Chapter 237: Afternoon Tea

In the afternoon, Zuo Weiyi lay down on the sofa while thinking of another way to address s.h.i.+ Yuting.

It was impossible for her to call him “Ting” like Jing Xinlei. If she were to call him “Yuting”… Well, she liked “s.h.i.+ Yuting” better.

If it was “s.h.i.+ babe”… It seemed too childish for him.

As she was struggling with her own thoughts, s.h.i.+ Nuannuan came downstairs.

“Weiyi, the weather is so nice today. Why don’t we go out?”

Zuo Weiyi raised her gaze to s.h.i.+ Nuannuan who was walking down from the stairs.

“Where to?”

s.h.i.+ Nuannuan tilted her head aside and pondered.

“Hmm… Let’s go have afternoon tea!”

Although they could have tea in their house, s.h.i.+ Nuannuan was already drooling thinking about the ice cream from Ice Town.

Eating ice cream during autumn was so much better than eating it in summer!

Seeing that she had nothing to do in the house, Zuo Weiyi gave in to s.h.i.+ Nuannuan’s suggestion. So, both of them left the residence with Xiang Yi as their driver.

When the black Audi was out of the parking lot, Zuo Weiyi naturally opened the door to the backseat. She thought that s.h.i.+ Nuannuan would sit with her, yet as she entered the car, she saw s.h.i.+ Nuannuan sitting in the pa.s.senger seat.

Zuo Weiyi blanked out for a few seconds at her choice.

However, she might be choosing to sit there because there was no one in that seat.

Yet during the journey, Zuo Weiyi was not sure if it was her imagination, but…

Zuo Weiyi lifted her gaze looked at s.h.i.+ Nuannuan’s face.

Why did she feel like Nuannuan kept glancing at Xiang Yi?

The car finally arrived at the tea shop s.h.i.+ Nuannuan mentioned, but even when the car had stopped and Zuo Weiyi had got out of the car, she was still staring at Xiang Yi’s handsome face dreamily.

“Miss, we’re here.”

Xiang Yi felt the burning gaze and turned his head toward it, informing s.h.i.+ Nuannuan calmly.

As he suddenly turned toward her, s.h.i.+ Nuannuan was shocked to be caught red-handed and could not help but blush in embarra.s.sment.

She pursed her lips and her eyes darted, but she pretended to be calm.

“Oh, I- I know!”

She said and took off her seatbelt, exiting the car.

As they entered the shop and found a place, both of the girls sat down.

Xiang Yi also entered upon parking the car.

“Xiang Yi, sit with us!”

s.h.i.+ Nuannuan blurted when she saw Xiang Yi standing beside them.

She was clear that he did not have to bother about the difference in status in front of them.

But today, she wanted him to be a normal person with them, ignoring statuses and the difference in positions and whatnot.

Looking into her big innocent eyes, Xiang Yi froze for a while.

He quickly returned to his calm self. “It’s fine, miss. I’m fine just standing.”

Xiang Yi averted his eyes to avoid her gaze.

Seeing him rejected her, s.h.i.+ Nuannuan’s expression darkened. “I command for you to sit down! This is an order, an order!!”

Her irrefutable tone stunned him, he stared at her face.

“Miss, please don’t…”

“I said this is an order! Sit down!”

s.h.i.+ Nuannuan roared and attracted some gazes from the other customers.

Noticing all the stares, Zuo Weiyi could not help but speak as she looked at Xiang Yi, “Xiang Yi, there’s no one else here, so why don’t you sit down?”
