It was a photo of a young lady.

At first glance, the girl in the photo looked similar to Chi Jiao.

“Ruanruan.” Chi Mingwei sat by the bed and looked at the lady in the photo. His eyes were filled with longing and infatuation. “Our daughter has grown up. How good would it be if you were still alive? If only you were still alive, our family would be together on a holiday like today…”

That’s right. The girl in the photo was Chi Jiao’s mother, Ruan Xiaoyi. She was still a student in the photo.

It had been more than ten years since Ruan Xiaoyi pa.s.sed away, but Chi Mingwei had never forgotten her.

A ray of light appeared in the suffocating darkness. Then, a white figure slowly walked out of the light.

Chi Mingwei saw the figure walking against the light.

It was the same Ruan Xiaoyi in the photo that he was still holding. Whether it was her appearance or dressing, she looked exactly the same as in the photo.

She extended her hand and smiled brightly. “Mingwei, come with me…”

Her gentle and sweet voice seemed bewitching as it slowly seeped into his nerves.

Struggling to wake up, Chi Mingwei immediately gave up.

The room was so quiet that only the hands of the clock on the wall could be heard.
