So, the Spirit Essence Tower is a Divine artifact, and an ownerless one to boot. Although it still has some spiritual attributes left, it is utterly no match for the Longevity Tower now. It cannot avoid the fate of being devoured. Chen Feng easily handled the Heavenly Immortal's corpse. Given Chen Feng's present level of strength, even a genuine Heavenly Immortal would lose to him.

The process of collecting the Spirit Essence Tower was very simple. In the face of the Longevity Tower's might, the Spirit Essence Tower was practically incapable of mounting any resistance before the Longevity Tower gulped it down and refined it.

According to Tower, devouring this Spirit Essence Tower was even better than devouring several Divine artifacts combined.

Looks like if I want the Longevity Tower to quickly recover its strength, I will have to go look for other paG.o.da towers at the Divine tier, Chen Feng thought. And so, Chen Feng returned. 

Time pa.s.sed like water. As Chen Feng's cultivation base kept rising, he began losing touch with the concept of time and hundreds of years pa.s.sed by swiftly. The number of ascending cultivators rose with every pa.s.sing day and the desire to head to the Immortal Plane began growing within Chen Feng. He had sensed an inexplicable feeling of danger. He also knew that this danger would come from the Celestial Longevity Plane.

The Immortal Plane is big enough. By going there, even if the Celestial Longevity Plane sends experts after me, they would have a very hard time tracking me down, Chen Feng pondered.

Chen Feng no longer had any intentions of staying in Eternal World. It was time he left.

On this particular day, the very same day Chen Feng made up his mind to head to the Immortal Plane, the danger he had been sensing all this time finally came cras.h.i.+ng down on him.

A spatial pa.s.sageway – created by several cultivators – leading to Eternal World opened up. Upon appearing there, the cultivators swiftly locked down Chen Feng's position.

They've come. All of them are Heavenly Immortals! The atmosphere of pressure that had been lingering around Chen Feng for so long abruptly disappeared and he felt slightly more at ease. So long as it wasn't a Gold Immortal, there was hope that he would be able to escape.

That being said, these were not the kind of Heavenly Immortals that Chen Feng could deal with either. Due to that, Chen Feng immediately chose to flee.

Earlier, Chen Feng had promptly linked up to the Immortal Plane. And so, due to the pulling power of the grand dao laws, Chen Feng swiftly entered the Immortal Plane.

“Where do you think you're going?!”

Upon entering the Immortal Plane, Chen Feng sensed a different aura. Lofty, grand and concentrated immortal-type spirit energy and a densely-packed spatial structure. However, Chen Feng was not given the time to properly a.s.sess all of that as his pursuers were hot on his trail. He was simply incapable of shaking them off. Moreover, they were also very fast. They were swiftly closing the distance between themselves and Chen Feng.

Chen Feng quickly launched up into the sky only to feel as though he was carrying a ma.s.sive mountain on his back. His flight speed here was tens of thousands of times slower compared to his flight speed in outer s.p.a.ce. Due to the densely-packed spatial structure of the Immortal Plane, Chen Feng felt like an ordinary human swimming through a body of water, a.s.sailed by a viscous feeling.

Even though Chen Feng was from the Celestial Longevity Plane, he had never actually been to the Immortal Plane before. And even though he did utilize the Heavenstealing Technique against the Immortal Plane before, only his divine sense had entered. This was Chen Feng's first time entering the Immortal Plane.

The Immortal Plane was not a place that the other life-bearing worlds like Eternal World and others could hope to match.

Chen Feng, though, had long since prepared himself for this. His figure merely shook slightly and the Longevity Wings flapped continuously as he adjusted his body. Cultivators at his level could practically adapt to various types of environment.

And so, Chen Feng's flight speed rose higher and higher as he flew through this vast world. Even so, he could still feel his pursuers gaining on him. He knew then that it would be impossible to simply shake them off like this.

