Then, Ryan took another look at Jian Yiling.

She wasn’t tall and looked like a loli.

“How did you manage to do this?” Ryan asked Jian Yiling. His eyes were filled with curiosity.

Previously, he stayed back solely because Mo s.h.i.+yun wanted to stay and watch.

However, now, he wanted to learn more about Jian Yiling.

Mo s.h.i.+yun’s fists were clenched. Her nails began to dig into the flesh of her palms.

Upon hearing Long Yuetian’s words, the receptionist’s face went pale with shock.

The thing that she feared the most had still happened.

“It’s okay,” Jian Yiling replied. She was not upset about the situation.

“Let’s go upstairs. Don’t mind these people.”

Then, Long Yuetian headed upstairs with Jian Yiling.

Jian Yiling and Long Yuetian talked for around an hour.

“By the way, I heard that you’ve been inquiring about heart transplants recently,” Long Yuetian commented. She was quite well-informed.

She had gotten relevant news about the situation. The Huiling Medical Research Inst.i.tution had s.h.i.+fted part of its focus to cardiovascular research.

Jian Yiling nodded her head.

“Are you planning to give someone a heart transplant?”

“If you’re not planning to give someone a heart transplant, then why are you inquiring into this matter?”

“Surgical experience and research,” Jian Yiling replied.

She didn’t plan to operate on Zhai Yunsheng yet. Instead, she wanted to do related surgical research.

Although Zhai Yunsheng’s heart wasn’t the best, if nothing bad happened, there was a possibility for him to live with his not-so-healthy heart.

If he were to go through a heart transplant, there could be many problems related to the surgery. In addition, there was a high probability that he will only live for five to ten years after the heart transplant.

This meant that Zhai Yunsheng could potentially have a shorter life span if he went through heart transplantation.
