Chapter 2805 - Meng Ying's Secret
"Lin Ke, you've been nothing more than glorified rubbish from the day that I met you. You'll never achieve anything of note," Tianming coldly said when he appeared behind Lin Ke. He recalled the grudge he held and seethed. Tianming did not forget, nor did he forgive. "How dare you humiliate my woman?!"
Lin Ke turned back in horror and saw Tianming fuse his swords back into one. Not only did it now contain the power of all ten totems, it also projected the figures of the four flameyellow divinity imperatores! Lin Ke's spirit was absolutely crushed by the subsequent strike.
"Die for me!!" Tianming slashed down with both hands, his sword traveling downward regardless of how many eightpart apparitions were in the way.
"Aaaaaagh!" Lin Ke's body condensed into formless water and shot toward Tianming, yet his attack that was fueled by all nine of his cosmic charts had been completely drained by Tianming's strike!
"How dare a mere jester challenge me in my territory?!"
One after another, Lin Ke's cosmic charts shattered. Each time one did, he shrieked in agony and regret, sounding like he was almost crying. "My cosmic charts! My cosmic charts! Aaaaagh!"
He had been completely ruined, even though moments before, he had been prancing about arrogantly in Tianming's turf. Looking down on Yin Chen like he had was deserving of death, and he now knew better. "Li Tianming, it's over for you! Im"
Before he could finish, the Grand-Orient Sword came rending down, completely scattering him into beautiful sparkles of waning astrons.
"In my eyes, you're nothing but a monkey." Tianming pulled his sword back, but that didn't stop a trench a thousand meters deep and ten thousand meters long from digging its way through the surface of the Sun. With the power of Omnisentient Will, his strikes could shape worlds.
"Tianming! Our ruler!" Everyone on the Sun cheered at the sight of Tianming crus.h.i.+ng a ninth-level cosmic cartographer with unrivaled power. The power of imperial order inside him surged out once more. Even though his physique wasn't that huge, it felt like there were billions of dragons roaring from within him. His might felt comparable to that of a small sun! Even if Lin Ke didn't die from the splendor, he would still have been utterly crushed.
Fengqing Youmeng struggled to open her eyes at the radiant brilliance. She stared, completely stupefied and crushed from within. She deactivated her divine wonder and stopped resisting as she collapsed to the ground, knowing that there was no escape. Giving up resisting was the only chance she had to survive.
Even though she was countless miles away, she could hear the cheers from within the Sky Palace Formation. What kind of world
was
this? It had become a complete nightmare for her. As she looked up fearfully, she saw a white-haired youth basked in divine radiance.
"I'm rather curious. Whats with your taste in men? That thing just now made me want to vomit, yet you're able to accept him?" Tianming said, shaking his head.
"You've won. You don't need to humiliate me any more. Kill me if you please. I'm at your mercy. But let me remind you that my status in the eyes of my parents isn't that high. Many already hate me and want me gone, so I'm not of much use as a hostage. My parents are far more selfish than you can imagine," Fengqing Youmeng said, her eyelids flickering.
"Are you saying it'd be more convenient for me to kill you?" Tianming asked.
Fengqing Youmeng closed her eyes and chose not to resist. Xiaodao and the rest had come to Tianming's side and the Ninedragon Imperial Tomb and Gladean Ruins had landed nearby.
"Should we put her in my drinking gourd?" Xiaodao asked.
"Alright."
The gourd was a terrifying place, but it was also the best thing they had that could serve as a prison. Tianming didn't care too much about Fengqing Youmeng, woman or not. An enemy was an enemy; they wouldn't show him nearly the same mercy.
Hearing that she would be stuffed into a small drinking gourd, she seemed to show some fear. Hurriedly, she knelt and begged, "Please, don't do this. I'll be an obedient prisoner."
"I can't trust you, and it's too much trouble to check on you," Tianming said.
"I can tell you my parents' secrets! How to deal with them!"
Tianming and Xiaodao exchanged glances.
"I've hated them since my childhood! They controlled everything about my life. I know that I only survived because I was lucky. Even though they gave me life, I hate everything about them!" she cried. One seldom saw a perfect beauty break down like that.
"So, you're saying that you chose that ugly mug as an act of rebellion against your parents?" Tianming felt a bit speechless.
Fengqing Youmeng raised her head and mumbled, "That's right. He's the only person that's comparable to me at my age. Who else can I choose? Well, you're much stronger than him, of course...."
"Ahem...." Tianming waved her off, not wanting to give her any ideas. He turned to Xiaodao and said, "Take her into the Gladean Ruins, then."
"Alright."
Both of them were quite curious about the secrets of Meng Ying. It seemed that Fengqing Youmeng was quite docile when it came to preserving her own life. Even so, Xiaodao made sure to use a cosmic artifact to keep her astral organs sealed, restricting her movements. That way, he could take her into his drinking gourd any time he wanted.
The broadcast ended when they boarded their respective divine astrals.h.i.+ps. However, the energetic discussions continued without end.
"The Sun is heading for Ebonia.... We'll come face-to-face with Shenxi Xingtian and Yi Daiyan...."
"It sounds challenging indeed."
"I used to feel like we should just lay low, but now it seems like this is the right course of action. If we stay away from where everythings developing, we'll be unable to keep things under control."
"Li Tianming was able to defeat a ninth-level cosmic cartographer even though he isn't even a hundred years old. He might be the second coming of Yi Daiyan!"
"He's much stronger if you compare his age to hers."
"Through this move, the Sun will either rise to new heights, or fall to never-ending depths."
Tianmings battle had sparked a fire in the hearts of the denizens of the Sun.
