In a spacious and bright cave, two identical figures stood facing each other. The one difference between the two figures was that one had fair skin and the other had silver.  

Dazed, Zhou Yuan stared at the silver figure for a good while before eventually suppressing his astonishment. He felt an inseverable special connection with the silver figure in front of him.

He felt that the silver figure before his eyes was a part of him.   

It was somewhat like…a doppelganger-like existence.

In the past, Silver Shadow could only form silver armor around Zhou Yuan to increase his strength, but it had now become an independent being. 

To a certain extent, it was now a special Heavenly Sun expert who possessed a Genesis Qi foundation of 1 billion.

“Silver Shadow?” Zhou Yuan tried to call it.   

The silver figure didn’t move and seemed extremely stiff, but its silver eyes rolled slightly, and a flicker of spirituality flashed within them.

It came from Silver Shadow.

Zhou Yuan carefully sensed the information contained within the wave of energy. The information was very vague, but he still understood the vague meaning behind it...

“Teach what?” A puzzled expression came to Zhou Yuan’s face; then, a moment later, he looked at Silver Shadow in disbelief. “You mean, teach you Genesis techniques?!” 

Silver Shadow slowly came to stand in front of Zhou Yuan and stretched out its hand.

Zhou Yuan was silent for a moment. Then, he also reached out and touched Silver Shadow’s palm with his.

During that moment of contact, Zhou Yuan felt his perception directly enter and spread throughout Silver Shadow’s body. He could detect many mysteries within it. He even noticed a Genesis Qi stamp, which likely formed during the many years Silver Shadow was stored in Zhou Yuan’s body

The Genesis Qi stamp was so deep that it was unerasable. This meant Zhou Yuan could completely destroy Silver Shadow from the inside out with a single thought. 

Then, Zhou Yuan felt a mysterious orifice somewhere in Silver Shadow’s body.

A light dawned on Zhou Yuan. 

That could hold a Genesis art.

Zhou Yuan pondered for a moment, then suddenly thought about the Great Flame Devil’s cultivation method in his heart. At that moment, he could feel a stream of heat in his body pour into Silver Shadow and accumulate around the orifice.

An hour later.  

The originally transparent hole turned crimson, as if lava had interwoven and formed several ancient and complicated patterns.

Zhou Yuan opened his eyes, looking expectantly at Silver Shadow.

"Silver Shadow, activate…the Great Flame Devil!" 

Silver Shadow drew back one step and closed its silver eyes. A second later, its eyes snapped wide, and its silver pupils were crimson. Its silver body was streaked with red, lava-like patterns, and it erupted with a berserk red-hot wave. 

It was undoubtedly the Great Flame Devil!   

Zhou Yuan drew a deep breath, and his eyes lit up. So this was Silver Shadow’s most powerful ability! It could swiftly cultivate the Genesis art Zhou Yuan had learned in an almost clone-like way! In this way, Silver Shadow seemed no different than a human, but it was superior in that it was physically stronger and could recover rapidly.

And now it had learned a body Genesis technique like the Great Flame Devil. Based purely on bodily strength, Zhou Yuan felt even he might not be able to beat Silver Shadow.

The most terrifying thing was that Zhou Yuan found that Silver Shadow’s orifice could multiply as it evolved. When that happened, it was unimaginable what sort of astonishing level its strength could reach if Zhou Yuan passed on more powerful Genesis arts he had cultivated.

In the future, Zhou Yuan could become two with a shake of his body. This would be hugely advantageous in battle.

Although a foundation of 1 billion was considered weak among many opponents that Zhou Yuan had faced before, it didn’t matter. Silver Shadow’s Genesis Qi foundation had huge potential to grow if it continued to swallow more ancestral qi treasures. 

Zhou Yuan's eyes beamed with joy. Silver Shadow’s transformation was undoubtedly a huge surprise to him. He hadn’t fed those ancestral qi treasures to it in vain.

He told Silver Shadow to disperse the Great Flame Devil, and he felt the changes within its body again.

"Hey, the red light and the red patterns in the orifice have become weaker…"

Zhou Yuan gasped and immediately scratched his head. 

Does this mean the Genesis arts that Silver Shadow obtains from me have a consumable nature? Will it disappear once used too many times? I have to replenish it once they disappear?

“This isn’t a huge problem…”  

Although this was a little flaw, Zhou Yuan wasn’t too disappointed. This kind of consumable property was normal. It would be even more unbelievable if he could pass Genesis arts he had worked so hard to learn onto Silver Shadow without any drawbacks.

Perhaps, Silver Shadow could reach that level if it became a true Saint treasure.

Zhou Yuan cast his gaze to the cave entrance and saw Qin Lian darting over.

"Did something happen?" Zhou Yuan asked, seeing the suspicious expression on her face.

Qin Lian came over and handed Zhou Yuan something, which seemed to be a scroll of parchment. "Someone secretly gave this thing to us and said to give it to you.”

Zhou Yuan found it strange. He received the parchment and wrapped it in Genesis Qi. It was only after he confirmed there wasn’t any abnormality inside the scroll that he slowly unfolded it. There was nothing but a line of writing.

But it was the writing that caused Zhou Yuan's pupils to shrink and the murderous intent to rise in the depths of his eyes.

"Wang Xuanyang plans to attack Su Youwei and seize her yin source to perfect his Yin Yang Peach Blossom Fan.”
