Chapter 46: It's No One Auntie Cui. Let Me Call You Later, I'm At The Office!

"You don't need to concern yourself with my personal business, Chairman Zheng. I have everything under control!"

The Chairman of Ziaomi saw the pinched look on the face of Ni Yuexi, he could tell that she didn't like his interference.

"Don't think that I cannot s.n.a.t.c.h that phone from you to speak to your precious Aunt Cui!"

The voice was deceptively calm,  but Ni Yuexi could sense that he was incensed at the way she tossed his offer for a.s.sistance.

It was at this point that the relative on the other line asked whom Ni Yuexi was speaking to.

"It's no one Auntie Cui. Let me call you later, I'm at the office!"

Ni Yuexi's voice rose several octaves high from the white lies she had to tell in order to keep her boss away from meddling into her personal life.

"No one you say?!"

Chapter 47: 12.000 Yuan? That's All You Are Asking? Are You Sure You Didn't Mean To Say 21.000 Yuan?

Nothing prepared her for what Zheng Shangyu did, the Chairman of Ziaomi s.n.a.t.c.hed the phone from the ears of Ni Yuexi to talk to the supposed relative on the phone.

"h.e.l.lo, I'm Zheng Shanyu. Miss Ni's boyfriend. I apologize that we haven't take time out for me to know you and your family. I promise that we would both look for the time to pay a visit. Is it okay if I also call you Auntie Cui?"

Ni Yuexi's mouth opened at the blatant lie told by her boss.

"When did he become my boyfriend? Even if there are no men left on earth! I certainly would not choose this arrogant man!"

Seething silently with rage, Ni Yuexi stared at Zheng Shanyu with daggers in her eyes.

"12.000 Yuan? That's all you are asking? Are you sure you didn't mean to say 21.000 Yuan?"

Chapter 48: Yes, Auntie Cui. I Will Definitely Send A Car Over For Us To Have Dinner With Family

If there was one thing that came to her mind, it was the relentless thought to murder her boss right where he stood. Ni Yuexi was flipping angry and wanted to slap the arrogant man in the face.

"Who said he had the right to throw money at my Auntie's face?! Did I tell him that I was poor to the point that I couldn't afford to sh.e.l.l out some money! First, he pushed the position of ditector on me. Making everyone in the company to believe I'm a cheap person! Now this!"

A torrent of negative thoughts went through the mind of Ni Yuexi, she wanted to lash out at her boss for shamlessly flaunting his wealth.

"Yes, Auntie Cui. I will definitely send a car over for us to have dinner with family."

Zheng Shanyu's rich laugh was like pepper to Ni Yuexi's already bruised ego, to the new director her boss had crushed her pride by overly wetting the floor in order to win over her family.

"Dinner? Says who?"

Chapter 49: Are You Done? Please Give Me My Phone

"Okay, Auntie Cui! No need to thank me, since we are practically family! Alright then, bye!"

The Chairman of Ziaomi hastily ended the phone call when he heard what Ni Yuexi mouthed at him.

All the while he was on the phone, he kept sending s.e.xy winks her way, but none of that seemed to work on Ni Yuexi. It was plain as day, she was very angry at him and couldn't bring herself to see past her boss worming his way into her personal life.

"Are you done?! Please give me my phone!"

"Miss Ni? What did I do to make you so angry? Is it because I spoke to your Aunt Cui?"

Ni Yuexi's face flushed a deeper red when she saw the innocent look that her boss wore, his lips curled up in an angelic smile. For some unknown reason her feminine part clenched in response.

"It's been too long, I need to go out on a blind date today after work!"

Chapter 50: C-Chairman Zheng? Is There Something On My Face?

Zheng Shanyu saw the awareness that creeped up in the eyes of the woman he badly wanted to claim, but he was aiming at taking it slow with her.

"I want to court her....I know it may sound old fas.h.i.+on, but I don't want to lose Miss Ni! She just looks so irresistible!"

Zheng Shanyu's mouth watered at the beautiful woman he had taken a liking to within a day of them meeting. It was a rollercoaster for him, this made it a challenge to rein his emotions in.

"C-Chairman Zheng? Is there something on my face?"

At that moment, the Chairman of Ziaomi placed her phone on the desk and moved to cover the distance between them.

"Miss Ni, Is it okay for me to kiss you?"

Zheng Shanyu spoke so softly, not that it would have made a difference because the woman who was the focus of his attention was staring at him in a daze of her own.

As though they silently communicated with each other, Zheng Shanyu lowered his head to kiss the lips of Ni Yuexi.

Chapter 51: Not So Good, But That's Life

Chapter 52: What Is It, Miss Ni? Are You Alright?!

Ni Yuexi felt a sensation like no other, a pleasurable warm spark which started from the center of her belly and when from there to her throbbing feminine part and crawled it's way up to her chest. It was at that point her heart began beating rapidly with her brain registering all the pleasurable sensations coursing through her body almost all at once. Ni Yuexi's eyes were closed while immersing herself in the kiss that was making her feet to turn to jelly.

