Brain (Computer Virus)
The world’s first computer virus was “Brain,” a program released in 1986 by two brothers from Lah.o.r.e, Pakistan .
A certain software company, struggling with illegal copying of its software, inevitably created and spread this “virus that only displays warning text . ”
The producers of the virus had no malicious intent, and only created the program out of necessity .
However, as it pa.s.sed from person to person, the computer virus became a little more dangerous and evolved into a worldwide ent.i.ty that could completely destroy data .
The virus creators’ company still exists today .
