Wen Yi has been standing at the entranceway during this period. He’s also part of the plot to kill Bai Xiao so of course he would be wary. “Lotus, how did it go?”

Making a aggrieved face as she walked over after hearing that, “I failed, that a.s.shole woke up before I could move. I got scared since the commotion would alert my father….”
