Yan Liang was already brooding over Liang Jing Shan's and Ning Zhi Yuan's abandonment and betrayal. Now when Liang Xi Cheng said "leaving", it hit her straight in the heart.

He frowned and placed his hand on Yan Liang's shoulder. His first instinct was to push her away.

But Yan Liang was tightly clinging to his neck, like she was really scared he would push her away. She actually recklessly deepened the kiss.
