Chapter 3047 Setting Out Into The Unknown
""
Zora Luan returned her gaze to Davis again.
She wanted to say that it wasn't kindness that made her stop Bing Luli from killing the giant blue bird.
Her Blue Luan Clan was already in dire straits, having lost so many of their people and, consequently, losing their bloodline, so she imagined if she could somehow befriend this beast and bring it back, perhaps, she would have brought glory to the clan.
After all, it was a Level Three Immortal Emperor Beast.
It would've been a good addition to their ranks, but now, she came to know that it was not intelligent, allowing her to understand that even if she brought it back, her people would decisively turn it into blood essence.
However, with its impurity, even if she absorbed this fellow bird beast's blood, she came to understand that she wouldn't improve but experience degradation.
Sighing gently, she raised her hand, forming a hundred-meter-long icy spear similar to Bing Luli's. Icy mist congealed into a thick icy spear, rus.h.i.+ng towards the frozen giant blue bird and causing it to shatter upon impact.
It pierced through the skull of the Feral Beast, bringing out a core the size of a small house along with it. But as it was pulled by Zora Luan and landed on her hand, it shrunk to the size of a head, glowing with a cobalt blue glow that radiated an immense chill that even Immortal Stage experts would find it hard to survive if they stayed beside it for a day.
"Keep it. It should be useful to you."
Davis gestured at his senior sister, causing her to blink.
"Are you sure? This is a Level Three Immortal Emperor Stage Magical Beast Core"
Zora Luan couldn't tell if this was a Blue Luan Bird as its bloodline had degraded so much that it was unrecognizable what kind of bird it truly was, but she a.s.sumed that it was a mix of many as she figured procreation would be rampant among beasts that are instinctual. Even if they became intelligent through nurturing, a single or two kinds of bloodline would at least take over at the end, giving it its ident.i.ty.
Nonetheless, even though its species was unidentifiable, its core still radiated powerful icy energy that would sell well over its buy price, netting at the very least five hundred thousand or even a million High-Level Immortal Crystals since treasures of these grades were difficult to obtain!
"Well, it seems that there's plenty more where that came from."
However, Davis chuckled as he turned to look into the distance, and indeed, although vague, Zora Luan could sense hundreds of auras moving about or staying in a place. It seems like although these Feral Beasts lacked intelligence, they at least had the instinct to conceal themselves during a hunt, unlike Savage Beasts that blare their auras.
She didn't know where they were, but this land was practically a treasure trove if all it had were these Feral Beasts lurking around!
'Revive I could revive my clan with these treasures...'
Zora Luan's gaze burned with a blue light.
After collecting it's frozen yet shattered corpse, she quickly stormed off with them.
Sometime later, Orion Chestwave's group walked out.
Seeing the signs of battle, they were stunned.
The group they had thought to be weaker actually got past them first? They slightly turned to look at Orion Chestwave's expression but saw that he was only momentarily taken aback before resuming his haughty gaze.
"I'm going to carve my own path through this unknown land, so whether you two follow me or go join them is up to your decision. However, I won't take deserters back, so good luck!"
He left in another direction, causing Magnus Irvin and Asher Mooncrest to reluctantly follow him. Their guts said that Fairy Myria knew this place more than it meets the eye, but they were so enc.u.mbered and chaotic that they felt they would be treated lesser, especially with their rivals being the Emperor of Death's women.
In another location of similar surroundings, a group also exited, whereupon they were immediately besieged by Feral Beasts.
Two pythons and three boars attacked them, each one of them more than a hundred meters tall and wide. They were the size of huge palaces, their hulking figures moving like splitting mountains and flowing rivers.
I think you should take a look at
Just their wretched appearances alone would cause a normal Immortal Emperor to freeze in despair, so much less was needed to be said about their undulations that reached Level Two Immortal Emperor Beast Stage.
However, no one was injured despite being ambushed. Instead, they even easily dispatched these threats like it was no one's business.
The two pythons were ripped from head to toe by a golden-robed man with a burly build appearing tall and imposing. As for the other three boars, they seemed to be taken care of by three individual characters whose appearances differed but had the same verdant green-robed outfit, blending with the scenery.
There were also many others, but they seemed to be full of disdain for even wanting to make a move.
This group was none other than the alliance made up of the powers owning Domains from the Northern Divide. It seemed that they had managed to not separate when they were sent away from the entrance of the secret realm.
Within this group, there were many beautiful women, one of them was wearing a golden robe over a white dress, appearing gorgeous as she let her blonde hair run over the side of her shoulder.
"Strange. Isn't this secret realm restricted to Immortal King Stage? How come there's Immortal Emperor Beasts here?"
A woman who looked similar to Rea Tyriel asked with narrowed eyes. A golden cloth veiled her face, her lips moving as her melodious voice resounded. The others turned to look at her as a white-robed man opened his mouth.
"It may be because they are the aboriginals here, and we're the invaders?"
She turned, looked at her elder brother Rylan Tyriel and shook her head.
"In that case, if Mid-Stage Immortal Emperors are present, we're done for."
"That remains to be seen, Raelyn."
Abruptly, the burly man who ripped apart the two giant pythons walked towards Raelyn Tyriel while carrying them, holding them over their fangs with just his hands. He didn't even seem to be worried about the poison dripping from these fangs, making him appear daring and suave.
"Because even if that's the case, I, Leon Alistair, will protect you with all my power."
Raelyn Tyriel cast him a disinterested glance, not even opting to reply before she moved out. Leon Alistair didn't seem to take offense. Instead, he even returned a glare at the ones who glared at him for interacting with her, challenging them with just his gaze.
However, the others also started moving. But there was a man amongst them who seemed to be looking at the skies, his brows furrowed and his eyes full of confusion.
'Strange, I can sense this is somewhere in the Three-Layered Universe, but I can't connect with my true body as though I'm still in the First Haven World. Did the First Haven World expand or consume a portion of the true immortal world? Impossible!'
His gaze shook as he sensed countless possibilities and consequences the world master would face for that kind of action.
"Arrain Lanfric, are you not coming?"
However, a voice called him out, causing the light in his pupils to momentarily flicker before he blinked and smiled at the outsider his family recruited before looking at his other three siblings who were part of the expedition of the Lanfric Family.
"Of course, I'm coming. I was just wondering how beautiful the skies were when I expected caves or other forms of enclosed surroundings to exist..."
His siblings smiled, knowing that their brother loved nature, but little did they know that their elder brother was possessed by a vile enchanter.
'Time to hunt a native and soulscour to know what's going on...'
Vile Enchanter Kieran Hartley thought through Arrain Lanfric's mind, making the latter have this urge in order to find more about this world and the adventures and treasures lying in it when the former's true intent was to find out how he could contact his true body to make this a hunting ground of his making.????????.???
'My apologies, Emperor of Death I decided to capture you and allow you to grow in my garden in order to have a better and risk-free harvest'
Arrain Lanfric's smile turned wicked, but he didn't even know that, continuing on with his group.
