"Interesting," he said and then smiled, "Sonia got the idea from one of the girls, Jenny 69. It was supposed to be white ink. The spell didn't look like that when she came to me with it. Here let me show you."
He said moving closer and pulling out a drawing of the original design. I look at it and could not help but frown. I knew this charmed since I too had it in ink on my back, a special something on my birthday. It was similar enough to the inexperienced eye between what had been ink and what was inked but to me and to him, we could tell the difference. I also believe what he told me was the whole truth. The flare in his eyes told it all. While he held no regards for life but he had considered Sonia as his and beings like him don't take likely it if you destroy what is his whoever was out there need to watch their back.
Then it drawn on me that he had to know more about the tattoos. He just wanted me to ask. It was excessive but I was willing to pay the price to soften him up.
"Who did it?"
"Don't know. I did ask Lola and she said it was not her work or anyone she knew. The lines were too fine she said it wasn't possible without a ritual. I asked Sonia about it, she told me Jamey's friend did it for her when she was high she didn't remember much." He said folding the paper away.
"Do you think it was Jamey that caused this?"
"No,"
"Why not, he's the one with the connections and the Rae White?"
"Because he's normal and nice,"
"You are saying that he was too nice to get involved in things like that on his own. What about his cousin?"
"I'm not sure about Mr. Sinclair if he is involved or not. I don't know him well enough but I do remember his exquisite taste. He did sponsor Jamey into the club as an early wedding present that I think was well used." He answers smirking.
I nodded writing it all down for my report to Ronnie. I e-mailed it to her instantly it may be critical and let her think over the facts that were listed up.
"I'll bite. What happen?"
"The almost bride to be found out and I was lead to believed it was a mutual separation. I can't believe she freak out about a little blood and few kisses," he added chuckling. "His kick was normal, vanilla."
Yes, it was normal. But the humans were different. Those that like blood came in far and thin. It didn't matter I knew who was involved. But there was still no evidence.
