Davis and Lea Weiss only had eyes for each other at this moment.

Holding the collar of his wet purple robe with both her hands, Lea Weiss moved her head and smacked her lips on him, wanting to experience that feeling that made her heart flutter with overwhelming emotions.

Without missing a beat, Davis also held the back of her nape and kissed her crimson lips. Her beautiful face that seemed desperate for him made him feel giddy, and the warm heat of her body in the cold water was a source of immense pleasure for him, not to mention that his other hand couldn't help but roam over her silky, wet crimson robe that clearly outlined her assets.

They drifted towards the riverbank under the wave they created before finally leaving their wet lips that were wet with saliva, noticing how intense they were with each other as they gasped for breath. Especially, Lea Weiss looked at him with passionate eyes while gasping, making him want to eat the ripe and mature fruit that he had in his embrace.

Nevertheless, the fact that he spent so much time logically thinking about this matter left Davis feeling so stupid! Stupid holding himself back when it was apparent that she would've accepted him regardless of how he took her.

If he knew that it would come down to this, he would've taken her when he woke her up!

However, he floated while carrying her, getting out of the water before making it to the tall woods beside the riverbank.

Davis let Lea Weiss go to make her feel relaxed, and as expected, she ended up turning around, placing both her hands on her heaving bosoms as she couldn't believe what she had done. However, she bit her lips and turned to look at him with misty eyes.

The woman in front of him had loose crimson hair and wet crimson robes that perfectly aligned her curvy assets, especially her perky bottom. However, it didn't invoke his lust but made him feel more than what he felt for her before. There was no pity anymore but only possessive feelings of wanting to make her his woman.

"Hold my hand…."

Davis released a breath as he smiled at her words. He walked to her but didn't grasp her hand. Instead, he hugged her from behind as he wrapped his arms around her soft and thin waist, causing her to tremble as she felt his warmth embrace her. She did not feel uncomfortable as she thought she would but felt relaxed, laying her head on his shoulder before she turned to look at his face with captivating eyes.

"Can I really love you…?

"Looks like you finally made up your mind."

Davis kept his smile as he nodded, while Lea Weiss became shy as she looked away on receiving his confirmation.

"I… I can't help myself. I like… want to be with you. I want to stay together with you… but… I'm harming Shirley… I still don't know what to do… or even if I made the right decision…."

Lea Weiss spoke out her thoughts as confusion and sadness became apparent.

Davis wanted to answer her question right away that Shirley wouldn't be opposed to it, but then, he wanted to know.

"Was it any different in your Heart Demon Tribulation?"

Lea Weiss jerked as she turned to look at him as her eyes trembled.

"I don't know…."

Davis pursed her lips, already knowing that she was lying or didn't want to say.

"Just say what happened… you owe me an explanation. Besides, I want to get to know more about you and your thoughts. I know very little about you, Lea, so be truthful to me, okay…?"

Hearing his soft words that were spoken with a gentle expression, Lea Weiss's misgivings melted. She took a deep breath before her lips started to move as though she was cast a love spell.

But at the moment after I withstood the ninth strike of the heavenly tribulation, you and your entire bevy of women came to seek my aid because you were suddenly ambushed and hunted down by the entire wicked path… You also said that your Alstreim Family was destroyed and needed to ascend along with me."

On the other hand, Davis was speechless as that was some vivid explanation. Basically, she was saying that he violated her and blamed his shortcomings on her?

How was that ideal? Did she have this kind of fantasy? Or was it because that the Heart Demon Tribulation had a hint of realistic feeling to it so that she wouldn't be able to differentiate from reality?

Davis didn't know which of the two, but he couldn't help but smile, "Who was it that lusted after you?"

Davis nodded his head, believing her words.

When he faced his Heart Demon Tribulation during Tia's heavenly tribulation, he had faced with a vague entity who also tried to rob him of his Evelynn. Perhaps, the answer to her Heart Demon Tribulation was to understand and accept him or forget about him as that was her intent in invoking her heavenly tribulation. But since she failed to do the latter and remained indecisive for some time, she failed the tribulation and later fainted.

After all, there seemed to be some time limit to this so-called Heart Demon Tribulation as the tribulation clouds seemed to disperse.

Thinking like this, Davis couldn't help but want to make love with her and assure her. He closed his eyes for a few moments before his eyes opened, flashing with a passionate light.

Davis sucked on her earlobe and fair white neck while placing gentle kisses, "Perhaps, you will become scared of betraying your own morality and leave me, trying to ascend again foolishly. Davis rasped over her ear as he kept feeling her up, wanting her to get into the mood. However, Lea Weiss bit her lips as she struggled in his embrace. Noticing her movements, he saw that she was overly reluctant and controlled himself, letting her go. But, she didn't escape from his embrace but reached out her hand and placed it on his cheek, her eyes looking misty from all the teasing as she turned to look into his sapphire eyes.

"Don't be so foolish… I'm not going anywhere, especially after I obtained you..."

Lea Weiss uttered with gentleness, vastly different from her prideful and cold voice, which made Davis widen his eyes.

"Then what's wrong?"

"Killing the Deprived Soulstir Emperor before he could ascend is more important. Once he ascends, not only will we be unable to do anything, but he will have an advantage over us. When we ascend, immortals would already know about us and come to apprehend or kill us. They would never let us grow!"

Looking at Lea Weiss appear firm, Davis's confused expression faded, replaced with a heartened expression on his face as he reached out his hand caressed her cheek.

However, Davis reached out his hand and captured her wrist, lifting her up as he cornered her to a trunk, his eyes looking tempestuous as he held her cheeks.

"... become mine."

Lea Weiss's mind had already stopped working at this point that she couldn't help but nod when her crimson lips were suddenly taken again.
