143 Club Life

'Should I bring my gun?'

*h.e.l.l NO!* Vivi screamed at him when he asked her opinion. It was one thing to use the mini cannon of death on demon beasts and the like and another thing to use it on regular humans. She also reminded him that there was little chance that anything he ran into at the club would give him trouble.

Vivi actually liked this job for Laz as it would allow him to socialize a bit. As she said, according to her research, it was necessary for a person's Laz's age to talk to people other than her. When he asked why as he never felt that he was missing out since he had her, she responded with,

*Tell people you talk to your dog and your dog talks back and see how they respond.* Laz couldn't come up with a counter argument to that. Although it was fine to communicate with your pets, it was another thing to have long, drawn out conversations with them. Although Vivi was different, people wouldn't understand that.

Vivi also spent some time picking out Laz's clothes. Based on what Laz understood, he would basically be in normal attire but would act when warranted. This meant blending in. As such, he ended up with loose fitted dark jeans, a white tee and a black vest. Once he had that on with his pale white skin, he either looked super attractive or ma.s.sively sick, depending on your preference.

*Perfect.*

"You sure?"

*Trust me. Dressing too much without knowing the situation is not a good thing. Besides, what kind of club is waves anyway?*

"Uhh..." Laz knew nothing about the club life so he had no idea what she meant by 'kind of club.' He didn't even know there was a difference, just what he had seen on shows and such.

*That's what I thought. Either way, you will blend right in. I tried researching a bit about it online but it turns out that they don't have much of an online presence.*

"Ok. I will be home later." And with that, Laz left. He was considering more and more now getting Vivi her own phone, but something about getting a wolf a phone didn't seem right considering she couldn't talk.

'But since she can type on a computer then maybe sh could text?' Laz figured he would ask her opinion later.

Getting on the old motorcycle, Laz headed off. The drive was somewhat uneventful but he got quite the suprise when he arrived. Despite it being early, there was already a line outside to get in. As Laz walked up to the door, one of the A's greeted him and allowed him inside. Despite the complaints from the crowd, no one bothered to explain.

Going in showed a place that looked like it was going to be a battlefield. People were running all over the place, getting things cleaned and ready while several girls busied themselves behind the bar. Something else Laz noted was that there were several more people dressed in black that had security written on it. He had thought that the three A's he had run into were the only security but it seemed like there was actually a whole team. Just as Laz was going to get someone's attention, he noticed Leo walk out of the crowd and run up to him.

"You're here."

"Of course I'm here. What do you need me to do?"

"Nothing, actually," Leo said with a smile.

"Nothing?" Laz didn't understand.

"Well, normally you will do nothing but sit around, walk around, maybe take a drink or two and buy some interesting people a drink or two. All on the house of course."

"This..."

"It's all part of the job. You want to look like a casual goer. The only thing I really need from you is to keep your eyes on things. Although we have a normal security team, they are mostly there for drunks and to intimidate with numbers. They might be able to handle a small fight, but they are a far cry from Arnold, Anthony and Andrew. But even then, they can only handle normal people as well."

Laz couldn't help but raise an eyebrow to his statement. It seemed casual enough, but it seemed to speak of something else.

"Normal people?"

"Yeah. Uck... Ok. You know how things are going bat s.h.i.+t crazy out there right? Monsters and mutants popping up everywhere?"

"Yes..."

"Well, although it hasn't been an issue yet, what happens if one of them stumbles into this place? That's why I was looking for something a bit stronger and that's you." Leo said with a smile before shouting out,

"Everyone. Get over here for a quick meeting."

The entire staff gathered in only a few moments as Leo stood by Laz. They were around the bar area so all of the employees took a quick seat, leaving only Laz and Leo standing.

"Good. This here is Laz. He's going to be a special enforcer of the club from now on. When he tells you to do something, you do it. Drinks, food, even if he wants a little something special from the 'dessert' menu, he gets it for free. Clear?"

"Yes Boss." Everyone look a hard look at Laz and noticed his slightly frail looking appearance along with his pale skin. More than a few people couldn't help but think that at least he would be easy to recognize in the crowd.

"Back to work. We open in an hour. Get those cages cleaned too. No telling what kind of girls might end up in them. And is the sound check done?" As everyone scrambled back to work, A1 walked up and patted Laz's shoulder.

"Boss really knows how to run this business. He makes sure that people get what they want so they keep coming back for more, hehehe."

"What's the dessert menu?" Laz couldn't help but ask.

"That's... where all of our special experience enhancing treats are located. Only those who have a members.h.i.+p are allowed to order off of it."

"Ah..." Laz quickly understood. After all, this was one of the best ways to earn money.

"Interested?" Arnold looked at the young man who despite being somewhat tall, didn't seem all that tough. He couldn't help but wonder just what Laz's vice was.

"No. Is there anything else I should know?"

"One of us guys will be at the door but the normal guys handle the crowd. Also, be on the look out for the girls who get totally wasted and are alone. They are prime targets for guys. Don't leave them alone together. The girls can be brought into the back room over there to sleep it off. It's guarded by another one of us, usually Andrew. Anthony normally has the door and I'm usually watching the floor from up top." Arnold pointed to the stairs that lead to the upper area.

"What's up there?" Laz asked, seeing as how there were couches and seats, all arranged so that they could support 3 to 4 groups in total, but each group was sectioned off.

"VIP lounge. A couple of guys will block the stairs and only those with an invite will be allowed up, which includes you." Arnold seemed to be pretty open and honest about things, even including Laz with all of his arrangements. Laz soon discovered that Arnold was a pretty straight forward guy. Since they were now a team, Laz was one of them and Arnold was going to treat him as such. After answering a few more questions, Laz felt pretty confident in their set up.

