Chapter 709: Finals (3)

The game and multi-kills continued.

With each additional multi-kill, the points scored would be doubled. Therefore, a septakill granted [Domination] points that were almost several hundred times higher than usual.

With each additional septakill, [Domination]’s team points went up by more than three thousand.

And thus, the gap in the scores of the two sides became monstrous.

As the four players in [MLG] could not see [Domination]’s execution, they were all incredibly confused. Why were the enemy team’s points rising by more than three thousand at once?

[MLG]’s points were rising by the tens. On the other hand, their opponent’s score jumped a few thousand points at once.

They did not know what was happening. And thus, they could only try to kill more Zergs.

As time went on, the gap between their scores did not close. Instead, their scores got further and further apart.

It was as though the members of [Domination] had all been enlightened by the G.o.ds. They continued to get high killstreaks made their points increase at a crazy speed.

The cheers from the crowd became louder and louder.

However, the [MLG] players could not hear the cheers of the crowd as they were wearing noise-canceling earphones. Despite that, they could feel the pressure from the difference in score.

The difference between their scores was too bizarre.

Finally, the team members of [MLG] could not take it anymore. They asked the referee to pause the game.

After pausing the game, [MLG] asked the referees to check how the opponent acc.u.mulated the points.

The comments on the domestic streaming platform were incredibly lively:

[Are they suspicious of [Domination] cheating? Usually, in these games, you can cheat by using aimbots. However, it’s obvious that [Domination] is doing something different. They’re using positioning and predictive abilities to herd up Zergs. Obviously, they’re incredibly good at aiming, however, tactics in this situation are more important.]

[MLG must be incredibly confused.]

[If I were an MLG player, I’d also be doubting my life.]

The referee agreed to [MLG]’s request. And thus, the referee checked [Domination]’s computers, keyboards, and mice.

However, no problems were found.

And thus, it was determined that [Domination] did not have anything that would allow them to cheat.

Then, the match continued.

In the next ten minutes, the players of [MLG] began to become desperate. After all, the difference in the scores was way too big. Even if [Domination] did not kill another Zerg this match, they would not be able to catch up.

Not to mention that the other team had no intention of stopping.

Then, the first game was over.

[Domination]’s score: 18888 points

[MLG]’s score: 4720 points

The comments section was filled with [666]’s.

[Oh my G.o.d! What kind of team is this? Not only did they win the match, but they even controlled the score!

[MLG is a foreign team. They might not know that 18888 is a special score.]

[Does that even matter? [Domination] is just insane! That’s the end of the story.]

[Remember all those people who looked down upon [Domination]? Do your faces hurt now?]

[I used all my pocket money to bet on [Domination]! Previously, I just wanted to support them. However, it seems as though I might be able to buy a new phone!]

The finals were a best of three.

[Domination] had won the first game by a landslide. This caused [MLG], the defending champions, to feel a lot of pressure.

They could not understand how [Domination] became so fierce in the finals. After all, they won against [Domination] in the round robins!

The players of [MLG] attempted to adjust their mindset before the second game started.

Instead of starting with multi-kills again, this time around [Domination] began to path towards [MLG]’s side of the map. They gave up their chance to create a quick point advantage.