"I can't believe I'm kissing Chairman Zheng! His lips...are...."

It was at that moment that the enjoyable feeling she was having replaced itself with horrifying cramps. Ni Yuexi could not react fast enough when the swarm of b.u.t.terflies in her belly began sharp points of p.r.i.c.kling needles which dug ruthlessly at her abdomen and lower part where sticky red fluid was dripping on a hastily folded toilet paper.

"Whatever it takes Miss Ni must become mine! She's feisty, but who says good things comes easy?"

While Zheng Shanyu was nursing his private thought, Ni Yuexi suddenly pulled away from him to press her hands on her stomach.

"What is it, Miss Ni? Are you alright?!"

No listening to the man that she just kissed, Ni Yuexi was about to make a run for it when she a mountain of nauseousness viciously grabbed her and with that came a wave of vomit. Right there, she began to retching. Throwing up on the clean rug and her skirt suit.

Chapter 53: What Could Have Made Miss Ni Throw Up? Is It A Stomach Bug?

At a loss on what could have made his new found interest begin to throw up their kiss. The Chairman of Ziaomi thought he was the cause of it.

"Am I that terrible of a kisser? The way she responded to me was like she was enjoying it just like I did...or was she just feigning the act? None of the women I've kissed had ever reacted that way to me? Is that she doesn't like me at all?"

Unsure of what to make of Ni Yuexi's att.i.tude towards their shared kiss. Zheng Shanyu decided to go the old fas.h.i.+oned way and ask her the reason for her strange reaction to him.

"Miss Ni? Is it because of the kiss? Was it awful? Tell me and I won't touch you again until I've found a way to improve on my skill."

Zheng Shanyu knelt by Ni Yuexi his heart squeezed painfully when he saw the moisture that had stained her eyelashes, her face was contorted in pain, as though she was suffering deeply. It was when he saw this that his brain told him that something other than their kiss could have triggered such a reaction from her.

"What could have made Miss Ni  throw up? Is it a stomach bug?!"

Chapter 54: Let Me Get My Gear, Chairman Zheng And I'll Meet You In 5 Minutes!

Taking the bull by the proverbial horn, Zheng Shanyu took off his coat to drape them over Ni Yuexi. After this, the Chairman of Ziaomi took out his phone to call the company's on call doctor who was a long time friend of the Zheng family.

"h.e.l.lo Dr. Lou! It's Zheng Shanyu! I need you to come to the computer lab! There is an employee of mine that is throwing up! Please don't delay! I fear she may have caught the stomach bug! Please Dr. Lou make it here on time!"

Lou Jinjun had been employed by Zheng family less than a decade ago. The now forty something year old doctor was the stand in when the long standing doctor who had been with the family before the Zheng boys where born. That doctor was away on his yearly vacation in Belize.

The family doctor listened calmly to the agitated voice on the other end of the line before replying.

"Let me get my gear, Chairman Zheng and I'll meet you in 5 minutes!"

In a no nonsense tone, Lou Jinjun took charge of the call by putting an end to it sooner in order to get to where Zheng Shanyu was.

The family doctor lived close to the company, all he had to do was open the door of his house and do a speed jog of one minute. That was how near he was to Ziaomi. 

Chapter 55: What Is It That You Can't Say When I'm Here?

True to his word, Lou Jinjun was there approximately 5 minutes, a man in simple white s.h.i.+rt and dark pants walked through the door, there was a quick greeting between the doctor and Zheng Shanyu before Lou Jinjun methodically pulled out his dark colored medical supply bag which resembled a mini travelling bag with a strap attached to both ends.

"What's her name?"

"I call her Miss Ni."

Despite how serious the situation was, Zheng Shanyu's demeanor was marked by the possessiveness that lay buried inside of him. He didn't want the doctor to call Ni Yuexi by her given name on first meeting.

"Miss Ni, can you talk well enough to let me know where your pain is and what you think could have caused your pain?"

While he spoke, the doctor watched her through his gold rimmed gla.s.ses. Noting that there was no change in skin tone, her breathing was not rapid enough to warrant his concern and she seemed to be embracing her abdomen and grimacing in pain. He also saw that it looked as though she had cried.

"C....C...Chairman...Zheng....please I need....to speak alone....with the doctor...."

"What is it that you can't say when I'm here?!"

Ni Yuexi stared blankly at him not willing to divulge the reason why she didn't want him around as she spoke with the doctor he had called for her.

"Chairman Zheng, it is imperative that I speak to Miss Ni alone. The patient has the right to privacy, please wait outside until we are done."

Shocked and angry at been demanded to leave by the two, the Chairman of Ziaomi stormed out of the office. Visibly upset and uneasy about leaving another man with the woman he was failing miserable to hold onto.
