Chapter 2542: The Unspeakable Ident.i.ty!

The Colossus that was as dark as a swirl, as brutal as a fiend, and as deep as a black hole was destined to be the most devastating part in the nightmare of the observers.

It was simply standing between the sky and the earth, not even in a battle posture, but the most daunting vibe was already flooding out.

Countless black flames were rising to the sky, congregating into pillars of smoke that were almost concrete and sprawling in all directions. The blue sky and the white clouds were eclipsed, and the whole headquarters of the Business Alliance of Ten Thousand Sectors was enshrouded in a hazy mist.

If one were to observe closely, they would find that the mist was actually made of countless twisted fiends, as if the black Colossus was commanding a great army and surrounding the heart of the Business Alliance of Ten Thousand Sectors.

One person and one Colossus had surrounded the Business Alliance of Ten Thousand Sectors!

It wasn’t that the managers, shareholders, and investors of the Business Alliance of Ten Thousand Sectors had never seen any Colossus before. As a matter of fact, because of its unique advantage, the Business Alliance of Ten Thousand Sectors had collected plenty of Colossi during the hundred years. It was one of the temptations they used to attract the great warriors to work for them.

However, the Colossi of the Business Alliance of Ten Thousand Sectors were mostly the a.s.sembled products, which had been seriously damaged on the battlefield before. Some of them were even duplicates whose original components had been replaced by ma.s.s-produced components. Despite the quant.i.ty, they were not nearly as good as the Colossi under the control of the four Kurfürst families in terms of quality. It often took two to three miscellaneous Colossi of the Business Alliance of Ten Thousand Sectors to compete with an advanced Colossus of the four Kurfürst families.

The black Colossus, on the other hand, was an ultimate Colossus of the ultimate Colossi based on the style, the air, and the soaring spiritual energy. Even the experts who had traveled in the Imperium for a hundred years had never seen such ultimate weapons!

It seemed that the one Colossus was enough to pierce through the entire Seven Seas Grand Market and butcher each and every one of them. Even though they knew that it was only their illusion, their nerve endings were still quivering beyond their control, and they couldn’t calm themselves down at all.

That was the real G.o.d of destruction and the unparalleled weapon that could even slay Pangu and Nuwa!

The black Colossus floated outside of the headquarters of the Business Alliance of Ten Thousand Sectors quietly, intentionally waiting for the defenders to surround him.

However, even if the defenders had reinforced in a haste, and several Colossi had arrived, how were they bold enough to attack the aggressive super Colossus easily?

Compared to the glamorous, brutal, and powerful Colossus, the Colossi of the Business Alliance of Ten Thousand Sectors were like ragged garbage that was riddled with holes.

The battle hymn from the chest of the black Colossus was even more violent. Finally, somebody remembered its name from the resounding rhythm. Their faces immediately turned pale as if they had just suffered a lightning strike. Their lips s.h.i.+vering, they stuttered, “It’s… It’s impossible… It’s absolutely impossible!”

Qi Yuanbao was so scared that his brain cells were all frozen. He perceived two facts during the moment.

Firstly, Vulture Li Yao had predicted his every move. Li Yao did not break into the ventilation tube in person at all but merely sent an unimportant subordinate, intentionally letting the guy be discovered so that all his available forces and his own attention would be distracted!

One third of the armed forces under his control were still hunting Red Lady and the a.s.sa.s.sins of b.l.o.o.d.y Skull in the external district, and the other two thirds were distracted by the decoy. When the place was utterly undefended, Li Yao could simply barge in openly.

He thought that Li Yao wanted to steal the critical data stealthily, but as it turned out, Li Yao had marched to the headquarters of the Business Alliance of Ten Thousand Sectors without caring anything through the simplest move of distraction!

Secondly, Vulture Li Yao, the shameless liar and the ferocious fiend, had been hiding his strength the whole time!

Li Yao’s gloomy chuckle echoed from the black Colossus. “Don’t be nervous. Just relax. I’m not here to kill you… at least not for now.”

Stepping in the air, the black Colossus “walked” to the building!

Everybody’s heart was almost frozen. While tens of thousands of Exos and multiple times more battle puppets had been gathered in the place, all the people and machines had been too deeply awed by Li Yao’s vibe to wave their blades or pull their triggers.

“Don’t… Don’t believe him, everyone. Every word he says is a lie!”

Qi Yuanbao made up his mind and shouted at the loudest of his voice, “He has betrayed the reformists and is now a dog of the four Kurfürst families! Every word he says is a lie to dissolve our unity and morale!”

While he was talking, the black Colossus had already “walked” to the broken window of the building.

Next, Li Yao made an unexpected movement. He simply opened the cabin on the chest of the Colossus and drifted to the center of the grand conference room!

He was not even wearing a crystal suit and was only covered in a half-solid black combat suit. However, thousands of black feathers were swirling around him slowly like an extremely weird tornado. It was not until a long time later that they were condensed behind his back into a black cape more than ten meters long, which was still dancing in the evilest and luxurious way!

Although the black Colossus was still floating outside of the building, and the iron tentacles were raging unpredictably like black dragons, the pressure on the spot was still more or less eased after he showed up with his real self. Many shareholders and investors who joined the meeting via remote projection grew curious too.

“Vulture Li Yao, you have obviously defected to the four families’ side. Not only did you kill Director Jin, but you also attempted to destroy the central trade data of the Business Alliance of Ten Thousand Sectors. You are bold enough to come here!”

Qi Yuanbao roared, “Everybody knows that ‘decapitation’ is your favorite. Are you planning to kill all the leaders of the Business Alliance of Ten Thousand Sectors here? Then you can start with me!”

“Quiet!”

Li Yao glared at him and opened his hands, s.n.a.t.c.hing at Qi Yuanbao casually. A gigantic black hand of spiritual energy immediately appeared out of nowhere in a scary wind, forcing Qi Yuanbao to scream and dodge in a hurry.

Li Yao, however, stopped after the s.n.a.t.c.h. He sniffed and said, “Killing you is as easy as butchering a dog for me. However, filthy swine like you are not qualified to stain my hands. Be quiet and back off. Don’t be an eyesore!”

“You—”

Qi Yuanbao was one of the five senior managers of the Business Alliance of Ten Thousand Sectors after all, and he had never been so humiliated in front of the managers, shareholders, investors, and business partners before. Blus.h.i.+ng, he let out his fatal move without caring about anything. Raising his voice, he shouted, “Vulture Li Yao, who are you exactly? n.o.body in the entire Imperium of True Human Beings has ever heard of your name before. You basically emerged out of nowhere, and yet you were so strong and had such a… weirdly-styled Colossus?

“Which sect and which family did you come from? Where did you advance into the Divinity Transformation Stage? Where did you get your super Colossus? I guarantee with my head that there was absolutely never someone like you in the Imperium of True Human Beings before. Are you a super spy that the Alliance of the Holy Covenant carefully trained in order to sabotage the Imperium? Or maybe, do you have other secret and unknown ident.i.ties that you daren’t reveal at all?

“Speak now! You don’t have anything to say for yourself now, do you? Hahahaha. With such an obscure ident.i.ty and background, you are not going to convince us of anything you may say!”
