He thought of switching the pills because if a humans life was thrown into the spanners, Yan Qingsi would never forgive him. He alone could not appease her.

His mother, however, was a different matter altogether. Yue Tingfeng could see that Yan Qingsi was very fond of his mom, perhaps because she felt the motherly love that she long yearned for and formed a subconscious bond with the old woman.

That was why he dragged his own mother to be an accomplice. Their schemes could be considered a joint enterprise. If the truth did come to light in the future, his mother would be the first in line to take the fall for him.

Considering that she was his mother, he believed that Yan Qingsi would not hold any grudges against the old woman.

Yue Tingfeng took the contraceptive and hurried over to Yan Qingsi.

Therefore, they had to regroup and begin filming, as time was not on their side.

As she was going, Yue Tingfeng warned yet again, Ill think of a way to deal with Ye Shaoguang but before that is done, you cannot confront him without proper thinking done. If you meet him when Im not with you, avoid him as far as practicable. If you cant avoid him, call me immediately.

She nodded. Im going to regroup with the cast and crew. Filmings going to begin. Even if I want to look for him, I dont have any time.

And also, about my mother-in-law, dont worry too much. Ill get someone to investigate. Just dont worry and film your shoots.

Yan Qingsi moved her lip, intending to retort, but Yue Tingfengs handsome face prompted her to shove her words back down.

Yan Qingsi might be away on set for an extended period of time. Mrs. Yue prepared lots of facial masks and skincare products for her, as well as reminding her to have her proper meals. Mrs. Yue would come to check on her in the next couple of days.

Before leaving, Yan Qingsi gave Mrs. Yue a hug.

Yue Tingfeng asked, Ma you seem to be in a good mood lately?

Mrs. Yue looked up from her phone with glimmering eyes. Yes, its been superb. Did you know, after Yan Qingsi helped me win the other day, no one else dared to play dumb with me, especially those three horrible old ladies? They just walk away when they see me.
