"How's this possible?" Grey asked.
"Simple, creating the needed space in the body." The cloaked lady explained.
"The perfect candidate must be a Space Elementalist who has a unique body type." The cloaked lady added.
"Unique body type?" Grey was a little lost.
"You read so much yet you don't know about these basic things." Klaus felt a bit embarrassed by Grey's lack of knowledge.
Grey was someone who tends to read a lot, everyone close to him is aware of this. But due to the massive amount of knowledge he is acquiring, he occasionally skips a few minor details. In the general scheme of things, these things might not be very important. But like in this case, it is important.
"Body types help most Elementalists. There are people with a pure fire body, but they occasionally have the water element which makes it practically useless. If these people have the fire element, they'll turn out to be outstanding Fire Elementalists." Klaus explained, he added, "That sick lady must have a space body, which means she's a great Space Elementalist."
"Correct?" Klaus looked at the cloaked lady.
"You're knowledgeable. I won't blame your friend for his lack of knowledge. This isn't something that's common, so most people don't have any knowledge about it." The cloaked lady nodded to Klaus' words.
"You for instance, I can tell you have a pure ice body." The lady squinted her eyes.
Grey took a glance at Klaus, who shrugged. Sensing Grey's gaze Klaus asked.
"How do you think I'm advancing so fast, and also have unrivaled ice ability?"
Grey was taken aback, now that he thought about it, this was a reasonable explanation. Well, there's also his elemental grade improving, but that isn't enough for him to advance with such speed.
"When did you find out?" Grey asked, forgetting the cloaked lady was still there.
"The Faction Leader found out the moment she saw me. That's why I'm well treated, and also forced to train all the difficult ice elemental techniques." Klaus explained.
Grey has always wondered why Klaus had such status in the Moonlight Faction, but he couldn't wrap his head around it. The thought of asking comes to mind, but once they're together, he's too busy enjoying the company of his friends that he forgets about it.
Having such a body in a Faction that fully focuses on the ice ability of the water element meant that he would naturally get special treatment, even from the Faction Leader.
Everything clicked now.
Grey looked at the lady who was slowly trying to escape.
"Do you know the location of other hideouts?" He asked.
The lady paused and looked at Grey, of course she knew the location of more hideouts, she just didn't want to disclose that information to Grey.
"I do, but that isn't part of the deal." The lady said. She was confident neither of them would attempt to kill her, so he didn't feel compelled to tell them this information.
"You see, I promise I'll let you leave, but I didn't say how I'll let you leave." Grey's eyes turned cold, "You can either tell me what I want to know, or leave her without your abilities as an Elementalist."
"That's not allowed." The lady's tone turned soft.
"I only said, I promise not to kill you. And so did he." Grey looked at her nonchalantly, "I didn't say I won't shatter your core. Or destroy all your limbs and ensure they never grow back."
"Technically, I didn't kill you. If you were to be killed by some Magical Beast, after I drop you off in the Rank Eight zone, it's purely your bad luck."
Hearing Grey's words, the lady felt her heart skip a beat. Grey was practically telling her he would not kill her, but he would leave her in a position that was no different from being killed. In the end, she'll die.
"You're still young, why do you conceive such evil thoughts?" The lady tried to speak to Grey in a manner that would change his mind.
"I'm better than him. It's better you let me do my evil than him." Grey pointed at Klaus, "At least I'll let your death be quick."
"He's not lying. I have evil thoughts, and I also know a few things that will make you hate your life." Klaus shrugged, not denying Grey's words.
The lady felt her entire body shiver, it was like she was being stared at by a ravenous wolf.
Grey had a nonchalant expression, Klaus on the other hand had excitement in his eyes, it was like he was looking forward to what he wanted to do to her.
"There are fifteen hideouts in each region. I have something here that will help you locate them. Of course, there's no way for you to know the strength of the people there." The lady gave in after seeing Klaus' eyes.
Klaus' expression dropped, visible disappointment in them. It was as if his entertainment had been destroyed.
"Hand it over and you're free to go." Grey stretched out his hand.
The lady looked at Grey, and seeing his eyes, he tossed a round item to him.
"How does it work?" Grey asked.
The lady bit her lips and said, "With the darkness element it's useless."
"Put any other element and it goes 'boom!'." Klaus added.
"You know of this thing?" Grey turned to Klaus.
"I've heard the Faction Leader speak of it." Klaus explained, he chuckled and looked at the lady, "She wanted to kill you."
"That thing will explode with the strength of at least a Seventh stage Sovereign. Only important members, and only when they are in the Sovereign Plane do they have access to these."
"That should tell you how important they are."
"You wanted to kill me?" Grey looked at the lady.
"No, I swear, I was going to tell you that part." Fear entered the body of the lady as she retreated a few steps back.
