Chapter 3166 Heading Inside The Hidden Temple

The Astral Pill Upper Realm's disciple suddenly felt the ominous pressure disappear, allowing him to take a breather. He panned his gaze around, wondering if he had made a fool of himself, but the others around him necessarily didn't seem better off than him, their expressions all frigid while they dared not look this way.

"What's your name?" Davis asked calmly.

"My name is Manasiz."

The Astral Pill Upper Realm's disciple cupped his hands, "I'm just a physician who got kicked out by the hidden temple because I made a mistake during the third level, and since I'm half-responsible for looking after the shelter that was built by many formation experts from Upper Realms, I will soon take my leave with them."

Davis nodded his head.

A group of five from any faction usually consisted of the following people: a formation expert, physician, alchemist, forgemaster, and a leader with superb prowess, namely a Kingly Monarch or an Empyreal Monarch. If the group was from an Upper Realm, he could see that all could Kingly Monarchs with various capabilities while having an Empyreal Monarch.

However, he could sense that Manasiz was not even a Kingly Monarch. In that case, did his healing capabilities overwhelm the odds and allow him to be here?

'No wonder he's this scared he's a physician with a good heart, looking out for people'

Davis believed the other party was most likely a non-combatant.

"What about the other three Celestial Fairies? Who captured them?"

"This I heard that the Seven-Colored Phoenix Upper Realm, Azure Dragon Upper Realm, and Eternal Frost Upper Realm have them, but I also heard that they were being treated with the utmost respect."

"Is that so?"

"Yes, I think so."

Manasiz nodded twice, causing Davis to acknowledge him with a slight nod.

Considering that Celestial Fairies were also beauties who could move a man's heart, some men with the slightest bit of morals might consider courting them while giving them protection. Perhaps even women might pity them and take them under their wing, but he also felt that was unlikely due to their jealousy. Still, he knew these three Upper Realms had the strength to protect the Celestial Fairies if they wanted.

Nonetheless, he waved his hand, "Let's go."

Manasiz moved out of the way while Davis flew forward with his people. A gust of wind brushed past them, causing their hair to dance, creating a profound spectacle where they walked past every one of the Transcendents in a relaxed fas.h.i.+on- unimpeded.

No one dared to attack them while Manasiz led the disciples who left Davis's group towards the shelter.

"Nadia, keep an eye on the so-called shelter with your doppelganger."

"Master wants me to protect them?"

"No. If it doesn't infuriate you, you don't need to take any action. Also, kill any survivors of the Fire Phoenix Clan and the Cyan Soul Rat Clan if you spot them. Don't leave them alive even if you have to make everyone in the shelter your enemy."

"Understood."

Nadia unleashed a doppelganger silently, her ephemeral and concealed figure pouncing behind and left without even causing the breeze to sway, even traversing along with it.

Soon, Davis and the others made it past everyone and arrived at the temple's entrance.

It was concealed beneath a towering cliff, covered in lush ivy and moss that seemed to embrace the stone surface like nature's own creation. At the threshold, a grand stone archway adorned with intricate carvings of mythical creatures and celestial symbols stood there tall with a majestic aura.

Beyond it, a stone-paved courtyard stretches out, featuring a tranquil lotus pond at its center, where vibrant pink and white lotus flowers bloom, symbolizing purity and enlightenment. The main temple building appeared to be an architectural masterpiece, with sweeping curved roofs adorned with vibrant green glazed tiles that glisten in the sunlight. The eaves of the temple were adorned with golden dragons and phoenixes, their images vividly capturing the harmony of yin and yang.

Davis sensed a dense gathering of heaven and earth energy here, but he also knew it wasn't a natural gathering but the work of formations as if there was a plethora of Immortal Crystal Vein Sources here, then the apocalyptic flames would've already burned this place as it would've had access to from the core of the realm.

Regardless, Davis and the others entered inside.

Inside the temple, the walls are adorned with ornate murals depicting scenes from ancient legends and spiritual teachings, mostly alchemists and forgemasters enduring their trials with their cauldrons and forge tables. Candlelight danced across these paintings, creating an atmosphere of reverence and mysticism.

There was also a strange smell, but Davis quickly found out that it wasn't harmful. It was incense, carrying with it the fragrant notes of sandalwood and spices, a scent that lingers as a gentle reminder of the sacred.

It appeared like everything here wanted to be treated with respect, but Davis couldn't help but scoff as the young geniuses paid no attention and broke every piece of furniture around it, the battle marks testament to their wildness.

Heading further inside, Davis finally came across the pa.s.sageway below.

Torches illuminated the path downwards, making Davis remember the time when he first ventured into a temple to find a route to the cultivation world. It filled him with nostalgia, but after hearing about the tragic end of Fairy Selene Lunaris and even Haizen Rubyshroud, whom he fought with and came to have a bit of respect for his sacrifice despite him not matching up to him, combined with losing the Apocalyptic Flame Essence, he wasn't in the mood to be relis.h.i.+ng such memories.

He was in the mood to cause a bloodbath.

That's why he couldn't almost suppress his killing intent when hearing the details from Manasiz.

Nonetheless, from the memories of the a.s.sa.s.sins who were kicked out of this place by the others, he knew the pathway and the challenges that followed. It was a labyrinth network of underground chambers, where torches illuminate the way through intricate tunnels and chambers adorned with statues of revered masters of ancient times. The deeper one ventured, the higher the difficulty of the challenges became.

Still, on the first floor underground, Davis could see many people once they arrived.

He could even see Fairy Ruyan of the Golden Rose Lower Realm, Fairy Nila of the Ivory Moon Sanctuary Lower Realm, and General Jerald of the Thunderforge Citadel Lower Realm. They were transcendents whom he had fought before, their expressions plastered with annoyance, but once they saw him, their eyes widened, turning to look at each other in shock.

It was like they never expected him to appear here.

"So many Immortals? You r.e.t.a.r.ds are from that treacherous First Haven World!? How did you all get down here?"

Davis hadn't said anything, but there was already someone screaming out with hostility, causing him to know that anyone who had fought him didn't bother to spread the news about him because they had seen what he could do and wanted that to happen to the others to reduce compet.i.tion.