Back then, the half-step Gold Immortal Aquafiend had taken action against Chen Feng. And although Chen Feng's father had beaten him back, Aquafiend also managed to gain a fair estimate of Chen Feng's strength. As such, Chen Feng believed that he would definitely be incapable of defeating these Heavenly Immortals. His only option was to run away. If it was a one-on-one battle, Chen Feng would have the courage to stay and fight. But Chen Feng knew that the other party would do anything to obtain the Longevity Tower. Rather, the fact that they were not mobilizing Gold Immortals showed that they did have some scruples about this.

This is the Immortal Plane. I should be able to find some place to hide here. In the past,  Chen Feng had killed off a good number of cultivators from the Immortal Plane. Thanks to the memories within their souls, Chen Feng was able to gain a slight understanding towards the Immortal Plane.

Due to that, Chen Feng searched for a place to hide as he swiftly flew forward. However, the Immortal Plane was simply too big. Everywhere he went, he saw unfamiliar lands. 

How troublesome! This is not the way to go. He had already flown across a distance of half a million kilometres. If this was the outer s.p.a.ce, he would already had flown across an entire star region. And yet, not only did Chen Feng fail to shake off his pursuers, they instead managed to slightly shorten the distance between them. Two of the pursuers were already attacking and torrents of sword energy shot towards Chen Feng. Thankfully, there was still a great distance between the two sides and the power of the attacks plummeted due to the distance. Thus, Chen Feng was able to easily evade them. After dealing with the attacks, Chen Feng was able to gain a slight understanding towards his pursuers and he grew even more concerned.

“Who? Who dares break into our Iron Blood Alliance's territory?” A blood-red stream of light flew forward, followed by a furious roar as two cultivators appeared out of nowhere. Wielding blood-coloured battle lances, they attempted to stop Chen Feng.

Earthen Immortals! Chen Feng was somewhat surprised, but he continued charging forward. For Chen Feng, these two cultivators who had appeared all of a sudden were akin to flies. In but the blink of an eye, the two cultivators had been ripped to pieces. They had failed to stop Chen Feng in the slightest.

Earthen Immortals. They are so weak. Still, the Iron Blood Alliance? Why does the name sound so familiar?

Right, Xue Luosha is from the Iron Blood Alliance in the Eastern Region. Back then, Xue Luosha was a high-level True Immortal who holds a certain status within the Iron Blood Alliance. In other words, the strongest combat power that this Iron Blood Alliance can field is only at the Heavenly Immortal stage. This won't do. That is still too weak. A number of thoughts swiftly flashed through Chen Feng's mind. 

“Who?”

“Someone broke in!”

“Hurry, a.s.semble!”

A series of disorderly voices rang out all of a sudden. Next, waves of auras surged skywards and Chen Feng was able to sense a high number of auras from Earthen Immortals. The number was so high that it shocked even Chen Feng. Instantly, Chen Feng was able to determine what was happening.

So, I've entered their camp. Looks like there is a war going on here. Still, no matter how many of them there are, their cultivation bases are simply not good enough. For Chen Feng, not even a million Earthen Immortals was worthy of his attention.

Due to that, Chen Feng was able to either easily evade all the various dazzling attacks that the soldiers fired at him or break the attacks with a wave of his hand. Even the many layers of great arrays there could not stop Chen Feng.

This won't do. Turning his head, Chen Feng saw his pursuers charging forward like a great river and tens of thousands of the soldiers from the Iron Blood Alliance were obliterated in their wake. 

Sigh! I ended up dragging these fellows down. Chen Feng sighed before turning to change his flight trajectory.

“Die!”

Like an awe-inspiring G.o.d of Thunder, a mighty-looking cultivator swung a great lightning hammer at Chen Feng's head.

“Scram!”

The cultivator was an Ascendant Immortal with quite the decent combat power, but Chen Feng did not have the time to play with him. With a swing of Chen Feng's hand, a booming sound rang out as the awe-inspiring G.o.d of Thunder was sent flying from a slap.

