There was a series of small tests scheduled for this morning. They were for English, Chinese, and Mathematics.

The first was the English test.

It had been a long time since Chi Jiao had an exam. Although she missed some lessons recently, she had already learned all the knowledge at this stage in her previous life. Therefore, the examinations weren't difficult for her.

After handing out the test papers, Chi Jiao spent half an hour finis.h.i.+ng it before taking a nap on the table.

The invigilator saw that she was the first to finish writing and went to sleep without checking her work. She shook her head helplessly.

For the next two tests, Chi Jiao did the same thing.

The morning ended smoothly.

Chi Jiao, Yi Lanlan, and Dang Nan went for lunch outside of school. Bai Weiyu was still recuperating in the hospital and had not been to school for the time being.

Dang Nan wanted to eat at a Korean barbecue restaurant near their school. Chi Jiao and Yi Lanlan had no objections, so the three of them went together.

“Jiaojiao, you seem to be in a good mood today. Did you do well in the tests?” Yi Lanlan could clearly feel that Chi Jiao was very happy today. She was glowing as brightly as the sun.

“They're fine,” Chi Jiao said with a smile.

“Fine?” Dang Nan frowned as she looked at her worriedly. “But I saw that you only spend half an hour writing speedily before falling asleep.”

Chi Jiao rested her chin in her small hand and bit on the straw of her orange juice. “I'm faster at writing.”

Because she didn't have to use her brain, she could write quickly.

Dang Nan sighed helplessly. “It's alright if it's other subjects, but if you don't do well in mathematics, Madam Zhang will definitely not let you off.”

Madam Zhang was the nickname of their math teacher. Their cla.s.s's math teacher was a man in his forties, but he was very long-winded and meddlesome. Therefore, the students gave him this nickname.

This year, Madam Zhang was going to determine who the outstanding teachers were. The scores of the students were also included in the evaluation. He would definitely take down whoever didn't do well.

“I'm not scared.” Chi Jiao didn't seem to mind.

“Jiaojiao, Dang Nan and I are going to visit Weiyu after school.” Yi Lanlan placed a piece of barbecued beef on her plate. “Do you want to come with us?”

Chi Jiao thought for a moment and nodded. “Let's go together.”

Bai Weiyu was only suffering from superficial wounds. However, her mental state wasn't that great. Therefore, it was causing her body to recover very slowly.

When Chi Jiao, Dang Nan, and Yi Lanlan entered the ward, Bai Weiyu was sitting on the bed in a daze with her arms crossed.

She had lost a lot of weight compared to before. Her face was pale, and her sharp chin made one eager to pamper her.

When she saw Chi Jiao and the rest, Bai Weiyu's eyes finally regained some spirit.

“You guys are here,” she said, smiling.

“Why are you alone?” Dang Nan asked as she walked to the bedside and placed the gifts they had prepared on the cabinet.

“My mom went back to make some soup for me,” Bai Weiyu said with a gentle smile.

Chi Jiao and Yi Lanlan walked to the bed as well.

“How are you feeling now?” Yi Lanlan asked.

As Chi Jiao looked at her, she felt that although Bai Weiyu looked normal now, it seemed as if she had lost her soul. She no longer had the same spiritual aura from before.

It was probably because the incident with Jin Yiming had dealt a huge blow to her.

A girl's first love was generally important. Who wouldn't want to have a sweet first love? Even if there were regrets later and they couldn't walk to the end together, at the very least, they would have beautiful memories.

However, Bai Weiyu's first love had been completely destroyed by that pervert, Jin Yiming.

Every time she thought of Jin Yiming would be torture to her.
