry puffy tail.  As time pa.s.sed Rika ended up giving birth to four baby girls. All of them had white rabbit ears and tail except one who had black rabbit ears and tail. Seeing the cute baby girls crying away made me smile as I warmly gazed upon them. I now understood what it meant to be a mom and a father at the same time.

I sat next to Rika and gently stroked the top of her head. She went through the pain of giving birth for an entire day. I could tell she was very exhausted. She was curled up into my arms as her steady breathing could be heard as she slept soundly. Rio and the other girls all helped clean the babies up and cleaned up the hospital room that we had created specifically for giving birth. Luckily we were able to bring back a lot of medical equipment that helped us greatly. 

Sola went to work on making cribs for each baby. It did not take long to make them from all the resources we have gathered. We ended up naming the babies Himari, Yui, Hina, and the last one baby, the one with black hair, ears, and tail was named s.h.i.+ro.  Yes, I know, I am one of those weird parents that would name their black dog whitey. Fortunately, the girls did not know what s.h.i.+ro meant. Anyway, I still thought it was cute and the girls agreed with me. 

I never thought that I would ever have children of my own at such a young age and I never thought that it would be someone else giving birth to my children either. But once you see those little bundles of joy squirming around like little worms, I really couldn't help but want to snuggle them! 

"Sora how is Rika?" Rio came into the room and asked. They had already put the babies into their cribs and were watching over them.

This was actually the best method for handling the issue of not understanding a lot of things once everyone has a better grasp of the language. Right now only myself and Sola can read, write, and speak Dumacan. If we made it our main language. The girls and the babies would be able to advance their knowledge by tenfold! "Rio, can you help me come up with a lesson plan? I want to start teaching you and the girls for two hours a day on how to read and write Dumacan as well as speak it. Once everyone has a basic understanding and has learned a few words we can then start slowly integrating it into our daily lives until we finally only speak Dumacan. The little ones will eventually pick up the language as they get older from hearing us speak it all the time. Of course when they are old enough to start learning how to read and write we will then hold teaching sessions for them as well. We will also teach Corian as their second language. "

Rio's eyes lit up. "That is a great idea! By doing it this way we would be able to move quicker while ruin raiding as well! I will get  to work on a lesson plan right away!"

Rio ran out of the room after saying her this. I couldn't help but smile as to how enthusiastic she was being. But this idea was good. Reviving the ancient Dumacan language as my kingdom's main form of speech was the best way to understand the technologies of the Dumacans. We have yet to find one but I am sure that there must be a bookstore or library type place that will hold a lot of knowledge that will allow us to jump a hundred years into the future technology-wise.
