Chapter 2626 Blocking The Plague?

Chapter 2626 Blocking The Plague?

Davis's actions instantly caused the expressions of the others to change, and they instantly took out their weapons, their undulations roaring in the cave. However, they didn't attack him, only looking at this with shock and rage gleaming from their eyes as he walked past them with a bunch of women.

They also saw that they were true disciples and recognized Mystic Diviner Hailac, whom they didn't want to offend easily as it was not beneficial for them.

"b.a.s.t.a.r.d... wait...!"

? Yulisez stood up while holding his cheek, which had gone red, and imprinted with a shape of a palm. His eyes turned bloodshot as he glared at Davis, wobbling as he straightened himself out as his undulations began to burst from his body.

Its sharp and piercing intent caused Davis to narrow his brows as he came to a stop, turning to look at Yulisez.

"Didn't you hear that my Tanya has won the inheritance? There should be no reason for you to stop me anymore."

"Hmph! Lies! Even if your woman has obtained the inheritance, you should wait for her to come out before uttering such nonsense."

Davis frowned. It looks like the information that one of his women had gained the inheritance was unbelievable, but with Tanya being unrecognized by the disciples, he could understand their thought process, but at this moment, he raised his hand, clenching his fist.

"Ahh!" Yulisez abruptly clenched his head as though he was feeling a ma.s.sive headache, his eyes trembling, "You, what did you do!?"

"You couldn't even find my slither of death energy residing in your head, yet you dare to yap your mouth in front of me?"

Davis clenched his fist more, causing Yulisez to writhe in everyone's horrified gaze. Abruptly, ominous, pitch-black energy began swirling around Yulisez's head.

The people from his group were startled beyond compare, hurriedly retreating from the plague that was known as the Emperor of Death.

"Ahh!! Fi... Fine...! I was wrong! Let me go...!"

Yulisez's voice quivered, and he finally started panicking as he could sense the sliver of death energy was invading his soul, reaping his soul essence as they tried to dissipate and collapse his soul sea. He found out that he couldn't stop it as it was extremely powerful, and even with his spear intent exploding with his soul realm, it had already invaded and become entrenched in his soul, refusing to dissipate.

"If I recall correctly, the rules didn't say anything about crippling another disciple outside unless it was done maliciously for no reason. Since you couldn't understand what I was saying and tried to attack me using your spear, wouldn't it be better for you to become a true r.e.t.a.r.d?"

Davis raised his brows, his voice chilling. His death stare simply caused Yulisez's group to stray further away from him, appearing to have abandoned him.

But at this moment, an icy intent exploded from the spear, momentarily disrupting Davis's power as it appeared before Yulisez. The latter instantly took out and crushed something in his hand, causing a spatial vortex to appear behind him as he jumped and disappeared.

"..."

Davis blinked at the scene, becoming astonished by Yulisez's escaping speed.

His death energy wouldn't have been completely erased as long as he was in control of it. For Yulisez, who used a spatial talisman to escape, he should've been able to make that difference, or Davis felt that he wouldn't have made such a move.

Or was it purely because of fear?

Davis didn't know, but he had no intentions for the other party other than to teach him a lesson and allow the others to comprehend what messing with him would come with. He wanted to let them know the consequences, but he had escaped. However, Davis could only shake his head.

"The s.p.a.ce here is heavily restricted. The chances he would die in a spatial storm instead of reappearing elsewhere is extremely high."

With his voice resounding out, he continued to make his way to the inner zone of the inheritance, where Nadia and the others remained.

In another location, adorned by icicles and a lot of icy crystal shapes proliferating in a large part of the terrain, creating a blue light that lit the cave, a spatial vortex appeared.

A tall man with a golden-robed stepped out, and the moment he did so, he instantly checked his soul sea and saw that the whirling death energy inside him no longer acted as crazily and monstrously as before him. It was only trying to eradicate his soul pa.s.sively, but he could deal with it as long as he had some time.

"Phew... safe-"

Yulisez suddenly froze. With a slight pan of his head, he understood that he had practically jumped into death's maws as he stared at the hundreds of Unfettered Ice Fiends looking at him with eerie smiles on their faces.

"Ah... that f.u.c.king b.a.s.t.a.r.d!"

Just as he reacted, cursing Davis loudly, the Unfettered Ice Fiends pounced on him from all sides. He stabbed into one of their eyes, causing their heads to explode, and waved horizontally, cutting apart many abdomens in a single move.

Ice chilled the s.p.a.ce as it covered the area instantly, freezing many hands that coveted his head. But at this moment, a finger with a huge claw slashed apart his arm, causing him to lose his black-golden spear.

He reached out his other hand, intending to recall it, when numerous hands grabbed his head, shoulder, and legs, respectively, pulling him as they ripped him apart.

"Ahhh!"

Bones cracked, and flesh was severed savagely.

A fountain of blood spattered from his body. However, he was still alive and watched himself get eaten as one of them directed his gaze at his remains and finally, a huge tongue wrapped around his severed head, blocking his view before he was swallowed and everything he could perceive and think turned into nothing, leaving him deader than dead within an instant.

A horde of Unfettered Ice Fiends rapidly ate the Yulisez to death, and despite being fifteenth-ranked of the true disciples who have come to the Mercurial Blitz Ice Valley, he suffered the most helpless and unjustified death of them all!
