Chapter 2405: The Reborn Colossus!

“Wow!”

The two kids exclaimed at the same time. Countless spiritual puppets that were under their control were also running back and forth like panicked ants, dodging the pebbles and dust falling from the ceiling of the shelter.

Li Yao smiled and darted out of the shelter like a sharp arrow.

The s.p.a.ce in the shelter was too narrow, and the general structure was too weak. It was really unsuitable for him to burst out all of his strength without concerns!

Outside of the shelter was the magma lake a thousand degrees in temperature. Bubbling sounds were echoing in the scorching air while the orange foams of magma were created and destroyed incessantly.

Li Yao ran at the magma lake straightly, showing no intention that he was changing his route. When he was ten meters away from the magma lake, he simply sprinted and dived into the magma!

The sweltering magma immediately drowned him. He completely vanished, as if he had been melted by the magma.

The two kids couldn’t help but look at each other in bewilderment when they followed him and saw what happened. They perhaps could control some full-metal spiritual puppets to enter the magma, but it was too insane for them to step into the magma with only their bodies of flesh and blood.

The tranquility of the magma lake only lasted several seconds when a tide started to surge. The orange magma bubbles from the bottom of the lake were suddenly five times larger in size before they exploded and rose skyward in hot streams that looked like tusks, leaving radial stripes of magma on the ceiling and wall of the cave, like the most glamorous flowers.

A gigantic swirl was also taking shape at the center of the magma lake, adding deafening roars to the magma lake that had already been extremely intimidating in the first place, as if a fiery king was being crowned at the deepest part of the magma.

BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!

The fulminations bursting out of the magma lake even misled the two kids into thinking that the tectonic structure had been changed, and the whole rock stratum was going to be broken, changing the hundred square kilometers around into an ocean of magma!

“The temperature and activity of the magma are dropping very fast!”

Li Xiaoming exclaimed, “The light and heat are vanis.h.i.+ng at an unbelievable speed, as if they are being devoured by something!”

The magma lake dimmed at a visible speed.

Very soon, the previously boiling surface had a gray sh.e.l.l condensed, as if the whole pool of magma had consolidated.

The two kids issued commands, and more than ten spiritual puppets immediately carried tremendous tanks of cooling liquids and spurted them at Li Yao’s head, burying him in a pile of foams.

“Dad, you have overexploited the performance of your brain.”

Li Xiaoming frowned at Li Yao in the foams. “There’s a reason why the activity of the human brain is often kept at 10%. If you increase the brain activity without any control, achieving a utilization rate of almost 100%, it will be very easy to lost control.”

“I-I certainly know that!”

While breathing heavily, Li Yao wiped the gummy foams from his face while he coughed. “I was just testing the maximal computational ability of my brain. Rest a.s.sured. Everything was under my control. You didn’t have to spurt those messy foams at all.”

“Is that so?”

Li Xiaoming and Li Wenwen pouted their lips and asked suspiciously while looking at Li Yao in a “stop pretending, we’ve seen through you” way.

“The brain cooling is really a big problem.”

Without even changing his expression, Li Yao simply pondered and said, “It seems that even the peak of the Divinity Transformation Stage has to abide by the law of nature, too. There is no way to increase the strength and the computational ability unlimitedly. The duration in the peak level supported by my current brain is too short. If I am surrounded by dozens of experts in the Nascent Soul Stage and the Divinity Transformation Stage, the chances of winning are still slim.”

“Dad can adopt some minor modifications.”

Li Xiaoming proposed, “For example, you can connect your brain to dozens of arrays of super crystal processors together with a large cl.u.s.ter of cooling extensions. In such a way, the cooling ability will be significantly improved, and you will be given a computational ability multiple times higher than right now.”

Li Yao imagined the picture and immediately vetoed the bad idea.

Deep inside the shelter, in the fully-automatic maintenance workshop, countless six-footed maintenance puppets in the shape of spiders were crawling and spurting rays and flames from their abdomens now and then as they polished or welded the components.

Two Colossi, or whatever left of them, were floating in the midair, supported by the anti-gravity rune arrays and fixated by chains as thick as arms.

Both the Gold Vulture and the h.e.l.lstar had lost their previous splendor and dominance.

However, based on the two “corpses”, together with the debris and materials that the two kids had collected from the underground relics, a brand-new, unprecedented Colossus was about to be born.

Now that his soul had been increased to a new height, Li Yao had new understandings of the “Colossi Maintenance Manual” that he learned from the Nuwa wars.h.i.+p in the Ancient Sages Sector.

Inside his brain, the structures, advantages, and disadvantages of a hundred different Colossus models were colliding like spindrifts into a brand-new modification plan that was most suitable for his current body feature, soul power, and combat style.

The two kids, on the other hand, could perform efficient and delicate polis.h.i.+ng and maintenance on the debris of the Colossi with the hundred spider-shaped puppets, making it possible for the Colossi to be reborn in only a couple of days.

Li Yao and the two little kids, who made up a strange family, retrieved all the intact components on the two Colossi in only three days. Together with the backup components they discovered from the underground relics, the prototype of the brand-new Colossus was created.

This Colossus…

The splendor and magnificence that belonged to the Gold Vulture were entirely gone, and the sophistication, mysteriousness, and intimidation in the age of “Tartarean Skeleton” were restored. It looked like a dark skeleton and even more.

The main color of the Colossus became black that bordered on transparency again. In the vague black color, dazzling stripes of blood were embedded and flowing slowly as if they were alive.

Because the Gold Vulture was blown apart, and a lot of components were missing, the height of the brand-new Colossus was slightly reduced, changing from more than thirty meters to twenty-five meters.

However, after dissecting the debris of “h.e.l.lstar”, the other Colossus, Li Yao placed it on the brand-new Colossus as a “strengthening external skeleton”. The new Colossus seemed to be wearing arc-shaped heavy armor and looked much stronger than before.

“h.e.l.lstar” had six G.o.dly faces, where each of them was facing one direction previously.

Three of them were retained on the brand-new Colossus. Two were kept as the decorations of the gigantic shoulders, and the last one was hidden inside the layered armor on the abdomen as a piece of stealthy magical equipment for mental attacks.

What was most eye-catching was the dozens of extensible metal tentacles on “h.e.l.lstar” that Li Yao had transplanted on the back of the new Colossus.

At first glance, the extremely intimidating Colossus seemed to have a headful of crazily-dancing hair that looked like snakes!
