Chapter 3447 Zanqua's Ruthlessness

"Is she a bandit or a wicked path executioner?"

Davis couldn't help but lightly laugh as he saw Zanqua's actions.

She was famous for being ruthless. Even more, she was extremely ruthless to her own group of bandits, and hence, everyone feared her. Her infamy wasn't faked.

However, he couldn't understand why she would treat them this way.

If she was going to kill them, wouldn't getting them to battle it out with the Northern Sphere Bandits be more beneficial?

'Is it because they know her secrets?'

Davis thought but shook his head.

He hadn't soulscoured Paleen but had investigated a few other subordinates who seemed to be only below Paleen but closer to Zanqua.

Paleen was strong, but she was quite new in terms of staying near Zanqua's side, so she shouldn't know much about her. As far as he knew, Paleen was constantly testing Zanqua's bottom line and apparently even held some affection for her, wanting to get Zanqua into bed.

From what he heard, dual cultivation was rampant here, even between women.

Even to ordinary male cultivators, these women were scary as they were the type to prey rather than lie on the bed and submit. They're female bandits, so they'll try to plunder their cultivation without missing a beat.

He had seen them prey on men with his soul sense, so he knew this was true.

Still, he didn't think Zanqua was the same as she had bloodl.u.s.t rather than l.u.s.t, but certain memories he had seen from the subordinates said otherwise, as she could've preyed on men for their cultivation.

One of those memories was her simply taking a strong man into her chamber and coming out days later with that man having disappeared. It supposedly happened every few months, but it was unknown if she had simply eaten that man or 'eaten' and disposed of.

Nonetheless, this kind of action made every female bandit here respect and fear her.

It was also what attracted Paleen and the others to Zanqua and listen to her words rather than the Northern Sphere Bandit Emperor because the Northern Sphere Bandit Emperor once owned this group.

At that time, this bandit group was called the Cleaving Sword Gang and was helmed by a fat woman as the leader but later seemed to have died from Zanqua's hands, eventually breaking off from the Northern Sphere Bandit Emperor's Alliance before rejoining the alliance as the Cleaving Wolf Gang, a sizeable power that had the power to protect itself.

It was rumored that even the Northern Sphere Bandit Emperor stayed clear of her due to her ruthless methods. However, that killing formation also intrigued him, so he guessed that it was partly the killing formation's prowess that the Northern Sphere Bandit Emperor decided to stay clear of her.

Nonetheless, he had thought this bandit group would be a bit unified since they could go against their almighty bandit alliance leader, but now Zanqua was slaughtering them like she was killing her sworn enemies.

*Bzzz!~*

Azure light shone around the palace before a sword light slashed across the mountains, causing a portion of the rocks to be carved off along with a bunch of bodies.

"Ahhh!"

The female bandits screamed as they flew or ran away miserably.

They didn't even ask why their gang leader was doing this and ran for their lives as though there was no way they could be spared.

Many azure sword lights slashed across the mountains for a brief time before everything fell silent.

It wasn't long before Zanqua slaughtered most of the bandits while a few escaped. However, she didn't give chase and sat down in front of the ruins, panting ever so lightly while smiling as though she finally had some time to unload her thirst for bloodl.u.s.t.

However, her expression froze as she saw her two sisters descend in front of her.

She stood up, her expression flickering as she glanced at her bloodied broadsword before turning to look at Davis, who was behind them.

"You-! Why have you brought them here!? Do you want to die!?"

Zanqua raised her broadsword and pointed at Davis, her expression full of anger.

"Shut up!"

Lanqua shouted, appearing equally p.i.s.sed, which caused Zanqua to be dumbfounded. The latter clenched her teeth and growled.

"Why are you two here!?"

"I could ask you the same thing. Why are you here, slaughtering your own people?" Lanqua narrowed her eyes in disgust.

Such a look caused Zanqua's expression to churn as his breathing became rapid.

m

Zanqua tried to calm her breathing, but she couldn't. She looked away, slowly speaking her thoughts.

"Even so," Lanqua's gaze trembled, "I don't want you to be doing this anymore. Come back to us and live freely."

"I already told you."

Zanqua shuddered, "There is nothing you can do to help me. I'm already a lost cause, and the only thing I can do is kill the source that brought calamity upon us, the Northern Sphere Bandit Emperor. If I don't kill him, then I don't know for what reason I did the things I did to survive. Are you going to deny me the only thing that could grant me peace of mind?"

"No! I'm saying let us help you. Let us carry your-"

"Enough!" Zanqua screamed out, tears threatening to flood out of her eyes.

"You! Take them to your home and impregnate them all you want. Never let them come near me again!"

She pointed at Davis and screamed again before jumping into the air and shooting away.

"Panqa!"

Lanqua yelled out. Her azure hair floated ever so lightly as azure light filled the air.

Panqa also looked the same, but her expression turned more ferocious.

Peak-Level Immortal King's undulations rocked the atmosphere, causing the ruins to tremble in their wake. Their figures pounced, and their bodies shot through the air like a bolt of azure lightning. They bent their bodies like they were wolves and traversed through the air with an incredible speed, quickly catching up with Zanqua.

Zanqua turned to look back in shock.

Two azure lights were coming at her from diagonal angles, causing her to raise her broadsword.

*Clang!~*

The sound of metal clas.h.i.+ng could be heard before Zanqua suddenly found herself sent flying down.

*Bang!~*

She crashed into a mountain while Panqa and Lanqua flew in a circle before appearing to stand together in the skies, their nails elongated and deadly like they were claws. Their fey features seemed to show up, especially with their tails flailing and sharp canine teeth hidden within their mouths.

Zanqua stood up, feeling her entire body ache.

The prowess her two sisters displayed was beyond her comprehension as the two of them exuded a might that was almost equal to that of Level Four Immortal Emperor, leaving her shocked.

Even her broadsword had almost cracked from the impact, as she could see it having a nick at the edge.

"If you don't come back or allow us to help you, we will simply be taking you back forcefully, as that is what you seem to understand."

Lanqua flicked her hand, displaying her sharp claws, "And don't you ever dare disrespect our husband again. His mercy towards you is only because of us. If you do it next time, I will personally claw the other side of your mouth, make you more beautiful than you are right now."

"You went too far, elder sister." Panqa also uttered at Zanqua.

It seemed like they had enough of their elder sister's rude comments and no longer cared or were accommodating to her past.

Behind them, though, Davis slowly arrived.

He was a bit shocked to hear them speak for him. He didn't think they would admonish their rude sister or be more accommodating to her the more she acted rude due to her past, but it seemed like they knew how to put their foot down.

'Could this change be because I had a talk with them and made their desires clearer?'

Davis smiled, knowing this also made them strengthen their love for him.

He felt coming here was worth more as he got to know more about Panqa and Lanqua. He had also seen how they engaged in battle, so he couldn't see them losing ground against Zanqua's ruthless battling style either.

However, he narrowed his eyes, appearing to have another idea.
