“You're Chu Pengzhan, correct?” The robed man said directly without any reserve, “The couple of b.a.s.t.a.r.ds downstairs dared hinder my advance- I've taken the appropriate measures.

“Ah?” Chu Pengzhan paused. This man's sudden appearance in his room took him by surprise, “Are you Mister Wei Zhizun?”

“That would be me!” The robed man nodded, “Your security here is too untrained- they dare make an embarra.s.sment out of themselves with skills like that?”

Zhizun had just finished his sentence when the telephone rang. Pengzhan picked it up with a smile, it was from the security captain, saying that a scary looking man had walked past them and straight to Chu Pengzhan, even injuring two guards!

Chu Pengzhan didn't know what to say- he couldn't really blame Zhizun since he would still need to rely on him before Li Fu's sect brother came. He could only reply the security captain saying that everything was fine, and that he should send the injured guards to the hospital.

“Mister Wei, with your high standards, you don't have to put yourself on the same level as normal people, right?” Pengzhan put down the phone and stood up.,”I'll leave my safety and that of my daughter in your hands, Mister Wei!”

“Very well!” Zhizun said arrogantly, “I'm a Mystic cla.s.s master, so protection is not an issue… Regarding the payment, however…”

“The company has told me in advance- two hundred thousand every month, that's no problem at all!” Pengzhan nodded as Lin Yi popped up in his mind. Thirty thousand sure was cheap, but since it was the price his father had set, he didn't have much right to interfere.

“No, that's the company's rate!” Wei Zhizun shook his head, “That money is paid to the company- for me you'll have to make a payment of three hundred thousand every month!”

“That…” Pengzhan paused, not expecting such big a chunk from Zhizun!

“What, is it too much? Then I'll have to make my leave here!” Zhizun said as he started to get up.

“Please don't get angry, Mister Wei! Three hundred thousand, is it! I understand, three hundred thousand it is!” Pengzhan didn't have a choice, so he made the deal instead. Five hundred thousand was a lot, but he had to make him stay!

“I'm just saying- five hundred thousand for a Mystic supreme master, that's quite the haul!” Zhizun nodded and laughed.

Pengzhan wasn't quite sure about the power levels here, and he didn't know just how strong a Mystic supreme was, but it did sound really powerful. He wouldn't be weak, that was for sure, especially with the way and confidence in which he presented himself, along with that price tag.

“Alright, then according to the contract, it'll be one month as a trial period, and the next month we'll start the payment!”

“That's just the company's rules!” Zhizun shook his head, “My rule states that the trial period ends after one day- tomorrow shall be the first payday!”

“Alright, I Understand!” Pengzhan sighed. This bodyguard was too forthcoming, who exactly was the employer here?

But he was right- a Mystic master guarding a normal man- why would they do that if it weren't for a big price tag?

Yet, when the two were just talking, an interruption came from the doors flying open- in came three men, angry and p.i.s.sed!

The security captain didn't dare stop them this time- who knew what sort of men these were? Some robed weirdo just came and beat people down without uttering a word, and these three were following the exact same behavioural pattern!

“Where is Chu Pengzhan? You're quite the brave soul, aren't you! How dare you p.i.s.s off House Xiao!” Xiao Ji started yelling right after entering the room.

Pengzhan had met Xiao Ji before, and he knew which family he was from- after all, they had done business between their familes before. As for the things that happened to House Xiao recently, Chu Pengzhan had some sort of idea what they were here for. House Xiao wanting to do business in Songshan was also information he was aware of, yet from the way things were looking, these men had come bursting into his room just looking for trouble!

“Mister Xiao, I wonder what kind of lowly person has angered you Xiao's?” Chu Pengzhan said, a little confused at how angry these people were. Have they made a mistake? Pengzhan Industries didn't have much to do with the Xiao family recently, let alone to p.i.s.s them off.

“Your daughter insulted my wife Ju Huli!” Xiao Ji said with a cold smile, “Us House Xiao had just arrived in Songshan, and you just had to make the first move? You think you get to bully us just because our old man pa.s.sed, that we wouldn't be able to defend ourselves?”

“Mister Xiao Ji, what do you mean by that? When has my daughter insulted your wife?” Pengzhan frowned, “And, first move? Ridiculous, both our parties have done business before, of course I'd be willing to welcome you into a partners.h.i.+p- why would I cross any of you?”

Business means back and forth trading- since there's a trading taking place, there's business- why would I be worried of losing business?” Pengzhan didn't understand what was going on, but judging from how Xiao Ji was approaching the matter, something was wrong. Could these people be here just to cause trouble?

“Alright, MIster Chu- you're a smart man, let's cut to the chase!” Xiao Ben who had been staying silent the whole time began to speak up, “All you need to do is ask your daughter, and we'd know whether or not the accusations are real. Along with some girl called Shu, your daughter harra.s.sed my sister-in-law with disgraceful words- it's the truth.”

Pengzhan paused. Xiao Ben mentioning Shu's presence with his daughter validated their statements. Could Yao Yao really have p.i.s.sed these people off?

“Alright, since Mister Xiao insists, I'll give my daughter a call and confirm first…” Pengzhan nodded, not having much of a choice.

“Make haste- our patience isn't infinite,” Xiao Ji's words held a commanding tone.

Pengzhan sighed to himself. Things weren't going well for him these days. He p.i.s.sed off a Zhen Yingjun for no reason, who not only kidnapped his daughter, but even asked him for a huge sum of money!

Most importantly, he had injured both Yi and Li Fu!
