While taking a look at the origin flame crystals, Jason noticed that of them was as unique as it had been the case with Solaris.
Because of that, he truly believed that Solaris was a mutation which was quite interesting, considering that it was much stronger than normal origin flames.
However, at the same time the strongest origin flame crystals he could see also had their own uniqueness, which made them no worse than Solarisor so Jason thought.
With that in mind, he left the store in which he had found the origin flame crystals, expecting to keep looking at the content of the other stores.
Thus, he kept strolling through the streets, slowly approaching the library that was his final destination.
In fact, there were two different libraries; one that looked like a huge dojo and was probably harboring all kinds of martial art techniques, and possibly even cultivation techniques while the other library stored knowledge.
A few hours passed while he paid a lengthy visit to every single shop in order to get to know what kind of items were priced higher or lower.
After he was done with his research, Jason finally arrived in front of the library which he entered without hesitation.
Without wasting too much time, he grasped the first book of the closest shelf to figure out its price, and halted in his tracks, a little bit dumbfounded.
[10 books of the library's first floor cost 1 Merit point!]
This astonished Jason greatly because the price was extremely expensive when compared to that of the Immortal eye.
It was an item at, or possibly above the Specta rank yet only cost 1 Merit point too!
However, it was also possible that the Immortal eye was not valuable in the five Primordial race's opinion, but the books inside the library, and other materials that were priced much higher, were more valuable to them.
With that in mind, his first thought was to figure out the prices of the books on the different floors before determining their worth for him, as his knowledge was not extensive.
In the end, the prices were roughly the same, and only the books on the highest floor were priced at 1 Merit point per book.
Given that, Jason first gathered all books he categorized as necessary, important, very important, interesting, and so on.
Through this, he would be able to come up with a proper plan to not use too many merit points while being able to procure everything he wanted.
Jason assumed that many books would more or less have the same information.
That was why he looked at them in a very detailed manner, trying to come up with the most cost-efficient solution.
Right now, it might look like he had many merit points, but Jason wanted to procure a great, body refinement technique because he was not even using one anymore.
Furthermore, he was in need of a much stronger cultivation technique because he had realized that even though the Mythic Essence technique was strong, in order to advance even faster, he had to be greedy.
Thus, he wanted a powerful body refinement technique, a better cultivation technique, and both a movement and a martial art technique.
It had been years since he had used a martial art technique, which decreased his possible combat prowess by a large margin.
This was also a part of the reason for his passing grade of the fifth trial to be so low.
Other than that, the Floating Sky movement technique had long since reached the Perfect mastery, and its use was slowly diminishing with time.
/The amount of mana he had was manifold higher than what his movement technique required, and the speed boost which he received was also not as much as it felt before.
As such, a new movement technique was also something he required.
With that in mind, he wanted to procure four techniques that were, if possible, at a much higher rank than the Heaven rank!
Grand races had at least one technique at the rank called Luna, just like the City Lord, but Jason's goal was much higher, and his greed to become much stronger was only increasing day by day!
With that technique, Jason would be able to use them for a long time, with the highest possible potency, which would increase his physical strength, his combat prowess, and the speed at which he cultivated by several times!
Right now, he and his soulbonds had to adjust to the enhancement they had undergone during the last three months.
However, once the adjustment period was over, he would be able to make use of everything he had learned and received inside the dungeon.
That way once he were to leave the dungeon, it would be with a much higher strength than he could have ever dreamed of reaching in such a short period of time!
Given everything he needed, and all kinds of other things he wanted to procure to advance even further, Jason knew that he had to spend his merit points carefully.
Fortunately, not a single merit point was deducted until he stored it inside his spatial ring which was something Jason realized when he walked around with the immortal eye, only to store it away much later.
This was quite advantageous because he could walk around with a variety of books and adjust the rewards he took by leaving certain items behind once he felt that they were less useful than other things he found.
Like this he would be able to figure out the best way to use 4489 Merit points!
That being said, he collected several books until he had a humongous pile of them, which Jason enveloped with his mana before he left the library.
He felt dumb doing something like that because storing them away would be much easier, but that was not something he could do for now.
Thus, he entered the second library that looked like a dojo, while being followed by a mountain of books.
Not only were there several floors inside the dojo-like library, but also multiple sections.
These included a plethora of topics which could be used as a means to organize the special techniques that were either used with one cultivation vein, multiple, with a specific affinity requirement, or even the necessity to possess certain special traits.
There were many more books Jason was interested in, and seeing that the price of the books on the first floor was similar to the first library's with 10 books costing 1 Merit point, he got a good idea.
'I could purchase a few hundred Terra ranked techniques and sell them at an auction house if I were to need money...if Heaven-ranked techniques are similarly cheap, I might as well try the same at a higher scale!'
With that thought, Jason first looked at the prices of all kinds of techniques, including cultivation techniques and body refinement techniques which he found on the different floors.
Shockingly enough, a Heaven-ranked technique ranged from 1 Merit point to 50.
He also found many more Luna ranked techniques than he could have estimated with the cheapest being priced at 100 merit points.
It was a simple martial art technique that seemed to be ordinary, and it was because of this that the price for the highest Luna ranked technique was so much higher than the lowest priced one.
In the end, it was priced at 1500 Merit points!
However, shockingly enough, Jason understood that he could procure almost three of the most expensive and also strongest Luna ranked techniques with the merit points he had procured.
Yet, this didn't interest him at all because he found two specific things at the highest floor of the dojo!
First, he found a gradeless technique at a pedestal, surrounded by several techniques at the rank that was called [Sun], which was the fourth rank of the technique ranking Jason figured out!
The Sun-ranked techniques piqued Jason's interest because he could afford them as the cheapest one cost 3000 Merit points.
However, despite being cheaper, the gradeless technique that was lying on a pedestal was what he was fixated on. It was glowing brightly, and it felt like his entire being was attracted to it!
Additionally, the technique's name was also unique, heightening his curiosity as it was called;
[Kanadi of a Primordial]
