Terence had always doted on his only sister Avery, obviously if she pestered him about their brother, he would have no choice but to give in to her demands.
"Terence Logon Theoden, you have a fiancé, Avery shouldn't be the one who occupies your head."
"She is a girl and she needs protection, especially now that the magical realm isn't safe anymore. More than ever father, Avery needs me."
"And your fiancé do not?"
"She is not as stubborn as my siblings."
"And you are not stubborn?" King Regin asked his son.
"Father, I… Hmm! Avery is still young, you cannot deny she needs my protection."
"Don not let your sister hear you say that about her. She is grown and independent."
Really! Was that coming from his father who was strict as anything and just sent two hundred soldiers after his daughter?
"You treat her like a baby too, father."
"That is a different case entirely; I am your father and King. Besides, you know how she is when she hears any news about Blade."
"I know I am wrong father and so, I would like to make things right and go bring her back to the palace."
"You are going nowhere, Terence."
"But father, you…"
King Regin lifted his palm to silence him, Terence sighed, he couldn't argue now thst his fsther had lifted his hands.
"I cannot afford for all my children to chase after one person. I cannot bear the thought of losing another child, think of your mother. They would ensure Avery's safe return. Till then, I'm afraid you would have to seat this one out, son."
He got up from his throne and walked to where Terence stood. His eyes sharp and fierce, still they held wisdom in them. By now, they stood face to face with each other.
He lifted his right hand and placed it lightly on his Terence's shoulder and said, "You are the Crown Prince, there are a lot of things needing your approval, see to it that they are well taken care of. Trust your siblings to handle this one."
"As you wish father, I will not fail you."
"I know you won't. You may go see to other things."
He bowed his head and left the throne room.

~ELVEN FOREST – PRINCESS AVERY~
Not quite long, the beasts all started fighting each other in anger. From the bushes where she hid, Lady Lorelei could see her plans going out of place because of one stupid misunderstanding.
"Animals, stupid creatures, I can't believe I expected more from you."
As she spoke, the soldiers managed to successfully round up the animals in their chaotic state, tying them with a thick unbreakable rope, with tens of soldiers holding both ends.
"The enchantment is weakening; this is the best time to end this before things get worse."
"Srie kier ator mne tosh ma ve quoir confirmation."
Lady Lorelei strengthened the enchantment and the animals began growling, screeching and roaring at the soldiers once more.
"No, no, no, not happening."
Princess Avery rushed and climbed to the top of one of the tallest trees closest to them. Her eyes closed, her chest heaved up and down as she took in a deep breath.
She could feel the abundant amount of energy coming from the sun, her eyes opened and her fingers moved in a rhythmic way, she manipulated the sunlight and directed it at the beasts in full force.
A blinding bright light shone upon everyone, the soldiers had to close their eyes to prevent being blinded by it.
The beasts all had their heads looking up and their eyes opened when Princess Avery directed the sunlight at them.
After some minutes, the light died down and the beasts returned back to normal.
"Thank goodness that is taken care of."
She let out a sigh, relieved that it had ended, well not entirely. Instantly, she squinted as her head turned in every direction. Her mind, her powers, her senses, all at work; searching, as she reached in and connected with her surroundings.
Soon enough, her eyes locked unto somewhere in the bush not too far from them. "Bingo!"
"Hmm, she did well for now. I must leave quickly," Lady Lorelei said to herself and turned to leave, when she heard a voice from behind her.
"Leaving so soon?" A feminine voice called out.
Her gaze swept back up to the girl on the tree.
SWOOs.h.!.+
Before they knew what was going on, Princess Avery vanished from the tree top.
Lady Lorelei chuckled and half turned, she wore a cloak with the hood over her head, so Princess Avery couldn't tell who she was exactly.
"Impressive, if I do say so myself. That was Elementumkinensis, am I right? Tricky."
"Who are you and what do you want?"
"You still haven't guessed and you want me?"
"The hybrid?!" She quickly pointed her dagger to Lady Lorelei's back.
She really felt like today was her lucky day. "Turn and hood off," she commanded.
"You really think you've caught me, just because you have a dagger pressed against my back?"
"Yes, I do."
"Hahaha, haha," she lightly chuckled at the princess' confidence.
"What's so funny?" she asked and pressed the dagger closer to her body.
"You are a thousand years too late to want to try. Pick someone your own level."
"What!"
Swiftly, Princess Avery withdrew her dagger and thrusted it forward at her with so much force, but before the dagger could hit their target, Lady Lorelei vanished.
"What the… You cannot hide from me hybrid."
She closed her eyes and tried to sense where she was, afyer a minute she didn't feel anything. She tried again, but the result was the same thing.
"I can't believe I had her and I lost her."
AAHHH!!
The beasts' noise brought her back. "Yes, right I have to calm them down."
Before she left, she looked around one last time then went out.
The soldiers heard the bushes rustle, soon Princess Avery emerged from it and walked upp to them.
"Hmmmm…"
As she did, she hummed a cool melody, soon all the noise stopped and the beasts relaxed one by one. She signaled for the soldiers to let go of the rope and release them.
They did as she commanded and freed the animals, after a few minutes, they were all spread out flat on the ground as the slept.
"Your Highness, what happened?" One of the soldiers asked, feeling concerned.
"It was the hybrid, she was behind it all."