Arnold pulled out a walkie and an earpiece from a pouch and handed it to him.

"This keeps you in contact with everyone. It get's kind of loud but the piece is enhanced to focus on your voice and face so it get's the job done. Also the speaker is noise cancelling so you should be able to hear through it pretty easy. Every team leader has one."

"Alright. Thanks for your help there big guy!" Laz said in a rather more relaxed mood.

"Not going to call us the three A's anymore?" Arnold asked while he laughed.

"Nah, looks like you've worked up from that." Both men laughed together briefly before settling down.

"One last thing, people ain't allowed to have s.e.x on the first floor. We don't need people getting their s.h.i.+t on while on the dance floor, know what I mean?"

"Right, no s.e.x."

"Well, no s.e.x down here. VIP is another story. Still, if she ain't willing, your basically stuck stopping the guy and that really p.i.s.ses them off, so be warned."

"Alright." Laz noticed how Arnold flinched when he said this, showing Laz that there was probably way more to the story than Arnold was explaining, but he didn't ask.

They quickly split up and Laz started wandering around, checking the place out from top to bottom. Although he had been in here once, he didn't really get much of a tour so he started to look over everything. From the st.u.r.diness of the cages hanging from the ceiling to the slickness of the dance floor. Laz had learned a long time ago that you needed to scout your surroundings first.

He even went so far as to look around the VIP area, the bas.e.m.e.nt and then proceeded to check the back rooms. Not really knowing which room was which, he stumbled into one room that smelled strongly of perfume from the outside. As he walked in, he saw quite a few girls in the process of changing their clothes. From girls who were mostly naked to others who were in various stages of dress, Laz's eyes couldn't help but drown in the feast of flesh that was presented to him.

As he stood there dumb founded for a minute, several girls turned their heads and noticed him standing there. Contrary to Laz's thoughts though, none of them screamed at him to get out and they instead just giggled a bit and laughed at his dumb founded expression.

"Umm... sorry. Wrong room," he managed to get out before quickly going for the door. Maybe it was because Laz looked young and innocent and most of the girls here were not, but they quickly stopped him from leaving. They were actually rather interested in this guy who the boss seemed to give free reign of the place. Although there were several younger girls in the room, most of them had been around long enough to know that you tried to always get into the good graces of those close to the boss if you wanted to succeed. And Laz seemed like the perfect target.

"It's fine baby. Don't go."

"You look pretty young there sugar. How do you know the boss?"

Despite them still changing, brus.h.i.+ng their hair and putting on makeup, they still had time to ask Laz questions. Although he avoided most of them, he also had the chance to ask them some questions. After all, this wasn't a strip club, so he couldn't understand why the girls were dressing so provocatively.

"For tips of course!" The big breasted brunette in skin tight leather pants answered.

"Yeah. Doesn't matter if it's a guy or girl. The better you look the more you make," Added on the also busty blonde who was wearing a s.h.i.+rt with a neckline that reached her navel. Laz couldn't even begin to understand how her b.o.o.bs were being kept in the thin folds of fabric.

Laz also learned that all of the girls took turns doing various jobs. Serving the VIP's drinks up top, dancing in the cages, waitressing for the bar or just dancing their hearts out to make sure the crowd stayed energetic. They would rotate throughout the night, allowing all of them to have a go at the VIP section. That was where the most tips were made after all.

"AH. I see." Laz finally understood. It seemed like things were far more complicated than he realized.

"f.u.c.k... I can't get my hair right..." One of the girls sitting in front of the mirror complained just as Laz was lost in thought. She had a rather cute baby face and a more athletic body, meaning that she wasn't busting out on top like the others. Instead, she chose to wear a short skirted dress that highlighted her legs and a.s.s more. Laz, seeing that the other girls were busy while she was struggling, walked over without thinking and grabbed a brush along with a spray bottle and brushed down her hair. She was so surprised that she didn't stop him and just let him go until he was done. When Laz finally finished, her hair was contained and even a bit bouncy. The other girls who had started watching him work at some point couldn't help but stare at the sight of it. The athletic girl looked in the mirror while twirling her hair around, enjoying how it was wavy but still stayed in place.

"You're pretty good at that." She said, thanking him.

"Baby, are you... you know...?" the big breasted blonde asked.

"What?" Laz asked back, not sure where she was going with it.

"Uhh... a hair dresser?" She had wanted to ask something else, but decided it would be pretty rude, especially to the friend of the boss.

"No. My... uh, sister has me brush her hair all the time while she watches hair care videos online. So I've seen more than enough to handle something like this," Laz replied back quickly. He was getting an inkling as to what they were asking and didn't want that rumor going around.

"Ahh..." The girls nodded in understanding while laughing a bit. They thought it was rather precious for a young man like this to also take care of his sister.

The athletic girl in the tight black dress that barely covered her a.s.s couldn't help but take another look in the mirror before smiling. She loved what he had done with it. She turned around while swaying her hips and brought her arms up around Laz's neck, pulling him close. Before he could say anything otherwise, she slid in close to him and bite his lip gently while rubbing her tight body on his.

"Thanks again. You need a break later, feel free to come find me, ok?" And with that she let Laz go and walked out or the room while the other girls could only look on with a bit of jealousy. But that was only because she had gotten lucky and struck first.

Seeing them all stare at him like they wanted him to help them next, Laz quickly made his escape.
