The sun appeared over the horizon just as Akila began to wake up. Charles became alert as Akila started to stir. Akila sat up, yawning. Charles stood up and sat back down next to her. "Good morning, sleep well?" Charles said to her.
"I slept pretty well. Did you sleep at all? Your eyes look dead." Akila said.
"No, I had to keep watch, who knows if anyone is following us."
Akila shook her head. she watched as Charles stood back up. she grabbed his arm and said, "Charles you need some sleep, I keep watch."
Charles looked at her and nodded. Akila stood up and sat on a nearby rock. She watched as Charles fell asleep almost instantanously. Akila smiled, but it faded quickly. The dream she had during the night resurfaced. It was something that she didn't think could ever happen. She was happy, watchinga small child play in the gra.s.s. Next to her she saw someone she thought she would never spend the rest of her life with, Charles! She shook the dream from her head. She turned around and stared into the forest. She held her scythe in her hands, ready to attack when danger arose.
Charles had woken back up around noon. He saw Akila staring into the trees. He started to stand up but stopped when Akila snapped her head to the side and looked at him. Charles smiled and started standing back up again. He walked over and sat next to her. Akila scooted over and looked away from him.
"Thanks for letting me sleep. It was pretty rejuvinating," Charles said to her.
"No problem," Akila said to him. She stood up and started to walking back to the path. Charles was confused with her tone. He stood up and started to follow her. Now she was the one walking fast. Charles had to jog to keep up.
"Akila, slow down!" Charles yelled at her. Akila ignored him and kept walking. Charles looked confused. He felt that something was wrong. He jogged in front of her and put his hands on her shoulders.
"Akila, what's wrong!? You need to talk to me!"
Akila shrugged his hands off and kept walking.
"Akila! Don't you be how I was, you need to tell me what's wrong!" Charles said.
"I can't... it was just a dream, nothing to worry about..." Akila said as she stopped walking.
Charles looked releived, he really thought that she was hiding something. He still felt that she was wanting to say something, but couldn't. Charles shrugged off the idea and stood next to Akila. Akila nodded to Charles and shot up to the sky. Charles followed her into the sky. Akila turned around in circles, looking for the next village. She could see one about a mile or so from where they were hovering.

They landed in the town square. People stared at them as usual. Charles led Akila to a nearby clothing shop and bought a cloak for her. They put them on and found an in. They went in to buy a two bed room.
The man inside said nothing to them but handed them the key, not asking for any payment. Charles thanked him and led Akila to the room.
Inside the room was two twin size beds, a small dresser, and a desk. Akila sat down on one of the beds and took off her cloak.
"Why did you buy me a cloak, and where did you get the money?" Akila asked Charles.
"Well, I got the money off of that guard. I also saw a few Miniro guards roaming the town. I'm just glad they didn't see us." Charles said, sitting down next to her.
Akila smiled at him and sighed.
