By a demon’s standard, Nailisi was indeed very beautiful.

“Then why haven’t you cleansed me yet?” Nailisi asked in a provocative tone. Her arms were long and her hands were already clutching the Twelve Notes of Purgatory that had been squashed.

“Cleansing is a troublesome process, especially for you. I will need to use up quite a bit of energy. I am waiting for my people to arrive so that they can completely subdue you before I begin the process. I am in no hurry at all.” The holy priest’s smile was sinister. Teasing a demon was much more fun than teasing a human.

Nailisi’s eyelids twitched. The grade-9 holy priest did not dare to take her on by himself. Instead, he had chosen to stay where he was while waiting for his subordinates. She would have no chance by the time they arrived.

The elderly holy priest did not care about the battle going on around them. By now, his attention had been completely captured by Nailisi.

Nailisi laughed coldly to herself. Humans would never stop desiring things. What if he was a grade-9 holy priest? The Twelve Notes of Purgatory in her hands extended gradually. “What a pathetic little creature. It is impossible to try and attack me by surprise.” The holy priest stared at the Twelve Notes of Purgatory in Nailisi’s hands. He had discovered the demon’s secret.

Without hesitation, the elderly holy priest flipped open the book in his hands. More than twenty angels from heaven appeared around him to protect him. Then, a scepter appeared in his hands. He pointed it at Nailisi and shouted, “Solidify!”

What Nailisi had done was to utilize an innate ability of hers instead of using transformation magic. Solidification was only effective against transformation magic. As for Nailisi, the devil form was already part of her so solidification failed. Nailisi quickly grew to more than twenty yards and began to trample the elderly holy priest.

All the angels from turned into spots of light after being trampled by Nailisi’s feet. In return, her foot was pierced through by the holy priest’s divine protection. Nailisi howled in pain, but she tolerated it and unleashed the Twelve Notes of Purgatory. A huge s.p.a.ce door opened and she and the elderly holy priest vanished from the holy zone without a trace.
