The polar bear King, who was known as Sus, saw that Drazon didn't trust them, so he decided to act extra friendly, but the total opposite happened as he looked scary and big, hovering his tall figure over Drazon, causing Drazon to back up a little in fear. King Sus tried to rea.s.sure Drazon that he comes in peace with his scary-looking smile.
The Penguin King told King Sus to sit back down and to stop scaring the kid, this often happened as King Sus was soft in the heart and loved children, but due to his vast and mighty aura, he would usually scare them off causing him great sadness as even his kids were scared of him.
Drazon relaxed after seeing King Sus sit back down as he thought in his head, "one hit from this guy will send me to h.e.l.l and back." The other two kings also introduced themselves; the Penguin King was called Johnny, while the Seal King was called Luke.
The three kings ruled over this territory together; any invaders would get crushed by their combined might. Many years before, they were a separated tribe that used to get bullied by all the other tribes. After coming to terms with each other and building a stable territory together, they were able to establish a more reliable power within their territory, and they were never bullied again.
After a while Drazon finally told them that he was lost and trying to find his way back to the south, he used the war between the Phoenix and the Dragon Clan to cover up his teleportation skill by saying that he was running away from the Phoenix Clan and had ended up in the north.
The kings came to an understanding as they knew that would probably be the case. King Sus told Drazon that he could stay as long as he wanted and that his great-grandfather was friends with the dragon clan. In contrast, King Johnny told Drazon about the tournament coming up, and that he would love for Drazon to partic.i.p.ate in it, to gauge out his up-and-coming young trainees.
King Johnny could tell that Drazon was more durable than all the other kids in the territory, but he still wanted to motivate those kids for them to get stronger, knowing that even the Dragon Clan who had been defeated was still strong enough to hold their own.
After talking for a while, the Kings finally dismissed Drazon as they asked one of the guards to arrange for a place for him to stay in. Drazon felt lucky that he had met such friendly Kings who would let him join their tournament.
Usually, Kings would never let anybody difference from their clan members enter their tournaments for chances of them taking away their prizes. Still, this time the Kings figured even if Drazon were able to explore the new world and get something out of it, there would be no point since Drazon didn't also have a clan to go back to, and hopefully they will be able to convince Drazon into staying in their Clan.
They wanted to be able to nurture him and have him defend the territory for them as they recognized the potential that Drazon had. Drazon had no clue what they were thinking, but he calmly accepted the offer as he was given food to eat and a place to stay. Drazon had no complaints about that, and it was better than transversing through the icy snow
