It is the type of night that reaches into Witherheart's bones, as if his heart is a door left wide open to the icy wind, slamming only to open again. Amidst the pale moonlight, the people gather to the throne room, wearing black robes to hide their ident.i.ty and faces. They shroud the whole room.
Before the king and queen, sitting upon their throne, the four pillars enter and kneels before them. Above, the chandeliers burn fervently, as the night grew deeper. What was once a beautiful day for birds to fly and sing is now a dreaded night for travelers and adventurers alike.
The beast that always rests behind the throne, reveals its head and whispers to the king, "Now, you will have what you've always dreamed for, Sacchi is yours, once in for all." The words of the beast made the king smirk.
From that moment, the trumpets are blown as the doors of the room are opened widely, giving way to the apprehended maiden, the princess of Witherstone, Virgo. With eyes of sorrows, she proceeds forth, walking down the aisle with the violet gown. Above her head is a tiara.
Princesses are always known to be free to do whatever they want, or so they thought. On the hands of the princess, were cuffs, tightly strapped. They can be moved, three inches away from each other, only for the purpose of playing the ocarina. As she walks, Virgo was downhearted and only through the image of the young man she had fallen in love with will her happiness be restored.
However, that image is only limited to her imagination.
As the princess continues to walk, the organ starts to play as the people served as the choir. They begin to sing songs and praises for the royal family. Upon the arrival of the maiden in front of her mother and father who turned out to be the king and queen, the organ music reaches a suspense as the choir hits the highest note.
"Welcome back, my daughter." The queen greets as her daughter slowly kneels down. The rest of the people covered in black robes, followed afterward. After her little gesture in which she did it out of force, Virgo stands and takes out the ocarina from her pocket.
"Good. Be an obedient daughter and give the powers your father deserves. You little rascal. You've been running from your kingdom. Do you not know the power we bear? We are limitless. There were only two ways of earning Sacchi. It is either you would be slaughtered or give the powers your ocarina possesses to the king. It looks like you have made the right decision." The beast scolds.
"I don't even know who you are." Virgo mocks the beast.
"Heh, such a pouty daughter. Now, let the ceremony reach its crescendo." says, the beast as the organ stops playing and the choir kept their mouth shut.
As for the four pillars, they stood up from the ground and moved aside. The moment is now, as the rumbling thunder hits the snow outside the room. With his scepter, the king taps the ground three times, giving the hint to his daughter that the time has finally arrived.
"I hope you know what you're doing, father. Mother. Your actions make the comfortable disturbed and the disturbed comfortable." mumbles, the princess as she slowly moves the ocarina from her hand to her mouth.
