"What's the plan?" Klaus asked as they stood before a large manor.
This place didn't seem like a hideout, in fact, it was more like a castle. Klaus found it hard that the Necromancers would build such a place and make it a hideout, but thinking of how difficult it was for them to locate this place, even with the man's detailed description, he didn't think too much about it.
"The array should be ready now. All I have to do is activate it and it'll isolate this place from the rest of the world." Grey explained.
"You can do that?" Klaus was dumbfounded.
"It's a simple trick most arraymasters can achieve with sufficient materials." Grey replied.
"You had to use someone else to create it." Klaus couldn't help but point out.
"It doesn't change what I'm capable of achieving. Even if that guy has zero knowledge about arrays, since I'm the one in charge, he's automatically an arraymaster." Grey replied.
Seeing Klaus' expression, he gave an evil smile and asked, "Want to try it out? Don't worry, I'll keep your brain and eyes functional."
"Fuck off! Who wants to be under your control? Even if I allow you, you're too dumb to take control over my divine body." Klaus retorted.
Grey shrugged and took another glance at the place, he closed his eyes and said, "Be prepared for a fight. There should be a good number of things there."
"Bunny, I'll need those Peak Venerable bunnies to help ensure no one leaves this area." He said to the bunny leader, who had his eyes on the castle. It was clear that there was something in there that enticed him.
'Noted!'
Grey was taken aback at the bunny's sudden seriousness about this mission. Given the bunny's usual laid-back attitude, he didn't think it would be serious. Unless there's something that would be beneficial to it there. This was the only reason Grey could think of.
Grey didn't bother with it and focused on controlling the man. While he was doing this, he was making a complicated series of hand seals, and Klaus saw little lights shoot into the sky. They were barely discernible, and if not for Grey already telling him about where they'd be, he wouldn't have known about it.
After the lights shot up, Klaus felt a strange sensation around his body, even though he was already used to Grey's use of the space element, he still always found it very strange. Given his current strength, he knew if he resisted, there's no way Grey would be able to teleport him to the place he wanted to take him to.
..
At the same time, inside the castle.
The man could be seen bowing before five people. All of them were in the Sovereign Plane.
Amongst the five, one of them gave off a chilling aura. He was the one in the Third stage of the Sovereign Plane. The other four, had one Second stage Sovereign and three First stage Sovereigns.
The man was bowing, reporting something he just found out.
"My lords, I can swear on my life, I heard about his presence from a reliable source."
"You mean to say Grey Dawson is in this region?" One of the men sitting at the end of the group of five asked.
"Yes, my lord." The man replied.
"According to the reports, he can deal with our puppets." Another one said.
"He's still in the Venerable Plane, why should we worry about someone like that?" One of the men asked.
"His friend has broken through to the Sovereign Plane, if you believe he's below that one in terms of talent, then there's something wrong with your head."
All the men were discussing amongst themselves, with the exception of the man seated in the middle. He was a middle-aged man with bushy eyebrows. His gaze was stern and gave one the feeling of inferiority when he's staring at them.
"Enough." His voice stopped the discussions going on.
"If he truly is here, we will need to investigate the matter." He added.
He looked at the man and asked, "Where was he last spotted?"
The man wanted to reply, but then he looked at the side, and noticed there's no guard present in the room.
'I need someone to change places with Klaus. If Void takes him here, it'll take too long. I need to be able to attack this man with Klaus' ice.'
Grey thought internally as he kept staring around.
"What are you looking for?" The man asked with a confused gaze.
"My Lord, the guard outside knows about it." The man replied.
"Huh?" The Third stage Sovereign found the man's words confusing. If the guard knows about it, why was he the one reporting it then?
The Third stage Sovereign waved and the guard standing outside was pulled into the Hall.
The guard was shocked by his sudden inability to control his body.
When he saw the people in the room, he hastily tried to fall to his knees in fear. The Third stage Sovereign saw this and gave him control of his body.
"He says you know about the whereabouts of Grey Dawson." The Third stage Sovereign pointed at the man.
The guard turned to the man, evident shock on his face, as he was about to respond, he felt a strange sensation.
Both the man and the guard's body blurred and were soon replaced by two others within a second. Not just that, but both figures they were replaced with moved instantly.
Before the five could react, both figures were close to the Third stage Sovereign as attacks rained on him.
The Third stage Sovereign was the strongest person there, yet he wasn't able to react in time before he was taken down. Both Grey and Klaus' attack wasn't something to play with.
The Third stage Sovereign was frozen and before he could react, Grey's attack had destroyed his core, as well as his heart. He was killed in an instant.
