Of course, it would be better if you remember some lottery numbers and which date they will appear, hopefully in the next few days or so. Unfortunately, you don't, and your only chance of getting some funding quickly is with what you have learned in school in the past years.

You could request help from the System somehow. Apparently when you were reborn into this world, you have been given a system. Cla.s.sic reincarnation story! Strangely enough, it hasn't been allowing you do anything with it.

"System," you call out, trying your luck again for the umpteenth times.

It's the same message, and you have no idea how to get authorization. Have G.o.d really forgot to give you privilege? Or you just haven't reached a milestone to unlock it yet. Whatever the case may be, the system is no help to you whatsoever.

Thinking about your choices a little bit more, you finally get up and decide to call your broker. He is a good agent. Unlike your temporary career, which has not improved in years due to one thing after another, your agent was different. He had been on the rise after years of hard work, and now he is part of the CAA.

What is that? It's the Creative Artists Agency!

But – but – what does CAA mean for Hollywood? Well, every f.u.c.king thing.

Sorry for the language, but that was how it is. CAA is very powerful, and you needed the power of the CAA to make your dream of being a super big-shot a reality, and there was not a lot of options for you right now.

However, there was a little problem. Your contract with your agent is about to expire, so you need to schedule a meeting with your agent and discuss the renewal of the contract. Unfortunately, your broker did not want to talk on the phone. You did manage to learn where he currently is, however.

Your broker is at a café near the California College of Art. There is many cafés around the college, but you narrow it down quickly enough due to your broker's taste.

After you put on a good enough formal attire and check yourself in the mirror adequately, you head out of your apartment.

You remember to lock the door before you go downstairs. The last time you didn't, you lost a few things – not much, since you didn't have much.

Outside, you find your second-hand car on the side of the road. You, of course, use the car to get to where you need as that is what it was designed for.

You are practical that way.

The drive is not very long, as your apartment is not too far from the school. Your car just needed to pa.s.s through the central street and turns about two intersections, and you're there.

The drive is uneventful – at least nothing happened yet since you are pretty much a tadpole in a small fish pond, and the world doesn't try to screw you over – yet.

Once you reach your destination, you park your car and head towards the café. The gla.s.s door gives you entrance. Turning left at the entrance, your agent is seen sitting at one of the tables in the corner. Another person was next to him.

"What is he doing here? I told him not to come."

Your agent apparently notices you from the moment you entered the cafe, and he isn't too pleased in seeing you here. You wrinkle your brow and stride forwards to give him your greeting. Sure, you could wait until he was done with his client, but he isn't welcoming your presence so why should you return the favor?

Without invitation, you open a chair and sit directly opposite of your agent.

With a smile on your face, you give your greeting: "Hi. It's fancy of seeing you here, and I didn't know you were with someone."

Before your agent or his client can say anything, you call the waiter nearby and give an order: "I have a coffee, thanks."
