Chapter 2427 Expensive Soul Illusion Silver! The Mysterious s.p.a.ce Realm s.p.a.ce! (5)
However, the prices of the other materials were too expensive.
"Maybe we should wait a little longer. 2,900 points aren't that easy to come by," Round Ball said, patting its round head.
"It seems we have no choice," w.a.n.g Teng replied.
"By the way, weren't you supposed to attend the exchange summit organized by the Secondary Career Alliance? It's said that if you get first place, you'll receive quite a few rewards. Perhaps the Virtual Universe Corporation might buy them, and then you can exchange them for points," Round Ball suddenly remembered something and said.
"That's not a bad idea." w.a.n.g Teng rubbed his chin, his eyes gleaming, "It seems I should strive for first place even more."
"I wonder what kind of geniuses from all over the universe will appear at this exchange summit? After all, they are talents from across the universe, and there might be someone surpa.s.sing you," Round Ball hesitated, "That's a gathering of secondary profession geniuses."
"Well, let's just wait and see," w.a.n.g Teng chuckled lightly, exuding confidence.
"You're confident," Round Ball remarked.
w.a.n.g Teng didn't say much more, leaving the study. As soon as he stepped outside, he saw Rofort drinking tea in the hall.
w.a.n.g Teng gave him this authority. As Rofort was his guardian, he had the right to enter this Constellation Mansion when w.a.n.g Teng entered the virtual universe.
"Rofort, what are you doing here?" w.a.n.g Teng descended the stairs, smiling.
w.a.n.g Teng didn't need to be overly polite because he was the owner of a G.o.d-stage prodigy contract, holding a high position in the Virtual Universe Corporation, even comparable to Rofort.
This was what Rofort told him.
"I saw you enter the virtual universe so I followed to see if you needed anything. You can ask me directly if you have any questions." Rofort smiled.
"I have something to ask you," w.a.n.g Teng's mind suddenly stirred. He walked over to the sofa and sat down, asking, "Do you happen to know how I can earn points right now?"
"Why, have you already checked out the Virtual Universe Corporation's treasury and can't resist the urge to earn points?" Rofort chuckled.
"Yes, there happens to be something I need in there, but it requires 3,600 points, which I currently lack," w.a.n.g Teng admitted somewhat sheepishly, nodding.
"3,600 points!" Rofort was surprised. What could possibly require 3,600 points? This young prodigy seemed to spend lavishly. Even he would feel a pang spending 3,600 points at once. Curious, he asked, "What are you trying to exchange for?"
"It's a special metal called the Soul Illusion Silver," w.a.n.g Teng replied.
"Soul Illusion Silver." Rofort was astounded. He had never heard of such a metal. Was his knowledge inferior to that of a cosmos-stage warrior?
At that moment, Rofort began to doubt himself.
To cover his embarra.s.sment, he cleared his throat hastily and offered, "If you urgently need 3,600 points, I could lend you first."
"No, there's no need for that." w.a.n.g Teng was tempted but he refuse subsequently. "There will be many instances where I'll need points in the future. I can't keep borrowing from others every time."
Rofort nodded in understanding and didn't press further. After a moment of thought, he said, "There is indeed a way that suits you very well."
"What is it?" w.a.n.g Teng's eyes lit up. He had only casually asked, but unexpectedly, he got a response. It seemed he still needed the help of someone well-versed in the virtual universe.
"In our virtual universe headquarters, on World Island, there is an entrance to a Realm s.p.a.ce. This Realm s.p.a.ce is divided into different regions, cla.s.sified by attributes: Metal Realm, Wood Realm, Water Realm, Fire Realm, Earth Realm, Wind Realm, Lightning Realm, Ice Realm, Poison Realm, and even the Light Realm. Within these eleven realms, there are various legacies and trials. If you pa.s.s the corresponding trials and obtain the legacies, you will receive corresponding point rewards," Rofort explained.
"Realm s.p.a.ce!" w.a.n.g Teng paused for a moment, asking, "Is this the same as the Seven Stellar Academies' Realm s.p.a.ce?"
"Ah, I almost forgot you're a student of the Seven Stellar Academies." Rofort nodded. "Yes, they are the same."
"But isn't this the virtual universe?" w.a.n.g Teng was a bit confused.
"You probably don't know what the Realm s.p.a.ce is," Realm s.p.a.ce chuckled, explaining, "The Realm s.p.a.ce has the same concept as the virtual universe, operating on a spiritual level. That's why in the virtual universe, you can directly enter the Realm s.p.a.ce."
"Entering as a spiritual ent.i.ty," w.a.n.g Teng was even more astonished. He had always a.s.sumed it was the physical body entering. He hadn't expected it to be a spiritual entry. It seemed the Realm s.p.a.ce was even more peculiar than he had imagined.
"The Realm s.p.a.ce has existed for as long as I can remember. Various factions control the entrances to different Realm s.p.a.ces. All young geniuses can enter, provided they are under 30,000 years old and haven't reached the eternal stage," Rofort explained.
"There are restrictions!" w.a.n.g Teng exclaimed.
"Yes, exceeding these limits means you cannot enter. Even true G.o.ds cannot force their way in," Rofort nodded.
"Even G.o.d-stage beings can't force their way in. Who created these Realm s.p.a.ces?" w.a.n.g Teng was shaken.
"I don't know," Rofort shook his head, seeming equally contemplative.
w.a.n.g Teng nodded slightly, refraining from further questions. This touched upon some of the universe's secrets, and few people were likely to know.
"So, what do you think? Do you want to give it a try? The news of you obtaining the G.o.d-stage prodigy contract has already spread within the Virtual Universe Corporation to some extent. Many geniuses are waiting to see how you perform." Rofort seemed somewhat amused, not minding the potential repercussions.
"Oh?" w.a.n.g Teng was surprised. "Won't some people be resentful?"
"Undoubtedly, there will be. The G.o.d-stage prodigy contract isn't easy to come by. From what I know, there were three geniuses with eternal-stage prodigy contracts who were initially poised to level up to the G.o.d-stage prodigy contracts, but you beat them to it. They might not take this lightly as every genius has their pride," Rofort explained.
"It's best not to provoke me," w.a.n.g Teng said calmly. "Their contracts have nothing to do with me."
"Haha, your words may not hold true," Rofort chuckled.
"Why do I feel like you're eager to see me clash with them?" w.a.n.g Teng glanced at him, feeling speechless.
"As your guardian, my interests and reputation are tied to yours. If you can surpa.s.s them and make a name for yourself in the Realm s.p.a.ce, naturally, I'll gain some prestige too," Rofort laughed.
"In that case, I'll give it a try. After all, I need to earn some points as well," w.a.n.g Teng stood up directly, stretching lazily, and said casually.
"Follow me," Rofort's lips curved into a slight smile as he led the way outside.
A s.p.a.cecraft flew in automatically, and after boarding it, the two set off towards a high mountain in the core area.
