Being the only son, his family depended on him. But she also knew that whatever happened, she will do everything she can to treat his leg back to the way it was before.
"But luckily, the injuries were treated in time. We believe after months of rest, the Captain will be alright." the physician continued.
His words brought comfort to Mingyue.
She narrowed her eyes to the physician. A part of her wanted to beat him senseless for causing her to worry.
Mingyue nodded. She stood next to Yang Yun's head and inspected the injuries on his head. She sighed in relief when she saw that the wound on his head was just a light scratch.
It doesn't look like there were any other injuries on his head.
Then, she noticed the red flush on his face and his pale lips. She put her hand on his forehead and frowned. It looked like he had caught a fever.
"The captain's wound was not given treatment in time and his wound was inflamed and caused fever. We already send someone to bring in a basin and clean towel. The medicine for his fever is being brewed," the physician said.
Mingyue nodded. She could guess even if the physician didn't say anything. Slowly, her gaze traveled on his body. Her heart dropped at the sight of him lying on the bed, unmoving. "Is it possible for me to look at the injuries on his leg?"
"That..." the Physician hesitated and glanced towards the General.
"It's fine," Mingyue quickly said. Seeing the physician's hesitation, she knew that it would be improper for her to see it.
In fact, she could use her status as a physician, and choose to ignore the customary. But her brother had done so much to let her enter the camp to see Yang Yun. She didn't want to trouble him any more than this.
Mingyue stepped behind the part.i.tion screen and sat down. The two physicians has been working with treating wound injuries in war. She believe that they know what to do to treat him.
"He will be alright," Xiao Xian said as he sat down next to her sister.
"I know." she turned to him and smiled. "Thank you for letting me know and bringing me here."
Jiang Xiao Xian patted her softly on her head and smiled when she leaned her head on his arms. "I know you would be worried until you see him with your eyes." He looked at his sister and his gaze softened.
"Do you want to rest in my tent? I will ask someone to let you know once Yang Yun regains his conscious."
Mingyue s.p.a.ced out for a while before she nodded. "Alright."
The two siblings were about to exit the tent when they heard one of the physicians gasped.