“Five Elemental Sword Array!”

A thick and well-developed astral sword struck Chen Feng's body, but Chen Feng did not even shake from the attack. Rather, the attack had failed to leave even a mark on his body and Chen Feng simply flew past the sword array before disappearing from sight.

The five cultivators there stared with widened eyes, shocked.

“Was that earlier a True Immortal?”

“He must be from the Mountains and Rivers Alliance. However, even if he's a True Immortal, coming here will only spell doom for him.”

“He has a death wis.h.!.+”

Chen Feng was oblivious to the exchange between the cultivators. He had entered an illusion array. This illusion array contained the will of a Heavenly Immortal and reality and falsehoods were intertwined as they changed unpredictably. Ever since this array was set up, it had successfully captured several True Immortals and even a Heavenly Immortal.

But it was nothing before Chen Feng. In the face of his Divine Eyes of Heavenly Insight, all the illusions were returned to their original form.

Chen Feng did not break the illusion array. He had plans for it. Waving his hand, he sent forth some flags. The flags formed a great killing array with a power surpa.s.sing that of the illusion array. And now, the flags merged with the illusion array. Chen Feng believed that this should help somewhat. Even stopping his pursuers for a slight moment would be a good thing.

Not long after Chen Feng left, his pursuers also broke into the illusion array and the great killing array that Chen Feng set up there activated. But the great killing array became like a flash in a pan, destroyed in an instant. It had failed to stop the pursuers in the slightest.

“Chen Feng, you will not be able to flee. You should just stop running!” The voice surged towards Chen Feng.

“Humph!”

Chen Feng responded with a thunderous harrumph, which unravelled the soundwaves surging towards him.

This is the Immortal Plane. There are many places that not even the various Celestial Planes dare to mess around with. I do not believe that I cannot overcome this calamity! Chen Feng scoffed and he dived into a mountain range.

“Who?!”

A lightning bolt struck Chen Feng, slowing his advance for a bit. However, Chen Feng reacted by increasing the speed at which he was fleeing.

Finally, an expert has appeared, but this is still not enough. Chen Feng waved his hand to send clumps of divine lightning out. They were Fire Lightning and Devastation Lightning. After Chen Feng threw them out, the surrounding s.p.a.ce, spanning a radius of hundreds of thousands of li, was thrown into a state of turmoil. As for Chen Feng, he pushed his Longevity Wings to its limits as he attempted to make use of the chaos to leave.

“Sir, you broke into our Iron Blood Alliance's territory for no reason. Shouldn't you give us an explanation for that?” A cultivator in scholarly attire flew up into the sky. Immediately after that, several more cultivators appeared. All of them were Heavenly Immortals. Chen Feng's eyes glinted as a beautiful-looking female cultivator appeared within Chen Feng's eyes.

When she saw Chen Feng, the female cultivator's face changed as well.

To think that I would encounter Xue Luosha here. No matter how you cut it, she is still a friend. I cannot let her die like this. After coming to that conclusion, Chen Feng sent Xue Luosha a secret vocal transmission.

After receiving his secret vocal transmission, Xue Luosha became astounded. Her feelings of shock kept growing and she flew down.

This woman sure is fast at making up her mind. Chen Feng was taken aback to see that. With a wave of his hand, the Blood Mustering Bead kept rotating on his palm and waves of b.l.o.o.d.y light charged forward. As a result, all the Heavenly Immortals blocking his path were swept aside.

“A Divine artifact! More, it also contains the grand dao of blood!” Although the Heavenly Immortals were sent flying from the move, they ended up falling into a state of incomparable madness. They seemingly became possessed as they stared at the Blood Mustering Bead in Chen Feng's hand.

“Consider yourselves lucky.” Chen Feng then turned around and left. To his surprise, the cultivators chose to charge at him again.

“Seriously, you fellows are seeking death here.” Chen Feng, however, ignored them. In his opinion, these higher-ups from the Iron Blood Alliance were all goners.
